Villa Melanie is een van de weinige luxe privévilla's in de rustige en gewilde wijk Krana van Lindos, op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het dorpsplein van Lindos. De villa heeft GRATIS WIFI. De villa heeft een eigen goed gevulde tuin met palmen, exotische planten en fruitbomen en heeft gratis toegang tot een aantal gedeelde zwembaden waar iedereen welkom is. De villa beschikt ook over een enorme traditionele barbecue en een zithoek met een verscheidenheid aan tuinmeubelen waar gasten kunnen ontspannen en genieten, waaronder vier ligstoelen en twee comfortabele buitenbanken op de patio. Een goed gevulde mini-markt ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van de villa. Villa Melanie is een van de weinige luxe villa's die zo dicht bij het dorp Lindos liggen, waar autoverhuur een optie is in plaats van een noodzaak. De villa biedt ook uitzicht op zee ...... Moderne gemakken maken uw verblijf een thuis weg van huis. Griekse toeristenvergunning goedgekeurd. EOT-licentie 1476K100A0390401. Aankomsttijden van gasten zijn zestien en moeten verlaten om 11 uur op de dag van vertrek. We zullen echter ons best doen om soepeler te zijn met deze tijden afhankelijk van de inkomende aankomsten.
De villa is gelegen in het Krana-gebied van Lindos en is een rustige wandeling van 10 minuten naar het Lindos-plein en nog eens 5 minuten naar de 3 stranden. Het Krana-gebied heeft een aantal laagbouwappartementencomplexen die alle niet-gasten toestaan en verwelkomen om gratis gebruik te maken van hun zwembaden en faciliteiten, inclusief gratis gebruik van hun ligbedden. Krana Square beschikt ook over Lindos Ice Bar, Restaurant en Lounge .... op slechts 5 minuten lopen van de villa. We raden dit ten zeerste aan voor lekker eten, cocktails en biedt grote schermen voor sportevenementen. Twee supermarkten bevinden zich in de buurt ..... de dichtstbijzijnde op slechts 2 minuten lopen van de villa.
Houd er rekening mee dat de beveiligingskluis die we bieden, samen met WiFi en airconditioning, is inbegrepen in de prijs van het verblijf ... voor deze services zijn geen extra betalingen vereist. Een Netflix-account is ook beschikbaar om te gebruiken.
Wij bieden alle benodigdheden inclusief strijkijzers en strijkplank, föhn, volledige koelkast met vriesvak, magnetron, volledige oven en kookplaat, tosti-ijzer, filterkoffiemachine, enz. De wasmachine is ook beschikbaar indien nodig.

Holiday for my niece’s wedding

Gorgeous villa with everything we needed for our stay . Short walk to numerous pool bars where we were made very welcome and not too far to walk into Lindos or to the beach - perfect !

Small villa with a beautiful garden at a perfect location

Two-bedroom house with a large living/eating room and a kitchenette and a beautiful garden – just like described and shown on the pictures. There are lots of different spots in the garden to spend some hours which we enjoyed each morning and evening. Communication with the owners was very easy, always friendly and helpful. Location of the villa has just the right distance to Lindos town – far enough not to be affected by traffic but within walking distance (about 12 min walk). From our point of view Lindos is anyhow the nicest town on the island with lots of possibilities to eat, shop or relax at the beach. Staying directly in Lindos gives you also the possibility to experience the much calmer evening hours without the crowds of tourists during the daytime. Furthermore, with a rental car basically all spots on the island are reachable with a 1h drive.

Belle maison avec un beau jardin

Belle maison, spacieuse, bien entretenue. Un jardin tres agréable. Tres bon emplacement qui permet de sillonner sur l'ensemble de l'ile. Acces possible a la piscine de l'hotel Rafael, où nous avons eté tres bien accueillis, en contrepartie nous avons pris une consammation.

Schöner Urlaub in toller Umgebung

Meine Freundinnen und ich haben hier eine wunderschöne Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und der Garten ist einfach toll. Die Lage ist sehr gut, da man nur wenige Meter von dem Supermarkt entfernt wohnt und Lindos sowie die Stände sind schnell erreichbar sind. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Lovely house with an amazing garden

Great house in a convenient location with everything you need. The garden is gorgeous. We made good use of the free swimming pools around the corner and walked to Lindos village/ beach pretty much every day - it only takes 20 mins though it is a steep hill back up and often rammed with traffic. We also used the bus to get to Rhodes town and around without issue. Highly recommend this house for a relaxing break in beautiful Lindos.

Three weeks of bliss.

The owners were there to meet us and could not have been more welcoming despite it being after midnight!. All the comforts of home were provided including much appreciated welcome items. The indoor space is generous and comfortable with lots of personal touches which could not fail to generate a smile. The outdoor space is wonderful and with access to a beautiful pool in the nearby hotel this Villa truly provides an excellent base for a relaxing holiday. Mel and Steve did a remarkable job in these Covid times in preparing the Villa for our stay. Thank you to you both your efforts were much appreciated.We hope to visit again next year.

Fun times in Lindos

A wonderful stay - couldn't beat the weather and the house was very convenient. An easy 10-15 minute walk either to the beach or to the center of Lindos. Very nice garden and terrace for outdoor relaxation and morning coffee. We couldn't get into the WIFI, but that may have been our problem.

We stayed here from 25th Sept to 5th oct 2019 and was amazing from start to finish. Beautiful villa, very helpful and always available hosts and great views. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit lindos. Will hopefully be back asap.

Great location, great property, great hosts.

Villa is clean and spacious with a great outdoor area. We walked to the village and beach but got a taxi back on most occasions only due to the hill and a sore foot! Entertainment is close by if you want it in neighbouring complexes.Mel and steve were great hosts and the local contact lady popped by to make sure we were ok.

Comfortable, well equipped villa

We were three adults staying for a week at Villa Melanie. The house had everything we needed and the garden was a quiet oasis with plenty of chairs and a couple of sun beds plus a barbecue area. The walk into the village was no problem, but on a couple of evenings we did take a taxi back which only cost 5 euros. Mel was a great host and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful Villa in Perfect Location

We were fortunate enough to spend a week in Villa Melanie. We are so pleased to have found this little gem! The Villa has all the home comforts, with two spacious bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen/diner/lounge. The property is clean well maintained and set in a large well furnished garden with beautiful established plants. The Villa is within 10 minutes walk of the quaint village of Lindos with its many excellent restaurants and intimate bars. We love Kamriko's restaurant which is towards the top of the village's Main Street. Our favourite bars are, Crazy Moon (up a side street, just of the Main Street) and lindian House, facing Kamriko's. We hire a car as we like to explore the Island but there is a regular bus service from the main road, 5 minutes away. The owners Mel and Steve are two of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of dealing with. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They provided excellent information both before and during our stay. We would highly recommend Villa Melanie and look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Highly recommended

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Villa Melanie. The property is ideally located in a quiet part of Lindos yet only a short walk from the village centre. It is spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished and has a huge outside area in which to relax and enjoy the Greek sunshine. The owners were extremely helpful both before and during our holiday - nothing was too much trouble. We used a number of the local pools, our favourite being Waterside. There are many rooftop restaurants in Lindos which command magnificent views and be sure to stop at one of the many creperies! A trip to the Acropolis is a must - but set out early, particularly in the hot summer months! We also enjoyed days out in Monolithos, Tsambika, Rhodes Town and The Valley of the Butterflies. The glass bottom boat trip is also a fantastic way to see some of the magnificent coastline. We cannot recommend Villa Melanie highly enough and hope to return in the future.

Beautiful, spacious villa

Villa Melani is real value for money accommodation for families and/or groups. The villa is clean and spacious with lots of outdoor space and number of outdoor seating areas, including a barbecue! The decor is modern and airy, with lots of lovely decorative touches, including paintings of Lindos itself. We were so overjoyed with how 'posh' it was and think that the owner's could definitely charge more! There is everything you could possibly need, including an eclectic mix of family friendly DVDs and CDs and a full range of kitchen equipment- should you want to cook! We were most impressed by Steve and Melanie’s attentive emails/texts, checking we were happy. E-mails were answered promptly and efficiently. We arrived at 11.30pm [ taxi from the airport arranged for us] to some milk and orange juice in the fridge and a welcome bottle of local wine, which we made good use of. Although the Villa has two bedrooms [ 1 double and 1 twin], Steve and Melanie were happy to put up another bed downstairs for our 12 year old, with whom my teenage daughter didn’t want to share a room. The living room is so spacious that we barely noticed the bed. Do not be put off by the lack of a pool. We could have used any of the local apartment complexes’ pools; although we made most use of the ‘Waterside’ pool where there were always sunbeds free; friendly staff and lots of inflatables to amuse the kids. This pool was less than 5 minutes walk away and the local supermarket almost next door. The villa is well located. We walked into Lindos and back every evening [ 15 minutes at the most] and it really wasn’t that much of an effort up the hill, even with my husband’s dodgy knees! For a week at the end of July for two adults, a 12 and 15 year old, we paid a similar amount for flights and accommodation as did my friends who were all crammed into a family room in a nearby apartment block. Our kids had their own space; as did we, and we would not hesitate to recommend this lovely spacious villa to anyone. We enjoyed a variety of activities over the week. There is a small travel agency in the village where we booked a 'Lazy Day' cruise- all day boat cruise round the local coast line with 5 swim stops and including lunch. We also went to the local waterpark in Faliraki- there is a free bus from the Flora supermarket [ 5 mins walk] although it gets very busy ; so you should be prepared to stand. Alternatively; a seat can be guaranteed by booking transfers from the travel agency

A cut above the rest

HIgh standard, well equipped accomodation. Villa Melanie had everything we needed for our one week stay. In a quite part of Lindos away from main town but only pleasant 15 min downhill walk (4 euro taxi back). Pictures don't don't do Villa justice as gardens now well established and look so good, lovely sunbed area. Best part of Villa is fab terrace area with large dining table and great sofa area for soaking up all the sun, even better with a G & T containing fresh lime from adjacent tree! No problems using pool at nearby Eleni or Athena accommodations (3 min walk, just bought drinks there). Overall outstanding accomodation offering great value, would have no hesitation recommending.

excellent location

Villa Melanie, was in a great location, within walking distance of lindos(very rare), villa in quiet residential area, only donkeys for comapny. Villa clean well equipped, and mel couldnt have been more attentive, checking we were ok and had everything we needed, even got us an ipod docking station. April was a great time to visit, lindos nice and quiet but still plent of restaurants open. Would definatly reccomend the villa and would love to visit again. pictures didnt really do it justice.
