Wonderful location on Gozo

Frank was a wonderful and informative host. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our weeks stay.We were within walking distance from the Mgarr ferry terminal, and close to bus stops which easily take you anywhere on the island.The supermarket was a bit of a longer walk (about 20 mins) but as the weather was usually wonderful, it was very enjoyable.We loved our stay on Gozo, and loved our stay at this spacious, and quiet house.

Wonderful Stay in Gozo and a host that went above and beyond!

We spent the holidays in Gozo and found this property in Ghajnsielem was perfectly located. It was exactly what we hoped for. Our host, Frank, made arrival incredibly easy. He picked us up from the ferry to help with our luggage as well as having delicious food waiting for us upon arrival. He proceeded to take us to the grocery store and then even picked up the 4th member of our group. He went through a map and highlighted walks and sights we should try to hit as well as giving detail instructions on bus lines and transportation. Most of which we did. There were bikes available but we hit the island on foot and tried to emerge ourselves into the beautiful Gozitan culture. It was amazing! The beds were comfortable and we loved all the balconies and patios because even in December, we had amazing weather. We would highly recommend this rental.

The best host ever.

Frank was the perfect host from start to finish and clearly wanted us to enjoy Gozo going out of his way to tell us everything that might help us achieve that. The property lacked nothing. We especially appreciated all the balconies, giving either sun or shade for each moment of the day. The only down side for us was the noise of the road traffic at night, accelerating as they climbed the hill, but we come from a very rural area and are not used to any traffic at night.

Fabulous Gozo Home

This home is a wonderful place to stay with friends or family. Frank has thought of every amenity needed to have an enjoyable stay. You can walk down to the harbor and enjoy a great dinner or drink while looking at the incredible sea views. We would stay there again if we ever go back to Malta.

Gozo adventure

The property was in a great location for ferry and bus access to every part of the island. Close to restaurants in marina and we did two coastal hikes from house. Also a fantastic spa at the Grand Hotel. Frank was an unbelievable host. He picked us up at the ferry and had wine and snacks ready. He also briefed us on what to do and how to get there on buses. Best of all he took us to the supermarket and fresh fish stores since we were staying a week. By far the best communication with a host.

"Unique"

Our stay in Ghajnsielem

The island of Gozo, and coastal walks are stunning. The good things about the property are its location and convenience to Mgharr harbour. This property is perfect for someone staying for a few days. We stayed for 5 weeks, and the rustic nature of the place started to weigh heavily on us. The place is well equipped, but it is certainly not luxurious. Look elsewhere if you want to stay for more than a few days.

Great accommodation, brilliant host!

I stayed at Mediterranea Seaviews for two nights only but wished it had been longer. Fabulous property and brilliant host, Frank, who does everything in his power to make your stay welcome. The property is conveniently located and next to bus stops that give you links to the rest of the island. The property itself is very spacious and has loads of balconies giving you sunshine whenever the sun shines. The accommodation has everything and more than you would expect and I was very luck to be given some of Frank's mum's home cooking whilst I was there, thank you so much, a fabulous stay.

Great attention to Detail

From the outset, with the dedicated emails, it was obvious that great care and attention has been taken to ensure all guests have a comfortable stay. We loved the small touches, the local coffee beans, the water available without having to go to the supermarket, the snorkel sets individually sized, etc, etc. Thank you Frank for your consideration particularly for taking me to the pharmacy when my son was ill.

Everything you need with a wonderful host!

We could not have asked for more from this rental! The home was spacious, clean, well equipped, with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, and the views from the numerous balconies allowed for a 360° view of the beautiful Ghajnsielem, Gozo region. Our wonderful host, Frank, could not have been kinder or more helpful! Frank picked us up at the ferry terminal and drove us to the rental where he had prepared a few traditional Gozo snacks. After giving us a tour of the house and offering many options on what to do, where to go, and how to get around Gozo, Frank drove us to the grocery store to pick up a few supplies. Beyond Amazing

Our stay at this amazing seaview holiday home exceeded all of our expectations! Frank, the owner, was absolutely wonderful!! He picked us up at the ferry, welcomed us with milk,wine, beer, bread and fresh pastizzi. The home is outstanding. It really is. Frank had everything (and then some) that we needed. The location was perfect. Frank was the best host that we have ever had. The view from the terraces was breathtaking. We would recommend staying at Frank's beautiful home to everyone. It was one of the best experiences of our lives.

Everything was more than perfect!!!

We had a wonderful stay on Gozo. We have to thank the very beautiful house but also the wonderful landlord Frank. Frank has already before the arrival touching cared for us, gave tips on how to get there and then also greeted us very warmly with welcome snacks and lots of additional information about Gozo. The typical Maltese house is located with a beautiful sea view only 15 minutes walk from the harbor. Restaurants and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity. Lovely Ghajnsielem

I had been to Gozo many years ago and was pleasantly surprised to find it relatively unchanged. Particularly enjoyable was the swimming and snorkelling. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house which is spacious and comfortable - and I can still taste the lovely ripe nectarines bought from a travelling van which stops outside the house each day. Unfortunately our visit had to be cut short and our host Frank could not have been more helpful as we changed flights around and caught a 3.30 am. ferry. We hope to return.

A fantastic holiday

Dear Frank Thanks very much for your kind hospitality. The house was very spacious and well equipped and you were on hand for anything we needed. We had all the information we could possibly need before and during our stay. Around Gozo, we particularly enjoyed the coastal walk from Mgarr (turn right by Seaview restaurant) along to the Seafood restaurant in Mgarr ix-Xini. We had a fantastic lunch there and the walk was beautiful. We also very much enjoyed our trip to Comino and the Blue Lagoon. The weather was good, with a strong breeze, so it was good to have your advice on which beaches were best, given the wind direction. All in all, a fantastic holiday. Many thanks.

A holiday to remember!

We spent two weeks in Gozo at Mediterranea Seaview. The property had everything we needed, very spacious and clean. The view from the front terrace was wonderful, in fact we spent most evenings enjoying a drink whilst watching the ferry and boats between Malta, Comino and Gozo. We hired a car for 2 weeks which suited our needs however if you didn't want to do that the bus service is ideal to get around. We had only had a meal out once, the rest of the time we used the BBQ. Frank made us feel very welcome and provided us with everything we needed including lots of information about places to visit, in fact he couldn't do enough for us. This was the first time we had been to Malta/Gozo and we will most certainly be returning.

Spacious house close to harbour

The house is great, clean and spacious. It is spread over 3 floors, with a roof terrace above, so a lot of stairs to deal with, but the view from the roof is gorgeous, across to Malta and Camino. There are balconies and terraces everywhere, the master bedroom has it's own bathroom AND large terrace ( though the view from there is not so good as building works are currently going on right behind the house). Air con is good in the bedrooms but you have to keep emptying buckets of water that it produces. It is about 10-15 min walk to the harbour, steep hill though, with steps at one point, so can be hard work coming back. There are no real beaches within walking distance to the house; you can swim from very rocky areas if you are brave, but best to travel. Frank is next door and very helpful with local info. I would have liked a beach a bit nearer but that was my fault for not researching properly! It's a great location for getting around the island and for the ferries.

Fell in love with Gozo

Stayed during half term and apartment was fantastically equipped, clean and exactly as descibed. We didn't need to worry if it turned cold as catered for this too. Views fantastic. Frank was a superb host - with welcoming Gozitan spread - (we tried to recreate it at home but wasn't half as good), an enormous wealth of local knowledge and quick to sort any queries. The car hire and transfer to Malta that Frank booked for us was perfect. We came with 2 children and loved: Ramla, Azure Window, Inland Sea, Dwerja Tower, Ta Kola Windmill, Qbaijar Salt Pans, Xlendi Places to eat: St Lawrenz (a treat), Nadur (fantastic pizzas) Bellusa was where we relaxed in Victoria every day for drinks (including Kini) and pastizzis and very friendly owners. Would definetly recommend to friends.

Exploring Gozo

We have just returned from a 10 day stay in Gozo. We had a wonderful time, we booked this particular villa as the reviews were excellent, particularly regarding the host Frank and it did not disappoint. Frank was a fabulous host, from the time of booking until after we returned, his communication, advice and assistance was outstanding. His villa is immaculate and very welcoming with all the amenities you will need for your stay. With wonderful views over the local harbor, and a short walk down to all the bars and restaurants and a small beach at the end of the harbor for swimming and close to the ferry it was a great location. We explored Gozo on Frank’s bikes, some hired E bikes ( not cheap but great fun ) and buses which are very reliable, good value and air conditioned! We managed to see most of Gozo and also had a day out in Malta. I can highly recommend this villa and if we return this way will definitely stay again. Thanks again Frank for a fabulous time!!

Stay like a local

We stay at different VRBOs once or twice per year, and my teenagers said that this was their favorite. It had everything we needed (enough beds/bedrooms/bathrooms, a washer and dryer, clotheslines for wet swimsuits, bikes, wifi, snorkeling gear, linens and towels). The house is in the same town as the Gozo ferry terminal so it was convenient to get here from Malta. It's also within a block each way for two bus stops that will give access to the rest of the island. Frank made us feel right at home when we arrived and served as a trusted friend for the whole week. He gave us recommendations on the best places to swim, eat, and sight-see (and how to get there). He even helped us find a mail tube at the Malta Post Office to protect a souvenier poster that we bought. The house itself has three levels and balconies front and back so you can be outside in the shade morning and night. You'll feel like you moved into the neighborhood when you stay at this place.

Very peaceful home on a wonderful island.

From the initial contact with Frank, the experience has been very efficient from the booking to the transportation, the host was gracious and very welcoming. Frank is a sincere and generous host who provides the extra personal touches including a welcome lunch, and a thorough orientation to the island on arrival. He is an excellent ambassador for his beautiful home and island. We felt cared for – so at home, thank you. The house is spacious, clean and with everything we needed, including free Wi-Fi, beautiful views from the many balconies, peaceful and great to be in a typical Gozo home. The easy access to the bus and the use of the free bicycles allowed us to vacation "green" and enjoy not having to rely on a car. Nothing but a great vacation was experienced by all – I would definitely recommend Frank and his home on Gozo without hesitation. Many thanks.

Peace and Quiet

This has been a desperately needed holiday from all the pressures and stresses back in the UK. The Mediterranea and Frank's perceptive insight into our needs - we are not typical tourists who are active and want to see all the sights - have resulted in one of the most restful holidays that we have ever had. Our books, our music, good food and drink, WiFi and two wonderful , sun-soaked terraces have proved to be the perfect combination for our type of an ideal holiday. The slow pace of life, the friendliness of the Gozitans and the opportunity to do loads of nothing have made a Gozo a sure-five winner. Thanks to Frank's meticulous and efficient planning, everything has flowed perfectly from initial contact to arrival and during our stay. This is an incredibly well-equipped rental home so that self-catering feels like home from home - only with sun!! Gozo and Mediterranea are high our list for a return visit. Many thanks to Frank (and his mother).

Marvellous Holiday Home

Hands down, Frank was the best host ever! He simply took care of every single detail to make our stay in Gozo one of the most delightful summer holiday experiences we have ever had as a family. >From the very moment we reserved the holiday home, he gave us a very warmth welcome and provided so much valuable and useful pre-arrival information. Upon arrival to Gozo, he personally met us at the Ferry Terminal and drove us to the holiday home. We found the place very tidy, comfortable, spacious and superbly equipped with everything needed for a family group holiday. And he made our arrival even better with the home-made Gozitan Ftira, fresh bread and wine! The holiday home was very well located to cater for our needs; supermarket, small shops and some restaurants in the surroundings. Plus, it was a good starting point to explore the island flexibly with the kids. Again, we thank you very much, Frank. We certainly felt “home away from home”. And to those out there that might be interested in coming to Gozo, if you are looking for a good host, there is simply “no way” to go wrong with Frank! In the 8 months we have been on the road travelling our way from Australia to Europe, this is the first place we have felt truly at home. Malta and Gozo was a last minute decision to visit enroute to Greece and it was the best decision we have made yet! We absolutely love it here and what has made it even more special, Frank, is your beautiful home and wonderful hospitality. We have stayed in many accommodations around the world and Mediterranea Seaviews is by far the best we have stayed in and your hospitality and kindness has exceeded any other host. You have thought of everything your guest would need to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. The welcome lunch was a beautiful gesture, pickup and drop off from the ferry. Taking your time to sit with us and share your knowledge of Gozo, even the trip to the beach has made our stay all that more memorable. Our only regret is that we did not stay long enough, but it gives us an excuse to come back next year and spend much longer. To us this is the perfect escape and we have come to think of it as our second home. Thank you for everything Frank. You are an absolute star. See you next year!
