Voor wat culturele hoogtepunten maak je een uitstap naar Teatro del Carmen en Centro de Arte Contemporaneo de Velez Malaga en een aantal bezienswaardigheden die je in de omgeving kunt ontdekken zijn onder andere Balcon de Europa en Casa Cervantes. The place to be during Dutch winter time!

A nice spacey villa well maintained, clean and at a nice location away from the tourist area but not too far from the city and numerous shops. We enjoyed 4 weeks sun during the whole month febr 2025. Contact with manager and owners was excellent. Value for money!!

Wonderful villa in the mountains

Spacious, but cozy, comfortable villa with a nice pool. Though you would need a car to get to nearby towns for groceries, there are plenty of walks around in the mountains to enjoy the views. We immensely enjoyed staying there.

Great Villa for a 2 week chill out

Well equipped villa for 6 people in quiet location 15 mins from the coast with great pool area and view over a valley. Easy access just off a main road which was a big plus. Straightforward booking arrangements and good communication with owners. Highly recommended.

Lovely villa

This is a lovely spacious villa, everything you need with plenty of kitchen items, washer, dishwasher etc. The view is great and pool area spacious. We heated the pool as we expected it ti be quite cold but on reflection probably didnt need it, the pool was wonderful. Its a 10 min drive down to the town and a further 5 to the beachfront. The drive is a mountain road with a few tight areas but perfectly driveable, drive down to villa is steep 1 lane but concrete so easy enough. However you are in the hills so expect some critters, we saw a lovely praying mantis on the poorch one morning, also there are mozzies so stop by Eroski as you come off the highway at Velez malaga and pick up some repellant. Lovely stay and really enjoyed the villa, dont know about tv as we didnt switch it on. Wifi was good and never dropped out.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt in einer super Vila

Die Vila ist wirklich sehr schön. Mein kann hier wunderbar Urlaub machen auch mit Kindern. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Die Vila ist sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist Abseits, aber dadurch perfekt für ein paar ruhige Tage. Trotzdem kommt man mit dem Auto gut in die Städte. Einzuges Manko war die schlechte Internet Anbindung. Dadurch konnte aber die Zeit in der Familie umso intensiver genutzt werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschönes Haus in wunderschöner Lage

Das Haus ist sehr groß, sehr sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super ausgestattet (ausreichend Geschirr, viele Töpfe und intakte Pfannen, Geschirrspülmaschine, Waschmaschine, großer Kühlschrank, stabiles W-Lan, Fernseher, bequeme Sofas und Betten, ein herrlicher Pool und Sonne ab 9 Uhr früh bis 19 Uhr abends). Man hat einen unverbauten Blick ins Tal, liegt unter Palmen, der Garten blüht und an den Bäumen wachsen Limetten. Es ist ruhig, oft weht ein laues Lüftchen. Dazu ein netter und unkomlizierter Kontakt zur Besitzerin und zum Gärtner. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Villa magnifique avec tout le confort pour de superbes vacances.

Site superbe au calme , de superbes choses à voir dans toute la province de Malaga...mer ou montagne à vous de choisir, tout est à porter de main! Genial et à refaire, nous n'avons pas tout vu!

Eine schöne Finca in den Bergen

Der Aufenthalt mit schöne Erinnerungen. Es gibt einen Gärtner, der sich um den Pool und die Pflanzen kümmert. Bei Problemen im Haus steht Madeleine oder der Gärtner sofort zur Verfügung. Man sollte aber ein bisschen spanisch können. Madeleine spricht viele Sprachen, aber mit spanisch ging es am besten. Es war ein schönes Erlebnis. Ein bisschen schwer zu finden. Man sollte sich schon vorher in Maps kundig machen.

We had a marvellous stay in this beautiful villa in the hills. The pool was wonderfully refreshing on hot sunny afternoons, and the air-conditioning worked well. The property was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We had prompt, helpful communication with the host, and would love to return.

Peaceful location

The living space is perfect. Stacks of space to accommodate family with ample seating and good size dining table. Bedrooms were ok but pillows were not great. Main bathroom a good size and good shower but small shower room had issues with drainage so we limited use at the end of our stay. We had a daily task of clearing the pool of leaves and insects as the wind blows nicely up the valley (a blessing on those hot days) but it means debris blows into the pool. Not a big issue and anyway the maintenance chap pops by from time to time. Useful to know that Arenas village is 4 Kms away on a windy road with no pavement so you have to drive everywhere. A car is definitely needed. Nice outside space and pool lovely. If you have young children in and out of the pool it’s important to note the tiles on the patio are very slippery when wet. A suggestion would be to put a rubber mat there. Overall a lovely stay in a peaceful location.

Ideal para desconectar del mundo

La localización es perfecta para desconectar de todo, se trata de un sitio muy tranquilo en el que pasar unos días agradables. Como contrapartida, la carretera de acceso es un poco complicada y la conectividad no es completa, ya que hay muy poca cobertura móvil y la WiFi incluida no proporciona una conexión adecuada. La televisión es sólo por satélite, por lo que la mayoría de los canales no son españoles. Imprescindible llevar repelente de insectos y, para estancias largas, vendría bien un juego de toallas adicional. Si lo que se busca es desconectar de todo, se trata del lugar perfecto para hacerlo.

Lovely stay

The Villa is situated in a very good area, easily accessible to both Velez Malaga and the nearby Parque Commercial. It is fully equipped with everything that you need for your stay and also very clean. We spent a very relaxing 2 weeks at Casa Sofia and would definitely book again.

Superb holiday

Really lovely villa, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and very comfortable. Really easy to find and safe easy driveway to the property a real bonus having experienced ‘tracks’ at other similar properties. Location was very good, easy to get to beaches and shopping malls Thoroughly recommended

Excellent séjour !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette villa, lumineuse, spacieuse et aménagée avec goût. La piscine a su combler petits et grands en fin d'après-midi après des journées de visite bien chargées. Merci à Madeleine et Jean-Pierre pour leur accueil chaleureux, les confitures et le muscat. Villa à louer sans hésitation pour apprécier le calme et la beauté des lieux. Nous reviendrons certainement. ( couple avec deux enfants )

merveilleuse découverte

Nous venons de passer nos premières vacances en Espagne. Nous sommes 5 personnes ( 2 adultes et 3 enfants 15,12,8 ans ), Le premier jour après quelques minutes de stress sur la route sinueuse de montagne, nous sommes accueillit par la voisine qui parle français. Merveilleuse villa, encore plus belle que sur les photos.Maison très bien équipée , très propre ( appareils ménagers et vaisselle en suffisance). Piscine extra, du soleil à la piscine toute la journée, jardin extérieur entretenu pendant le séjour. Dans les environs, de magnifiques villages à découvrir ( nerja et les villages blancs). Villa au calme, commerces à 5 km, grand complexe commercial à 12 km. Très longue plage à Torre de Mar ou plages plus petites et typiques à Nerja ( 25 km). Nous avons été plus que comblés par nos vacances ( 14 nuits) et à l'année prochaine.... A recommander..... Hélène,Musa, Léventh, Kyllian et Eléna

Que du bonheur

Excellentes vacances loin des bruits de la ville. Villa très bien située, au calme, sans être isolée. Très bien équipées et bien entretenue. La piscine est un grand atout : les plages étant sans attrait. Des lieux visités je vous recommande, entre autre, la majestueuse La Alhambra de Grenade, Ronda et son précipice impressionnant, quelques villages à flanc de colline : Frigiliana, Compéta. Villa conforme au descriptif. Merci aux propriétaires pour ces très bonnes vacances.

Excellent !!! les meilleures vacances du monde !

il n'y a pas de mot pour décrirer nos vacances ... C'est tout simplement genial IDEAL pour les familles avec enfants .. calme, soleil, piscine tres proche de la maison donc toujours à vue pour surveiller les enfants.. Maison hyper bien équipée ... propre, spacieuse .... Des propriétaires charmants (Madeleine et son époux ...) nous y sommes deja allés en 2009, y sommes retournés en 2010 3 semaines et avons bien l'intention d'y retourner 2 fois 2011 !! ... Merci, merci et merci .. que du bonheur !
