Onafhankelijke accommodatie aan het strand bestaat uit twee verdiepingen met balkons op de begane grond en een grote tuin met barbecue en schommelen, met een eigen toegang tot het strand. Begane grond met woonkamer, met banken en ingericht in een nautisch thema, keuken met vaatwasser. Drie slaapkamers boven met badkamer en douche. Present kleine wasruimte met wasmachine functioneren.
Het huis ligt op ongeveer 15 minuten rijden van het centrum van Catania, op slechts 30 minuten van het centrum van Syracuse, op 10 minuten van de luchthaven Fontanarossa, en een 5-minuten rijden van Lentini, een paar meter dit uitstekende restaurant en een pizzeria.

great holiday home on the beach

A beautiful holiday home to feel at home, very well-equipped kitchen, lots of space, spacious terrace with outdoor kitchen, direct access to the beach. Mount Etna can always be seen from the beach, great excursion destinations and pretty towns nearby. Very friendly owner.

Wonderful Stay!

Riccardo was so helpful and accommodating. His place was very comfortable and ideally located to see all the sights on the eastern side of Sicily. Direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach with a view of Mount Etna was a highlight. Would definitely recommend!

Villa with private beach access

If you're after a quiet place with sandy beaches at your doorstep, this is a perfect place. We rented a car and explored the island based in this villa. Ricardo was very helpful.

Great spot!

A fantastic house, just a few steps from the beach, through it's own private gate! Perfectly set up for a family, the house is spacious with plenty of outdoor seating to catch the sun or shade. The location makes trips to Catania, Syracuse and Noto easy days out. With the sandy beach on the doorstep, I highly recommend this place!

Phantastic stay in Sicily

Great location between Catania and Syracusa - very spacious flat with very well equipped kitchen. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby (ok, a car is definately needed) and it is a great flat to prepare for a lot of trips on the island. Apart from going to the South and East of the island the beach is great with not too many other people around - we will definately be back!!!

Really nice property, spacious large rooms. Large patio off kitchen and living room. All three bedrooms have nice balconies. Fifty yards to the beach. Two sets of patio furniture in sunshine.

Super property close to fabulous beach

A very comfortable property with everything that we needed. It really is just a few minutes from a wonderful sandy, nearly empty beach with great views of Etna. Good for visiting anywhere in the East of Sicily, and a couple of great friendly restaurants just five minutes away in the car. Special thanks to Riccardo for waiting for us for several hours after our plane was diverted!

Nicely located close to the beach. Well equipped. Very pleasant and cooperative hosts. Good base camp to reach major sights like Taormina, Catania and Siracusa. However rather long distances to retail and restaurant infrastructure. All in all to be warmly recommended.

Easy access to beach, responsive host

Comfortable house, well supplied. Quite large and nice for large group. Nice outdoor lights bing space adjacent to other houses. 22 minutes to airport offered perfect place to launch day trips to Enna, Morgantina and Piazza Armerina which strongly recommend. Ricardo was very responsive to issues brought about by a powerful storm. In the US there’s a very different electrical system and he patiently came out immediately to reset everything. There’s an amazing lake a few minutes walk away that is very near to the sea where I got stuck me amazing sunset fotos. This place is perfect for families who want easy access to the beach.

Great summer break

Our family of 4 enjoyed the stay at the property during mid July 2022. Riccardo was great host. Greeting us at the airport and helping us with the luggage. The property was well equipped with everything required and located very very close to the great beach (which was very quiet). Rental car is a must as there are no shops/restaurants within a walking distance. Overall great experience. Fully Recommended for people who want to enjoy a relaxing break.

We had nice few days in the Riccardo's house. The hause was spacious, clean and very close to the sea. The beach was sandy and we were almost alone there. As the days were really hot, we missed the air condition very much as it iis nstalled only in one sleeping room what was not sufficient. Also the property is far from grocery shop what was disadvantage for our family. On the other side the distance to the airport was perfect. In general we were satisfied and had nice stay 😊

Great location for visiting the Eastern Side of Sicily

Riccardo was great always replying within minutes to any communication. The accommodation is very clean and very well equipped. Parking was easy and the beach was lovely. We had a great week using Riccardos house as a base visiting Etna, Taormina, Catania, Syracusa and Ophigia as well as Noto and the Cave Grande. You do need a car as the property is not close to any shops or restaurants but as a base it was great. It was lovely sitting on the upstairs balcony and the outside downstairs was lovely for breakfast and lunch. It was great being only 25 minutes from Catania airport too with no noise from the airport. Thank you Riccardo for a lovely week.

Catania Beach rental

While the property is listed as a beach property, we selected the rental to be our base to explore the east coast of Sicily from Taormina down to Noto. From here these were easy day trips as there was close access to the autostrada, allowing us to avoid the Catania inner city which is almost constantly congested. Riccardo was there to meet us and parking is included and just outside the front door. The unit is located in a more isolated setting and grocery stores and gas stations are 10-15 minutes away so get your groceries on the way there. Riccardo was very accessible via text and phone. The unit is spacious and clean.

toller Urlaub

die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist sehr abseits, dafür hat man aber seine Ruhe. Man ist auf ein Fahrzeug angewiesen. Ricardo als privater Vermieter war immer erreichbar, hilfreich und total zuverlässig. Die Wohnung war groß, sauber und hatte alles was man benötigte vor Ort. Wir haben 14 Tage dort verbracht und handn uns wohl gefühlt. Danke Ricardo für den tollen Urlaub.

Super Gastgeber

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage für einen Strandurlaub. Zum Meer waren es nur ein paar Schritte über einen Privatweg. Das Meer und der Strand selbst ist traumhaft und bestens geeignet für (Klein-)Kinder: sauber, menschenleer, flach abfallend mit Sandbank. Das Haus ist geräumig und die Räume sind auf 2 Stockwerke verteilt. Es war sehr sauber und entsprach der Beschreibung vollständig. Besonders zu erwähnen waren der Grill, die Spül- und Waschmaschine und die Klimaanlagen. Ganz besonders erwähnen wollen wir Riccardo. Unser komplettes Gepäck ging auf dem Flug verloren. Riccardo hat uns unglaublich unterstützt, viel organisiert und immer wieder seine Hilfe und Unterstützung angeboren. Lieber Riccardo, nochmals vielen Dank für deine enorme Unterstützung und dass wir - trotz der ganzen Umstände - so schöne Tage in deinem Ferienhaus verbringen durften. Marco mit Familie

Familienurlaub 2024

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten und schönen Urlaub in Riccardo's Haus. Dank Riccardo haben wir auch am späten Sonntag Abend etwas zu essen und trinken gehabt. Die Vormittage verbrachten wir am nicht mal 50m entfernten privaten Sandstrand. Am Nachmittag ging es dann zum Sightseeing (Ätna, Catania, Syracus, Taormina etc). Alles mit ca. 1h Fahrzeit gut zu erreichen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Schöne Unterkunft in Doppelhaushälfte, großzügig und z.T. klimatisiert. Terrasse hinter zwei Häusern (kein Meerblick). Direkter Zugang zum Strand. Abgelegene Lage, ruhig bis auf die vielen Hunde in der Nachbarschaft.

Große Villa mit tollem Strand

Die Villa war ruhig gelegen, man hörte das Meer rauschen und konnte über den eigenen Zugang schnell mal zum Strand gehen, der immer leer war, da es in der Nähe keinen öffentlichen Zugang gibt. Das Haus hat alles, was man benötigt. Da wir ein paar stürmische Nächte hatten, wurde uns nachts etwas kalt, da wären etwas dickere Decken schön gewesen. Ansonsten hatten wir keine Probleme. Riccardo der Gastgeber war stets erreichbar und sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Strand, Strand, Strand!

Was für eine wunderbare Zeit in Riccardos Haus am Strand! Es ist zwar in der 2. Reihe, aber was macht das wenn man einen privaten Strandzugang hat? Wir waren jeden Tag dort, weil man eben immer schnell da ist - schon in Badesachen einfach los und ins warme Meer springen, danach noch am Strand kurz abduschen und entweder mit den Füßen im Sand bleiben oder auf der Terrasse in der Hollywoodschaukel im Schatten sitzen...für jeden was dabei! Auch die Tipps bezüglich Parken in Catania von Riccardo waren Gold wert und überhaupt seine unauffällige Betreuung jederzeit (vor allem die leise Müllabholung) ... ;-) Die Lage ist für Ausflüge ideal, auch wenn wir uns das überwiegend für ein anderes Mal aufgespart haben, weil wir unser Privatmeer nicht verlassen wollten und ein Einkaufstag schon lästig genug war. Deshalb lieber für ein paar Tage einkaufen, damit man nach dem Baden direkt ein Feierabendgetränk am Strand nehmen konnte um sich dann danach um den schönen Außengrill auf der Terrasse zu versammeln - Leben findet eben im Süden draußen statt und dass haben wir in vollen Zügen genossen! Übrigens war das Meer auch im Dunkeln schön: Also warum nicht vor dem Schlafengehen noch mal kurz an den Strand und in Riccardos dafür bereitgestellten Stühlen im Sand sitzen?
