De locatie van dit appartement is ongeëvenaard in Lissabon: in de Bairro Alto, de meest culturele en Boheemse wijk van Lissabon, een oude en pittoreske wijk, die een buitengewone Boheemse cultuur met traditionele handel weerspiegelt en sinds de jaren 80 het meest bekende gebied van centraal Lissabon, met restaurants, traditionele tavernes, bistro's, discotheken, fadohuizen en kunstgalerijen, talrijke bars en nachtclubs tot onbeschrijflijke drukte, van 19.00 tot 02.00 uur. Het is de ideale plek voor een leuke vakantie, dicht bij alles en iedereen. De stranden liggen op 25 minuten van het centrum van Lissabon. Fabulous apartment and host
Apartment was exactly as described impeccably clean stylish and in the heart of Barrio Alto loads of local good bars and restaurants and perfect location to explore Lisbon. Joao is a wonderful host has thought of everything and the terrace was beautiful shape we couldn’t make the most of it due to some rainy weather.

Great location, excellent host, wonderful well stocked apartment! Only 2 comments that were short of perfection. You must walk up and down 2 flights of stairs on every journey. Good exercise! The street noise was bothersome, bring earplugs. Overall,loved it!

Great place, clear instructions, Juao is a great host. Know two things: Fri, Sat, and Sun will be noisy, there is a restaurant bar downstairs, but excellent soundproofing keeps out most of the noise; and the stairs are steep for those less abled. Otherwise excellent.

First off, Joao is a wonderful host, very attentive and helpful. He provided many suggested activities, restaurants, and music. Great location, easy walking distance to top attractions and restaurants. Unit was clean & had all the updated amenities you need. Great stay!

Nice apartment, but very loud neighborhood.
Joao greeted us upon our arrival and provided information regarding the apartment and the Barrio Alto area. The apartment itself was very spacious and nice especially the lovely terrace. It’s located on one of the main streets in the Barrio Alto area. There is a bar right below the apartment that plays extremely loud techno music with a very heavy base until 3:00am. If you look outside the apartment windows, you’ll see tons of people standing in the street partying loudly. It might be the perfect location if that is what you’re looking for, however for us it was just too loud and we couldn’t sleep even with earplugs in. We left early and continued to explore Lisbon from a hotel.

Comfortable apartment in perfect location
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location was great, walkable to many places and easy access to public transportation. The terrace was great for relaxing. There are restaurants right downstairs and on the streets nearby. I could hear the music from the bar on the ground floor but it wasn’t loud enough to keep me awake. Same with street noise. Joao was very easy to communicate with and provided lots of information to improve my stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city. Surrounded by lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Train and tram links all within easy walking distance. Apartment was spotless, just as described, the lovely terrace was fantastic to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to return!! Thanks Joao👍

Cet appartement situé dans le quartier gai de Lisbonne Bairro Alto est fonctionnel et rénové avec goût. Heureusement, l’insonorisation a été améliorée car, il est situé au-dessus d’un restaurant-bar fort occupé jusque tard dans la nuit. Personnellement, nous avons grandement apprécié y demeurer. Nous prenons soin de de souligner aussi, l’accueil exceptionnel et les informations fournies par João le propriétaire.

We had a great stay in João’s apartment. It was a perfect home base for our 5 nights in Lisbon. It is located in a neighbourhood that is very busy at night but with the windows closed and fans on we never had any problem sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked, we bought groceries and cooked breakfast at the apartment every morning. Lots of good restaurants nearby and easy walk to city centre. João had a bottle wine chilling for us when we arrived which was a lovely treat! I highly recommend João’s place!

Wohnung im Herzen von Bairro Alto
Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr schönen Gegend. Als Ausgangspunkt zu täglichen Ausflügen perfekt. Den Abend kann man hier gemütlich in der Bar im Haus ausklingen lassen. Auch mit offenem Fenster und der guten Musik aus der Bar haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Für uns war der Trubel in den Gassen nachts kein Problem. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man hat alles, was man braucht. João als Gastgeber ist toll und wir freuen uns auf ein Wiederkommen.

Our stay was great. The property was exactly as promised. You would have to keep in mind that the Bairro Alto area is very busy on Friday and Saturday with nightlife. The apartment does a very good job at muffling the sound. The host was very helpful and conscientious. The are makes it very easy to access all the sites.

Fabulous Rental In Bairro Alto
My wife and I had an awesome time in Lisbon. The apartment was perfect for us. Excellent location with a myriad of restaurants and bars to choose from. The outdoor terrace was ideal. Joao keeps the apartment immaculate. We picked up sushi at the Cafe Dozo across the street often and ate at Valdo Gatti (italian) three times. Both places were excellent. There were three Irish pubs close by. Cheers has live music. The Lumi rooftop bar was also excellent. We walked to Chiado and Baixa and the riverfront on multiple days. We would not hesitate to recommend this place and would stay here again. It was a great find and excellent value.

Great apartment, well located to reach all sights and attractions, 10 mins walk to Rossio Station. The balcony was great to relax on with a glass of wine after a busy day and the apartment was well equipped. Will definitely be back.

Great location, great apartment
We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The location could not be better, right in the centre of Biarro Alto and Chiado. Comfortable and clean place to stay, and just step outside to a plethora of choices of restaurants, bars and things to do right on your doorstep. Spoilt for choice ! Loved it. Highly recommended.
