Dining place, master bedroom, living / bedroom and a spacious bright bathroom. Large south-facing balcony with views of greenery.
Located in a charming, picturesque street in the upcoming 'from harbour industry to creative breeding place' district Noord. The Guardian wrote an article, search for 'Guardian' & 'Nieuwendammerdijk'. Composed with antique, vintage and modern elements we tried to create an eclectic, cosy and personal interior. The house itself is detached and was built in 1912 by the famous shipbuilder-family de Vries Lentsch.
Via the stairs you enter the 1st floor with a large connecting passage, dining table and Nespresso machine, sandwichmaker.
The master bedroom facing the Nieuwendammerdijk has a comfortable double bed. In the spacious living / second bedroom the pull-out coach is easily transformed into a comfi double bed. The room has a TV and enters a large south-facing balcony overlooking gardens and our oldest city park 'het Vliegenbos'.
The comfortable bright bathroom has a bathtub, open shower, washbasin and toilet. It is new with a heated raw concrete floor and a large window with view on the green. Clean towels are provided.
The main entrance enters the hallway. Behind one of the doors the stairs (16 steps) lead you to the fully self-contained apartment.
Nearby is a professional laundry service. You can also use the laundry of the house which costs a small fee.
There is free WiFi.
Don't serve breakfast. Basics like coffee, tea, toppings like peanut butter and chocolate spread are provided. Any special requirements, please let me know.
For babies there's a high chair and foldable crib with bedding.
Living on the ground floor & basement I'll be happy to help you to provide you extra service where needed to make the most of your Amsterdam stay.
