Perfect family location

Excellent stay in charming house near Sesimbra. There was nothing missing. Beaches nearby. Great garden and outside pool. The host Maria was making sure everything was in order and was very pleasent to deal with. Perfect house for a family.

Charming house close to Lisbon, Sintra and the beach

A beautiful garden and orchard surround the property, a lovely and very clean house. Maria was very prompt to answer any questions before our stay and welcomed us late in the evening too show us around. Everything worked perfectly. We were a group of 7 - grandparents, parents, uncle and 2 children. The area has a variety of things to do and see, and it was easy to find supermarkets and restaurants close by. We would definitely recommend this property!

Stunning Garden!

We really enjoyed our stay, Maria João was great, she received us with herbal tea from her garden and pasteis de nata. Every time we needed anything she was quick to reply. The children's bedroom is upstairs and the stairs are a bit dangerous for smaller kids, the ceiling is slightly lower. The garden is stunning and the location couldn't be better. Is secluded enough to give you privacy and is 10 minutes drive from seafront and maybe 4 minutes from the supermarket.

Perfect accommodation in a peaceful location

Stayed for one week with my husband and adult children. The accommodation was meticulously clean and comfortable with every need met - including beach towels and parasol. The garden and house were lovely, lots to explore and well equipped. The location is perfect to explore the surrounding area and also for a trip into Lisbon. Plenty of supermarkets,’local markets and excellent recommendations of places to visit by Maria, the owner. Communication with Maria was extremely and she was there waiting for us on arrival and also at the end of our stay. Would certainly recommend a visit to this villa and will hopefully return in the future.

Cozy and quiet place

The house is very cozy, in a beautiful environment, without neighbors - for those who don't like the hustle and bustle of the city. The ceiling on the second floor is quite low, so you need to watch your head at first. There are all necessary things for relaxation and cooking. Easy and quick communication with the host Maria who welcomed us with fresh Pastel de Nata.

Well equipped house in beautiful garden

We spent one week with 4 adults and 3 small children in Maria's house and had a wonderful time. The garden is well maintained and beautiful, and we we really enjoyed the outdoor areas with shade, seating and the pool. It was a perfectly safe space for the kids to roam around. The house pretty, cozy and super well equipped with anything you could need in the kitchen and even beach towels. It comes with the downsides of a charming old house like creaking doors and stuffy cupboards, which we did not mind much. The small upstairs bathroom and steep staircase - which were the only downsides for us - are supposed to see a makeover later on the year. Maria is a wonderful host who was very available via phone/whatsapp and had lots of recommendations in the local area for us.

Vacances en famille

La maison est assez grande et joliment décorée. Elle reste fraîche malgré la chaleur. Le jardin est coloré et agréable. La propriétaire donne beaucoup d'informations sur les environs et est disponible. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit allem was man braucht

Ich war im Oktober mit meiner Familie bei Maria zu Gast. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht und ein schönes Aussengelände. In der näheren Umgebung finden man tolle Strände und Buchten. Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten erreichbar. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen und planen schon die nächste Reise. Maria war sehr freundlich und immer gut zu erreichen.

Charmante maison avec un extérieur très agréable. Le petit plus, la piscine entrenue à notre arrivée et pendant le séjour. Very nice house and beautiful garden

The stay in this house was really good. Maria was very nice and there were good tips available in terms of restaurants, beaches etc. The garden is large and very well maintained. The house is equipped with everything necessary and very clean. We would come back.

Estancia perfecta

Nuestra estancia en Sesimbra fue estupenda, la casa dispone de todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. El anfitrión, Gonzalo, así como su madre, María, unas personas detallistas y amables. La zona preciosa y con muchas actividades para hacer y multitud de sitios para visitar, como Lisboa, y ppr supuesto las playas. Una más familiar y otra más salvage. Amadorismo

A casa tem uma escada perigosissima. No andar de cima, com dois quartos, anda-se de cócoras. A proprietária no primeiro dia convida, no futuro, a estabelecer contacto directo com ela e diz pessimamente da vrbo. Péssima impressão. Falta de sentido de serviço da proprietária da casa. (não consigo clicar no "aqui" e abrir link para perceber o que não está conforme. Agradeço me informem claramente. obrigado.

Wonderful stay in a very calm place

Amazing house, the rooms are very big, all facilities available. Wonderful garden all surrounded by walls and full of trees and flowers. Maria Is very nice and communication was very good. The grill is perfect for fish and to have lunch and dinner outside.

Uitstekende gastvrouw en heer (op afstand) , huisje enigszins gedateerd.

De woning is zoals op de foto, helemaal op je zelf . Alles wat je nodig hebt in een vakantiewoning is er , de familie heeft het huis ook in gebruik. De inventaris, met name in de keuken is gedateerd en is aan vervanging toe. De woning is geschikt om twee gezinnen te huisvesten en biedt voldoende gelegenheid om ook een dag thuis te blijven die je dan kan afsluiten met een heerlijke BBQ. In de omgeving van Sesimbra is veel te doen, veel stranden en natuurparken. De natuur is hier prachtig. Als je uit eten gaat is er vooral veel vis, de supermarkten verkopen overigens uitstekende kwaliteit producten. Ik heb de wijn uit Portugal goed leen kennen en heeft bij zeer positief verrast! Lissabon en Sintra zijn verplichte uitstapjes maar houd rekening met het verkeer op brug. Maria en Goncalo zijn zeer behulpzaam gastvrij.

Séjour parfait !

La maison parfaite pour passer un moment paisible dans cette belle région ! À 40 minutes de Lisbonne, à 10 minutes des plages. Maria et Gonçalvo sont des hôtes très prévenants. La maison est très propre et très fonctionnelle. Les chambres sont grandes, les terrasses sont appréciables pour passer de bons moments en famille ! Nous avons été conquis par notre séjour !

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréables dans la maison de Maria. Elle est très bien équipée et conforme à l'annonce le jardin et le barbecue sont excellents. L'accueil de Maria est à la hauteur de sa réputation (voir commentaires précédents)

Maison chaleureuse avec un extérieur très agréable

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette jolie maison. Très bon accueil reçu de la part de la propriétaire. La maison était un peu fraîche en février mais la cheminée nous a permis de passer de très bonnes soirées à l'intérieur. Nous avons pu profiter du beau jardin pour déjeuner en extérieur chaque midi.

Vacances formidables à Sesimbra

Nous avons été accueillis de façon très chaleureuse par Gonçalo et sa maman Maria, ils nous ont donné de nombreux conseils pour les plages, les restaurants et les visites de la région. La maison est agréable, le jardin et la terrasse sont ombragés et bien équipés de transats pour passer des vacances dehors. Les plages sont magnifiques et le coin est assez sauvage . Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Cozy house parfait for 2 weeks in Portugal

We spend an amazing time in Maria's and Goncalo house, just close to Lisbon on a relax place surrounded by nature, very close to different beaches, all of them very different and all still keeping the portuguese charm and authenticity. A car is recommended to be more agile, but all facilities incluiding supermarkets 5minutes away, the house has a huge garden very safe for kids as its all protected and just perfect to grill fish outside. Clear recommendation!
