TRANQUIL RETREAT -Drie slaapkamer-woning gelegen op een mini 'On Golden Pond'. Slechts drie andere huizen op de particuliere 10 hectare grote vijver. Waterfietsen of kajaks - allemaal beschikbaar ter plaatse om door het kristalheldere water te navigeren. Gelegen aan het afgedamde uiteinde van de vijver, zult u worden getroost door het geluid van water dat over de dam naar de beek beneden stroomt. Ook slechts een 1/4 mijl naar het openbare strand van het meer van Luzern. De Gazebo, gas grill, patio, dock, picknick tafel, hangmat, outdoor vuurplaats en Adirondack stoelen maken het de perfecte setting om te ontspannen of om te entertainen.

En binnen, (als je er ooit in gaat): Het huis is volledig ingericht, met een woonkamer, slaapkamer, grote complete badkamer met wasmachine en droger, keuken en eetkamer op de eerste verdieping. De keuken heeft een grote koelkast, een elektrisch fornuis / oven, een koffiezetapparaat, een magnetron en een broodrooster. Er is een groot raam in de keuken met een prachtig uitzicht op de vijver om u te inspireren terwijl u kookt. De grote eettafel biedt plaats aan 8 personen. De andere twee slaapkamers bevinden zich op de tweede verdieping; beide hebben ramen met uitzicht op het water. Alle slaapkamers zijn geschikt voor maximaal twee personen. Linnengoed en vuilnis worden verstrekt. Toegang tot internet inbegrepen.

SARATOGA SPRINGS: ongeveer 20 minuten naar het schilderachtige stadje Saratoga Springs, om te winkelen, Saratoga Performing Arts Centre (veel zomerconcerten, orkest en ballet), Saratoga flattrack, Saratoga Polo Club, Saratoga Harness Track en het nieuwe Saratoga Gaming Casino . Dicht genoeg, maar toch ver weg van oudejaarsavondvieringen.

LAKE LUZERNE: Ongeveer 1/4 mijl lopen naar het meer van Luzern en het openbare strand. Gratis openluchtconcerten in de zomer in het paviljoen met uitzicht op het meer van Luzerne. Omhoog over de heuvel naar Hadley / Luzerne openbare school met toegang tot speeltuin. Korte wandeling naar de stad Lake Luzerne met openbare bibliotheek, markt, stad basketbal en tennisbanen, UpRiver restaurant, en white water rafting excursies. 9-holes golfbaan - Bend of the River in Hadley (minder dan vijf mijl afstand). Ongeveer drie mijl van Warren County sneeuwscooter paden; minder dan 30 minuten van West Mountain om te skiën. Ice Skate direct voor de deur (wanneer het vijverijs het toelaat), of in het nabijgelegen Lake Luzerne.

Family get away

The little pond house was perfect. Well kept, and grounds are beautiful right in the pond. My family and I enjoyed our time here. Will return in the future.

Perfect!

We stayed 3 nights, everything was as pictured. House was nice, we fished off the paddle boat and had so much fun! Very peaceful and private location! Diane the host was amazing! We will be back!

Amazing!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property and we didn't want to go home. This place is a hidden gem! If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation rental then you need to book now! Wonderful week in an idyllic home

We were a party of 6 adults who stayed a week in order to make day trips to Lake George, Ticonderoga, Albany, Saratoga Springs and western Vermont. We found the home to be very comfortable and, in all ways, as depicted in the listing (or better). It was perfectly situated for the types of trips I mentioned and for days you want to stay on property, too. We hope to return!

Annual retreat

A perfect, peaceful getaway.

Property is perfect for an active family with a pet. A peaceful retreat to detox from corporate life! Love the creeks, trails, and beaches within a short walk. Lots to do and see in the area.

Family time

Quiet and beautiful place, had everything what we needed it for a peaceful weekend with my husband, son and our 2 dogs, we went for a long walk and the neighbors were really nice, we used the grill and the kitchen so we didn't need to look for a restaurant.

Great Stay

We were passing through on a vacation with our dog and had never visited this area before. We only had a couple of days to stay, but were very glad we did. This was such a nice, private spot on the water and we were able to use the kayaks on the pond. The property manager was so prompt with responses to our questions and very helpful with ideas of things to do nearby, including hikes, biking trails, and restaurants. Wish we had more time to explore, but would definitely return. Also, so glad it was dog-friendly.

Loved our stay?

We absolutely loved our week on the pond!!! The house was cute but the outside was amazing!!!! Loved the dam landing with the peddleboat and kayaks!!! So much to do just at home - without even leaving! Kayaked, swam, and had fires. Thank you so much for this family week before our oldest heads back to college!

We enjoyed our stay. They provide very detailed information, I even don't need to ask for anything. Kitchens utensils are complete, the kids very happy with all the family games stacked under the TV. We had a very great family time.

Property was just as described. No complaints and no issues during our stay. My two teens enjoyed the kayaks, peddle boat and even caught some fish. Lazy River Tubby Tubing was fun and close by and highly recommend the Long Horn Restaurant for dinner. Diane was very nice and checked on us during our stay.

Lovely

If you are looking to stay somewhere close to all the tourist spots of the Lake george region but want to avoid the prices and traffic , you found it!! This location is quiet, peaceful and enjoyable. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows at night and the water during the day. My nephew caught a beautiful bass. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.😊

Pond House

We stayed at The Pond House in Lake Luzerne NY. We chose the location because it was close to Lake George and allowed pets. My Husband, my son and myself along with our pet Corgi had a fantastic visit. Home was clean and fishing was plentiful. My husband couldn’t believe how many he caught (and released). Quiet area and so close to Lake George for shopping and boating. We had a great time.

Excellent experience

We needed a good place for our family to stay while going to Winterfest. We enjoyed the privacy of the location, the layout of the house and the yard was ideal for us. Enjoyed a fire outside, and the view over the pond. Its a short hop to Lake George and also good local dining options. Diane was an excellent host, and we would definitely return or book another of her properties. Overall excellent time and quality service. Thanks for the experience!

Family time

We had a very nice time in spite of nasty weather for most of our week. The house was as described and pictured. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. Although we were unable to use the pond there were 2 kayaks and a peddle boat as promised with life jackets available in the shed. All in all we had a very nice visit with family and friends and the house was all that was promised.

Family time at the pond house

The property was very nice, pond was crystal clear. The guys enjoyed fishing and we all enjoyed the pedal boat. We were disappointed that the hammock wasn't there, we would have enjoyed a nap in it! There was a lot more things supplied in the kitchen that weren't in the listing for the property, it would've saved us from bringing them with us. Overall, it was a very enjoyable, relaxing few days. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your property!!

Family Vacation

Me, my husband, and 2 young adult children really enjoyed our week at the Pond House. The outside space with kayaks and pedal boat for the pond and fire-pit were perfect. The house was as advertised with plenty of room for 4 people. The bathroom was updated with plenty of towels. It was a short drive to Luzerne and Fourth Lakes to rent a boat for catching fish. Lake George is only a 20 minute drive for shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed rail bikes at Hadley Station. Diane was very responsive when the circuit breaker tripped. She was at the house in minutes. We’d be happy to visit again next time we are in the Adirondacks.
