Suviranta- Your Cozy Lake House in the Heart of Finland with Sauna + Hot Tub

A pretty, cozy, peaceful cottage, which we have lovingly named "Suviranta" right on the shore of the lake. Saarinen lake is small and mostly mirror-like. It is good for swimming, rowing and for fishing. There are forest roads for jogging and cycling in the area, a beautiful walking route around the lake. With EveryMan's right you can pick up berries and mushrooms in the forests. Bicycles in stock.
The cabin has a living room, a small kitchen, 2 small bedrooms (Rosa Room and Lakeview Room), a sauna and an dressing room. Very good WiFi connection, so Suviranta is also suitable for remote working.
The living room has large panoramic windows to the lake. In front of the window, there is a spacious, spreadable dining table and 2 spreadable sofas (so a total of 4 sleeping places), an open fireplace and a baking oven.
The kitchen has all the equipment for cooking and eating. There is also a microwave, a coffee maker and a large fridge/freezer. We bring drinking water at your arrival and please fill it up by yourself from a nearby spring.
Both bedrooms have double beds (4 beds in total). There are all the pillows and blankets ready. There is also a folding bed for children at your disposal if needed.
The sauna has a large wood-burning stove and has the softest baths in the world. The sauna is supplied with water from the lake, which you have to get with buckets yourself. You get warm water when you heat the sauna oven. There is no shower, as it is a traditional finnish sauna.
The sauna and the entrance to the sauna have floor heating, so that even your toes are comfortable to stay there.
The cottage has an A/C, with which you can easily cool down in the summer if needed, and in the winter you can keep it wonderfully warm.
The large terrace has a table, 2 sofas, stools, parasols, a gas grill and a bar counter with sink.
Yard is a clean lawn where it's nice to run barefoot. There is a badminton court and soccer goal.
Here's the highlight of the place: Hot Tub. It has a diameter of 2 m and its use is included in the price. Water for the tub you get with a pump and a pipe.
Another Highlight... is the Toweri. It has a climbing wall to the upper view point terrace. The downstairs is glazed and has a hammock and 2 Fatboys for relaxing and sleeping (sleeping only in warm seasons).
There is firewood in a wood storage building. A suitable amount of firewood is included in the rent.
The Green Storage building has a warehouse where bicycles, life jackets, water toys, etc. are stored for your use.
In that same separate building there is a traditional bio toilet.

From the cabin it is only 30 meters to the beach. On the lake shore there are a large table and benches, electricity, campfire, grill and rowing boat. We have children's swimsuits in stock for boating.
There is a small wooden pier on the beach, surrounded by a gentle and safe sandy bottom for swimming. The large wooden pier is for lounging and there is also a swing with a very wonderful swing!
The place is very child-friendly. Pets are welcome.
Suviranta is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the peace of nature - or to celebrate. The place is very romantic even in winter. Come and experience for yourself!

Please leave this beautiful place in the same condition as before your arrival - dishes washed and everything cleaned. Absolute ban on smoking in the house and in the tower.
Nearest neighbor is approx. 1 km away. The nearest option for shopping is in Vieremä, which is approx. 12 km away.
Kuopio airport nearby, where you can take a rental car, 1.5 hour drive.
Talaskangas Nature Reserve with hiking routes and fire places about 20 minutes drive away.
