Great holiday but villa needs TLC
We had a wonderful family holiday at the villa. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
During the day the spaces we made most use of and enjoyed were the covered dining area overlooking the pool and the pool area itself. The barbeque shown in the photographs was no longer there and the water in the pool had a green tinge to it ,until the pool maintenance people came, five days after our arrival.
The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. The sitting-room was extremely comfortable with a good television (Netflix and Amazon) to relax in at the very end of the day. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and accommodating with plenty of storage. The terrace upstairs afforded good views over the surrounding area and the sea. The gardens were well maintained, although we were a little alarmed to see, on arrival, an ancient wheelbarrow propped up against a palm tree and the frame of an old pushchair outside the laundry room. Laundry facilities were good as was the parking and general security.
What was a bugbear was the general standard of decoration. We could clearly see, both inside and out, areas where the painting had been started, but not completed. The railings around the outside dining area, bordering the pool. were corroded and rusty.
Overall, we had a great holiday, but for this villa to be called truly "luxury", it needs work and TLC.
