Dit huisje is gebouwd in de traditionele Alentejo-stijl en biedt alles wat u zich maar kunt wensen voor een echt rustige en ontspannen vakantie, weg van de drukte om één te zijn met de natuur. Maar het heeft nog steeds alle moderne gemakken (behalve een vaatwasser) en een prachtig zwembad met een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht. U zult geen rustiger uitje dan dit vinden, maar het is slechts tien minuten lopen naar het dichtstbijzijnde dorp en tien minuten rijden naar een goed gesorteerde supermarkt. Als u de behoefte aan het strand voelt, zijn de ongerepte stranden aan de westkust minder dan een uur rijden.

Stunning scenic villa

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful countryside villa. The house had everything we wanted; a nice pool, multiiple cozy sitting areas and useful cooking supplies and kitchen utensils. The contact with Martin went smoothly as well. Overall perfect accommodation in a beautiful quiet spot!

Total seclusion!

Lovely villa with amazing views. Larger than expected swimming pool, well appointed villa. Grab your provisions from the supermarket 12km away and use this beautiful villa as a bolt hole for a fabulous rest.

Peaceful rural retreat

Delightful place in beautiful countryside with panoramic views. The only sounds around were the sheep bells, swallows, nearby horses and the distant trains to Faro and Lisbon. Very peaceful and private but just a 10 - 15 minute drive to the nearby town Ourique for restaurants and shops. The Alentejo cheese and wines are highly recommended! The pool was fantastic and big enough to swim properly in. Martin the owner was super helpful - met us in Ourique and guided us to the property and showed us around. He was on hand living nearby and always responded quickly to any queries and also checked the pool during our stay. He was so kind when we needed to find a hospital - even driving all the way there with us and translating for us!

Ruhiger und abgeschieder Erholungsurlaub

Wir haben wundervolle 2 Wochen in dem Haus verbracht . Das Haus ist sehr abgelegen. Von dem zweiten Ferienhaus sieht man nur das Dach. Ein herrliche Ruhe, die nur morgens und anbends von den Glocken der Ziegen und Kühe unterbrochen wird. Die Zufahrt ist nur ein Feldweg – daher besser eine entsprechende Mietwagenversicherung abschließen…. Das Haus ist für vier Personen ausgelegt. Die Größe ist optimal. Die Küche ist gut und funktional eingerichtet, wenn auch nicht besonders modern. Das Schlafzimmer mir Doppelbett hat ein sich direkt anschließendes Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Ein weiteres Badzimmer mit Dusche ist neben dem zweiten Schlafzimmer. Es gibt zwar keine Klimaanlage, wenn man jedoch morgens gut durchlüftet, hält sich die Kühle den ganzen Tag. Der Pool ist groß genug, um ein wenig schwimmen zu können (auch im Kreis). So kann man herrlich die Aussicht auf die Gegend von der Terrasse aus genießen und sich kurz im Pool abkühlen, um dann weiter auf den Liegen zu entspannen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben ihn nur kurz kennengelernt, da er selbst im Urlaub war. Dafür war ein Freund von ihm hilfsbereit uns zur Seite gestellt. Das nächstgelegene Dorf bietet nur geringe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bzw Restaurants für Mittagessen. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind aber nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und gut zu erreichen. Algrave und Westküste sind rund eine Autostunde entfernt. Die Wohnung eignet sich daher nicht unbedingt als Ausgangspunkt für Strandurlab.

Petite maison au calme avec une vue paisible tout autour 😊 et des couchers de soleil différents tout les soirs 😍 et avec la couleur de la terre et la chaleur 36 degrés en moyenne on se croirait dans "out of Africa" Et la piscine qui nous attendait tout les jours que demandé de plus ! Marten nous a très bien accueilli Il y a juste le nécessaire qu'il faut pour passer de magnifiques vacances 😉 Juste petit bémol des rideaux pas suffisamment opactant pour la luminosité dans la chambre surtout avec le levé du soleil Sinon tout était parfait Je recommande pour ceux qui veulent vraiment se reposer dans le calme

Heerlijke rustige vakantie. Mooi huis op prima locatie. Van alle gemakken voorzien (behalve vaatwasser). Kan hier en daar wel wat onderhoud en modernisering gebruiken. Marten is vriendelijke prima gast. Staat klaar om alle vragen te beantwoorden.

Sehr schönes Haus mit Pool

Wir waren zu viert in diesem Haus. Der Host hat und in der Nähe abgeholt und wir sind zusammen zum Haus gefahren. Das war auch gar nicht schlecht da das Haus sehr abgelegen liegt. Man bekommt von seinen Nachbarn nichts mit. Der Host Martin war super freundlich und alles lief bestens. Das Haus an sich war auch super und der Pool noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Wir kommen gern wieder

Casa bonita

Casa típica alentejana no monte alentejano com boas vistas e solarenga, com bastante privacidade e seria em espaço semi selvagem. A casa está bem mobilada e com o essencial para uma boa estadia. Os acessos são em terra, mas com calma Faz se bem, a piscina de verão é essencial devido ao calor. O proprietário é responsável e empenhado e dá nos total privacidade Sujestao, cuidado com janelas e portas abertas por causa das melgas, e muito cuidado com os churrascos, as vespas são amistosas não picam, existe uma grande variedade de animais, aves, insectos e répteis. Gostamos imenso da estadia.

Excellent get-away place.

We were looking for a private place with a private pool. This was a perfect place for us. We were completely isolated but still close enough to do shopping or go to a restaurant if we wanted. The kitchen was equipped enough for our needs apart for the lack of dishwasher The only negative thing we can mention were the wasps around the pool. But that might comes with the territory. Just a suggestion. Some of the windows should have nets to avoid some of the insects to come in during the day/night

A não repetir

Total ausência de higiene, começando nas roupas da cama com manchas amarelas, passando pelo frigorífico com restos de sangue, teias de aranha por todo o lado incluindo no interior da chaminé (não tem exaustor), terminando na piscina com a parede verde (fungos) ao nível da água. Entrámos ao final do dia e abandonamos o alojamento na manhã seguinte. Deplorável.

Nice house in the middle of nowhere

Very nice house with a lovely pool near a tiny village in the Alentejo. You will find everything you need in the house for BBQ and cooking. Your host is a nice and discrete Person but always available in case you need assistance. You definitely need a car. The coast is not far always and the next bigger supermarket a 10 min. drive in the village itself you have a mini market and a cafe bar. If you like it calm this is the place to go we will come back if we are again in this region .
