Villa met verwarmd privézwembad en uitzicht op zee

Casa Joja is een mooi einde van Luz Bay huis en is ideaal voor een feest van 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Het is gelegen in een rustige doodlopende straat in het centrum van Luz Village en ligt op slechts een paar minuten lopen van het strand, restaurants en supermarkten. Het zwembad kan indien nodig worden verwarmd (extra kosten overeen te komen). Het heeft 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. De grote slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed en een grote badkamer, terwijl de middelste blauwe kamer twee aparte bedden heeft. De derde slaapkamer heeft ook twee eenpersoonsbedden. Alle slaapkamers hebben inbouwkasten. Een kluis met code kan ook worden gebruikt. . De trap naar de grote zithoek heeft ter plaatse een traphekje, het eetgedeelte biedt plaats aan maximaal 10 personen (uitschuifbare tafel). Het huis heeft een grote moderne, goed uitgeruste keuken en een open woonkamer die leidt naar een terras met grote tafel en stoelen en een prachtig uitzicht over het strand van Luz.

Le logement est agréable et bien situé. Les renseignements fournis pour la localisation sont clairs et précis. Le logement est propre et bien équipé. La piscine est agréable, pas très grande mais suffisante avec un plus pour les équipements fournis (jeux d'eau, bouée,...) . Le seul petit bémol serait la qualité des matelas ( mais cela est très personnel) et le fait d'entendre les voisins dans les chambres s'ils sont bruyants. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un logement très agréable que je recommenderais sans problème.

Location! Location! Location!

Villa Joja is quietly situated but amazingly only 5 minutes walk from everything that Praia da Luz has to offer. It was our first visit and we thoroughly appreciated the variety and quality of local bars and restaurants. The villa is very well equipped and was exceptionally clean. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the upper terrace which has lovely sea views. It was an exceptionally relaxing and stress-free holiday. Thank you James and Janet

Great location

Can’t beat the location. Just minutes to beach, grocery and several restaurants. We had an issue with the grill which was replaced within 24 hours! Thanks, we’ll be back for sure!

A wonderful dose of sand, sea and sunshine.

A short stroll from a lovely beach that was perfect for our granddaughters, aged 2 & 4. Delightful accommodation, fantastic early October weather (26C and sunshine every day), good village atmosphere and restaurants. Found the directions on how to get there confusing - just find Baptista Supermarket (easy with the SatNav) and it is 2 minutes walk away. Problems with the washing machine were sorted out quickly and efficiently. Many thanks for a relaxing and refreshing holiday.

Best villa

Having stayed in Luz numerous times, I have to say that this was the best villa for location and space that we have stayed in. 4 stars for accuracy of the villa in the pictures because it is much nicer in real life. Definitely follow the instructions on the site to find the villa- google maps sent us in the wrong direction. Villa was spotless and the pool was great fun (definitely get it heated if you’re going at this time of year). Literally only a five minute walk to the front (and that’s with me on a crutch and having to walk slowly). Thank you so much for having us!

Superb family holiday

Efficient extremely helpful manager and owner and maid. Location is fabulous, close to the sea with a relaxing and inviting sea view. Quiet area, well resourced villa with comfortable beds. Door blinds keep rooms cool but also dark during the evening. We all adored the well maintained pool, particularly during the heat wave.

Amazing Villa in amazing location

We had a fabulous week at the villa - family of 5. It is spacious and well equiped and very comfortable. It has an amazing view of the sea from the terrace which is not obvious from the photos - we arrived at night and when we opened the shutters in the morning we were amazed. Location could not be better, a quite neighbourhood but right by great restaurants, the supermarket and a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Couldn't recommend more.

We had a great time in the villa. Good sized rooms / beds / pool. Excellent location, so close to the beach and also to the bus route if looking to travel. Shops also close by.

Great villa with welcome pool

We had a great Stay at Casa Joja, the weather was fantastic and being so close to the beach was very convenient. The small but very nice pool in the back garden was most welcome in the extremely warm weather. We had an issue with one of the fans (no actual air con but fans were effective) and this was resolved very quickly. We also needed to leave our bags before our later flight on the last day and this was no problem for the hosts which was appreciated. One thing that would have been helpful was a small welcpme pack ... perhaps some water and milk in the fridge, tea and coffee, oil and salt/pepper for cooking. This could even be offered as an extra and would make a real difference especially when arriving late. Overall a great stay tho!

Great villa

Lovely villa in a great location, stayed in Luz many times. Quiet area and lovely to have the pool. A few things could be updated in the villa, toilet seat especially. The only real complaint was the bed in the master room, one of the most uncomfortable things we have slept in, definitely needs changing.

Tolles Haus in Praia da Luz

Wir haben 11 schöne Tage im Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist besser als die Bilder der Anzeige es wiedergeben. Wenn erforderlich haben die Gastgeber schnell reagiert und geholfen. Ruhige Lage, schnell am Strand und kurzer Weg zu 2 Supermärkten. Nach 6 Tagen wurde für uns überraschend das Haus gereinigt, Bettwäsche und Hsndtücher gewechselt. Pool sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Great stay

To make it short: A lovely house, a warm pool, a great surrounding with view to the sea. Hot water was off ion a sunday. James came after 10 minutes and fixed it. Our children loved the 2 levels. Like us :-))

Perfect location

Having stayed in Luz previously this has to be in the best location yet. We stayed as a family of 4 which included our 2 young children aged 6 and 8. The fact that we could walk to the beach/restaurants/supermarkets without any complaints from the little ones was a god send. The villa itself is very well equipped and had everything we needed to make it a perfect stay. One thing that did become very apparent when we arrived was that the photographs do not do this place justice! It’s much bigger and brighter than the photos lead to you believe. Communication with the villa owners was fantastic and they were incredibly helpful, I would not hesitate to return to Casa Joja!

Luz getaway

We really enjoyed the cleaning lady service as We didn’t realize we had that. The patio chairs were okay but could be replaced. We enjoyed the pool and used the cover to keep the water warm. The location was beautiful and we all had a great time. Neither transport company could find our guests returning to Faro. Jane arranged for our families pickup and they were 45 min late as they couldn’t find the property. Just letting you know for future guests.

We have been coming to Praia da Luz since the 1980's. We decided to buy the property in 2002 for family holidays and have remained there ever since. Our children have learnt to play tennis and had surf lessons and hoping to have a go at golf soon!
