*** Country house BANDITELLO ***
6 p., 130 m2. The original building dates back to the first half of the 20th century and was restored in 1999 according to the Tuscan tradition and furnished with furniture from the owner's family. It enjoys a wonderful view to the south and west with a large garden for sitting outside.
The three entrance ground floor, with French windows to the garden, consists of three rooms plus a small toilet.
A brightly and well-equipped kitchen-dining (gas machine with oven, fridge, dishwasher, fire place-barbecue), with storeroom besides. The two room lounge are furnished with custom-made sofas and armchairs, owners' family furniture and paintings, and a beautiful stone fireplace.
A stone staircase leads to the first floor with three bedrooms and a dressing room. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and a bathroom-bathtub. Panoramic view of Montepulciano.
The other two have, each, 2 single beds, which can also be joined, and share a bathroom-shower.
Wrought iron beds, old rustic furniture, small wooden toilet mirrors, doors and in wall-wardrobes recall Tuscan country tradition. The house is airy and bright all day long. Panoramic garden equipped with chaises-longues and iron-made chairs and table to dine outside.
The house is fully equipped for six. Barbecuing in the kitchen (wood is available), drinkable water from public utility, instant hot water, dish washing and central heating. Baby cots and high chairs. Mosquito nets to all windows. High speed WiFi.
*** THE PLACE***
Casa BANDITELLO is one of the 2 stone houses that are part of the Capanne di Sopra estate. Although close, their arrangement allows a totally autonomous stay.
The site is located 1.3 km from Montefollonico and 7 km from Montepulciano, in a secluded and panoramic position, with a wide view of the Montepulciano valley, the temple of San Biagio, the summit of Monte Amiata and the hills of the Val d'Orcia .
To preserve the rural character we have chosen not to have a swimming pool.
In the property there are 4 cats, with adequate shelter, well cared for and under veterinary supervision.
About 400 meters from the provincial road, the house is accessible only through a private dirt road in an environment of peaceful Tuscan countryside, with olive groves, vineyards and woods.

*** FOR YOUR ACTIVITIES ***
You will be in the middle of a region with sites of great historical and artistic interest: Montepulciano, Pienza and the Val d'Orcia (UNESCO World Heritage List), San Quirico, Cortona, Chiusi, Monte San Sanvino, Asciano, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, and Lake Trasimeno. Everyone is within an hour and a half of driving, at most.
The closest thermal baths and spas are in S. Albino (7 km), Sarteano (15 km), Bagno Vignoni (16 km), Bagni San Filippo (20 km), Rapolano (20 km). In no more than half an hour's drive you will find public swimming pools in Montepulciano Stazione, S. Albino, Bettolle, Trequanda, Chianciano, Sarteano.
