De villa ademt een sfeer van rust en ontspanning uit, die de unieke Balinese geest combineert met de hoogste mate van comfort. We hebben een paar heerlijke dagen gehad in Villa Pandu. Het ligt op een mooie plek zonder drukte of lawaai zodat je veel privacy hebt. Het huis is prachtig,schoon en mooi ingericht. Heel vriendelijk personeel en de dames kunnen fantastisch koken. Iedereen staat voor je klaar als je vragen hebt, ze doen alles om je te helpen. Wij komen zeker terug!

Genieten van begin tot eind

Een vakantie in Villa Pandu is een vakantie om niet snel te vergeten. De vriendelijkheid van het personeel, de snelheid waarmee van alles geregeld wordt, de rust die je er vind maakt het tot een waar paradijsje. De ervaring in de villa laat je bijna vergeten dat je je op een fantastisch eiland bevindt waar van alles te doen en te zien is. Je wilt zodra je door de voordeur naar binnen bent gekomen eigenlijk nergens meer naar toe. Je waant je voor de tijd dat je hier bent even koning en koningin, alleen dan zonder alle sores en rompslomp van de dagelijkse gang. De dames die ons dagelijks voorzagen van ontbijt, lunch en diner zijn erg vriendelijk en bereiden het eten zodanig, dat we niet eens de behoefte hebben gehad om buiten de deur te gaan eten. We hebben het één keer gedaan, maar de kwaliteit van het eten haalde het niet bij deze dames. De manager van het huis heeft alles prima onder controle. Komt dagelijks even kijken of alles goed gaat, maar blijft nooit te lang, en begrijpt dat je daar bent voor rust en privacy. Echter als er iets te regelen valt, dan heeft hij dat ook zo voor elkaar en kun je de volgende dag zorgeloos in de auto stappen en op weg gaan naar je gekozen activiteit. Het motto van deze man, "U moet zich hier thuis voelen, en het is beter dat wij op u wachten, dan wanneer u op ons moet wachten!". We hebben inderdaad nooit hoeven te wachten. Als er dan toch een minpuntje genoemd moet worden, dan is dat het strand wat direct aan de tuin grenst. In het noorden van Bali heeft men zwarte stranden. Deze nodigen niet uit om op te gaan liggen, en ze zijn overdag bloedheet. Echter, met het zwembad en de rustgelegenheden daar omheen van deze villa, heb je dat strand ook helemaal niet nodig. Je kunt aan het eind van de middag wel genieten van de mooiste zonsondergangen, al liggend op een heerlijk bed. Wij komen niet vaak terug naar een plaats waar we al eens geweest zijn, maar in dit geval zou er in de toekomst zomaar eens een uitzondering gemaakt kunnen gaan worden.

Fantastische villa

Wij zijn in villa Pandu geweest van 20 juli t/m 1 augustus met 7 personen, waaronder 5 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Het is een schitterende villa met mooie ruime slaapkamers en heerlijke buiten badkamers. Ook het zitgedeelte buiten is erg ruim van opzet en biedt meer dan voldoende plaats aan iedereen. De tuin is groot en ook bij het heerlijke zwembad zijn meer dan genoeg lig- en zitplaatsen. Je hebt vanuit het hele terras en tuin prachtig uitzicht op de zee. De twee meisjes die er werken, Itha en Desa zijn echt zo enorm vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ze kunnen heerlijk koken en doen er echt alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. De manager Budhi geeft hele goede tips wat betreft mooie uitjes naar de rijstvelden en tempels. Ook de tuinman en beveiliger begroeten je altijd met een praatje en een lach. Onze chauffeur Yus stond vooral garant voor humor. Ik kan deze villa ten zeerste aanbevelen! Wij hebben er echt een fantastische vakantie gehad, het was alleen jammer dat we weer naar huis toe moesten!

Fabulous Villa

We enjoyed a fabulous three days at Pandu Villa. The location is perfect, the villa was beautiful, as presented in the photo’s. The ladies Cadet and Ita were exceptional, prepared us wonderful meals. We can’t say enough about Darma our driver, he was exceptional, a wonderful driver, tour guide, and his English was very good. We highly recommend Villa Pandu!

North side bliss

We fully enjoy our stay. Etta and Kadek are fabulous cooks. Dharma drove us everywhere and made great suggestions. Budi our house manager was there if we needed anything The main issue we had were the wild dogs ….fighting most of the day and through some of the night. The coffee machine needs an update which we told the owners . It is a great place to relax. Also both ladies gave fantastic massages.

Spectacular Bali!

Our stay at Villa Pandu was wonderful! The staff Paul works with are top notch! Cadet and Ita are the kindest, welcoming ladies you could meet. They are fabulous cooks and both give fantastic massages. Dharma our driver went above and beyond. He helped us plan our daily itineraries and drove us all over the island. On our last night, the staff planned a birthday celebration for my friend complete with amazing food and a live music! Security and grounds maintenance was always reliable. Budi the manager was available whenever we needed. The only suggestion I would make is to clean up the beach area more often. It was done once while we were there. Lastly, Villa Pandu is located far from the touristy area in the south. But we chose this on purpose to be closer to "real Bali." The trade off is several very long car rides to see and do the things Bali has to offer. We felt the quiet slower pace and beauty of this area was worth the long trips. Plus, we now have "family" in Bali!

Lovely and attentive service

We were very well taken care of by the ladies of the Villa as well as by our driver and attentive manager. Their service and friendliness was excellent. We much enjoyed the beautiful garden and views of the Villa and to take a dip in the pool any time of day. That said, the Villa clearly needs some repair.

Es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Von der Abholung am Flughafen bis zur Rückreise. Da die Villa im Norden von Bali liegt, ist eine längere Fahrzeit vom Flughafen aus einzuplanen. Wir wurden direkt am Ausgang vom Fahrer empfangen. Die Villa ist sehr geräumig und in sehr ruhiger Lage mit direktem Zugang zum schwarzen Sandstrand. Alle Bilder sind korrekt und haben den aktuellen Zustand entsprochen. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und alle angesprochen Probleme wurden zeitgleich behoben. Der Fahrer stand 24h /7 Tage zur vollen Verfügung. Tagesausflüge wurden nach Absprache organisiert. Das zubereiten der Speisen wurde auch von den Mitarbeitern übernommen. Auch Sonderwünsche der Kids waren kein Problem. Sauberkeit ist uns sehr wichtig. Auch dies wurde ohne Probleme erfüllt. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurde regelmäßig gewechselt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und der Abschied fiel uns sehr schwer. Die Villa ist perfekt zum runterkommen, entschleunigen und relaxen. Abseits von allem Trubel. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Manager und dem Besitzer war stets zufriedenstellend. Wenn wir wieder in Bali sind werden wir definitiv in der Villa Pandu zu Gast sein.

Wonderful staff and owners very attentive

We just returned from 11 nights at the Villa Pandu. There was only 2 of us as my children could not make the trip. The Villa is very spacious both inside and out. The pool area is wonderful for early morning coffee as the sun rises over the trees at 7:15am. And wonderful sunset views from the pool each night was wonderful. I am an avid VRBO user and make it a point not To be too picky. A lot of it comes down to one’s own taste. The Pros: The driver: when you rent Villa Pandu you MUST book Dharma the driver. He is so much more than a “driver”. He speaks wonderful English, he is an amazing tour guide and best of all he is the most incredible person we could have ever met in Bali. My wife and I took him out from dinner to Bora Bora restaurant and spent 3 hours talking to him about everything Bali. I could go on and on about Dharma. Just Book him! The two ladies who cook and clean are also wonderful… Ita and Kadek are exceptional. They are At the Villa early each morning making breakfast, cleaning , shopping and then back for dinner and clean up. We did not have lunch as there was so much food. They are so sweet and try so hard to speak English. Only saw the Villa Manager once which was disappointing. But Dharma handled any issue we had including taking me to the Doctor for Bali belly and translating for me. If you are looking for a very quiet retreat away from the tourist masses this is the place. The owners were great at responding to any questions.

A nice retreat!

This was a nice place to stay. Unfortunately, it felt second on our trip after we were already blown away by the first place. The staff was incredibly nice and spoke English well enough for us to communicate easily. As you enter the Villa, you are greeted with a fantastic view from the front door out to the ocean, framed by large and full vegetation. The beach itself is a beautiful black sand beach. Unfortunately, a coal plant just north detracts from the beauty of the views, but only if you look that way. As you sit out on the beach, you can hear many different ceremonies and celebrations occuring throughout the day. The area also seems popular with locals, and you can see them enjoying the beach. The location is perfect for enjoying Bali's magnificent waterfalls. Our driver, Dharma, was very knowledgeable about the different attractions and welcomed some of the more challenging locations we asked him to take us to!

Amazing!!

My family and I enjoyed the stay in this beautiful villa. The water front view was stunning, the garden and pool were great too. But what really made this trip a huge success were these 2 cook ladies and Darma the driver. The ladies cooked very delicious meals for us (honestly, better than outside food), they were very nice and accommodating to our requests. Darma the driver did everything he can to make us enjoy every moment we spent there. He was always there we needed him, he suggested various activities for us and made us feel comfortable and welcomed at all times. Even my boys enjoyed talking with him about soccer and sports :) Also the communication with Melanie (the owner) was very smooth and she was always available to answer my questions. Thank you everyone for making this experience an extra ordinary. We hope to come back again in the future.

Un vrai petit paradis!

Villa très agréable, un personnel aux petits soins, idéal pour faire une pause et profitez de la somptueuse piscine! Dommage que la plage soit sale! Cela ne gâche pas le séjour mais la pollution d’un si bel endroit fait mal au cœur. Pour aller voir les dauphins, le staff organise une sortie en bateau, il vient nous chercher devant la maison, un bonheur!

Fantastic holidays in a quiet and relaxing place

Our family has spent fantastic two weeks, being taken care of by Ite, Katek, Dharma and Budi. What a great team to make sure you spend relaxing and memorable holidays - from maintaining clean house, cooking to going all around the island. Our family loved the time spent in the villa but also driving around Bali with Dharma. The beach is quiet and secluded, no crowds around at all. Gardens and pool are super well maintained. Our only wish was to stay a week longer. Or two. It was hard to leave, the stuff became part of family. The cats that leave in the garden - too. There is nothing impossible to be arranged, nothing too difficult for the staff. We wholeheartedly recommend holidays at Villa Pandu. Our daughters are already planning to come back.

Beautiful location - staff are incredible

Our stay was wonderful! The villa was spacious and immaculately clean. The pool was a welcome addition as the shore is a bit uncomfortable on the feet. The best part of the whole experience was definitely the staff!! Darma was our driver and essentially our personal tour guide. He listened to what we wanted to see and planned our whole day. Eta and Katuk were wonderful cooks, cleaned the villa, and even provided massages for my wife and I. The manager checked in with us each day to make sure our trip was going well. Simply a great property and a great place to relax!! Strongly recommend.

Retirees relaxation!

2 couples in our 60’s stayed 5 nights in this beautiful villa. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms - but kitchen area was a bit outdated ( not that it mattered to us as Ita and Desak did all the cooking for us! There’s no indoor sitting area other than the dining table, but there’s a fantastic outdoor living room which is very comfortable. The pool was wonderful and a perfect warm temperature . Great views out to the black sand beach and ocean. The gardener came by every morning to trim, rake dropped leaves and clean the pool - amazing! (There was some mossy mildew on some of the patio area which could use a power wash …. but hey - it’s Bali …. EVERYTHING thrives here!!!) Ita and Desak the housekeeper and cook were an absolute delight. Their English is good so we were able to communicate with them on menus. The dinners they prepared for us were some of the best meals we ate throughout Bali. Unfortunately we only met the manager Budi once as he was sick during our visit. Now to our driver - Darma! If Paul and Melanie offer you a private car with driver …… Take them up on this offer. Darma was fantastic- his English is excellent ( he even teaches the children in the village to speak English ). You do need a car in this area - it’s quite remote - 15 minutes drive to the closest town and grocery stores, 10 minute drive to the closest restaurant. Darma drove us to many beautiful waterfalls in the area, along with some other local places of interest . ⭐

More than a house.

Villa Pardu is a roomy four bedroom home with a large, comfy and well appointed patio, built-in pool and lovely landscaping which is situated on a black sand beach. During the day the house is open to the soft ocean breezes and gentle sounds of the waves upon the beach. But there’s more. The staff at the Villa are so amazing that they make the 24 hour plane ride worth the trip. Darma the driver/guide is so knowledgeable about everything Bali that we needed only to tell him the kinds of things we like or were interested in and he put together a daily adventure to Temples, waterfalls, batik artists, coffee farms, chocolate factory, dolphin viewing and for one of us, a sunrise volcano climb and more. Ita, the Villa cook, prepared the best and most beautifully presented meals we had in Bali. We are not big meat eaters, so every meal Ita served was a riot of colors and textures so lovely we couldn’t wait to see what she would create next. Desak, the Villa housekeeper, is so helpful, ask for something and it’s done. She is so sweet and gentle that it is a joy to have her around. The pool and grounds are kept beautifully, the pool is cleaned and vacuumed each morning. Even if you never left the Villa the staff is so helpful and accommodating that you would have a wonderful time. The hosts were responsive to our questions and Budi, the property manager, took care of things that needed repair immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Marvelous stay

We had spent great holidays. The villa is wonderful, quiet and peaceful with a nice swimming pool. The personnel is absolutly wonderful. Thank you to our driver who was a perfect guide. We discovered a lot of things wiht him about culture, temples; rice fields and life in general. We met a lot of interesting people and discovered so many places. Thank you to kitchen ladies, Marvelous cooks and nice persons. The food they prepared for us every days were absolutly gorgious. We recommand this villa for the beauty of the place and for the very very nice personnel. Veronica and Peter

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé 5 nuits à la villa Pandu. Et nous sommes ravis. Le cadre est idéal, conforme à ce que nous attendions. Le personnel de la villa est au petits soins. Tous les repas étaient délicieux, préparés pas des cuisinières qui nous ont régalés. Le tout pour une somme dérisoire. Nous avions opté pour l’option « voiture et chauffeur » Dharma nous a concocté chaque jour un programme différent selon nos envies, nous avons eu énormément de plaisir à partager du temps avec lui. Nous sommes pleinement satisfait de notre séjour. Merci à tous Pascale, pascal, François et Céline

One word BRILLIANT

From the initial booking Paul and Melanie were excellent answering any queries quickly. The villa lived up to expectation's and more, my wife and I for the first time ever said we could happily live there. The ladies Ita & Desak who cooked and cleaned the villa for us were marvellous and so nice, a pleasure to be around. A vehicle to get around is a must and we hired the villa vehicle and driver Dharma what a brilliant move that was he is amazing and a real friend by the end of our trip. (Ps if you book him he loves Chelsea if you have any souvenir's to take) Dharma sat down with us on day one and gave us a whole itinerary to choose from if we wished. He had local knowledge and could get better priced deals for us. He took us to some fantastic restaurants one near the end of our holiday specially for the sunset. White Sands Beach Club was great as well, the list goes on. He managed to get me a round of golf as well! Little nuggets of info for you. The villa has a water dispenser with the big drums of water on. Chilled, normal or hot from it for coffee etc. Lots of ATM's Dharma can take you too You give the girls money to buy your food, water comes out of that as well. Tradition you give them all a tip as you leave 6 staff Paul can advise as I am running out of characters on the review. To sum up just brilliant, Paul & Melanie your staff are a credit to you. We travelled with our adult son's and partner we all had a wonderful time and could not recommend the villa more.

Relaxation heaven!

Villa Pandu is the perfect getaway location to enjoy north Bali - the villa is clean, beautifully furnished and the garden and pool are a delight to spend time in. The accommodating and friendly staff take a holiday here to the next level. Our huge thanks to Dharma, our warm, smiling and knowledgeable driver, and to Ita and Desak, who looked after us so kindly with their delicious meals - and those daily massages! I sincerely hope to be back one day!
