Het appartement is gelegen op de begane grond chalet in het dorp Bossons, 2.5 km van het centrum van Chamonix.

A home away from home

The Ravanel's deliver true Chamonaird hospitality! They were kind and provided all the needed transport and local information.The place is rustic and traditional. It has all the things you need to feel at home. The Ravanel's can help you with information about guides (I believe one of their son's is part of the Companie Des Guides) and where to ski etc.We would definitely stay again when we come back!!

This was a beautiful property. The location was a little out of town but worked great for us. It was lovely to have space to dry out our ski gear out. The hosts were beyond helpful.

Nice spot just outside town

Overall great experience. The apartment has easy access to public transit (two busses and a train) that bring you into Chamonix center and all the ski areas in the valley. Host was super friendly and picked us up from the bus stop with all our ski gear when we arrived in Chamonix. Great views of the mont blanc and the Aiguille du Midi too!

Great hosts in oldy worldy chalet

Old fashioned flat in on the ground floor of this original chalet in les Bossons. Well equipped kitchen and dining area. No lounging area, if there are 3 of you.The owners are very accommodating and pictures up from the station and even stopped at the supermarket to stock up before taking us to the chalet, which was very k

An unforgettable stay – truly the best experience I’ve ever had

As a frequent traveler who has visited over 30 countries, I can confidently say this was the best experience I’ve ever had with a vacation rental. I arrived in Chamonix at 9 PM, expecting to call a taxi, but the host kindly reached out and offered to pick us up from the bus station—such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel welcomed.When we arrived at the house, the hostess greeted us warmly and took the time to introduce us to both the property and the town, including how to navigate the local bus system. The home itself was cozy, beautifully maintained, and perfectly clean. Located right at the foot of Mont Blanc, we woke up every morning to stunning mountain views.The hostess also generously offered to do our laundry using her washing machine, and when she returned the clothes, they were neatly folded—such attention to detail!The location is excellent—just a short walk to both Bus 1 and Bus 2 stops, which take you directly to the ski resorts. The home and the hospitality both exceeded our expectations. I would rate everything a perfect 10/10!

Excellent ski location

The gracious host welcomed us and showed us around even though we arrived very late.The location is excellent for skiing the area, a short drive to a few different base areas (7-10 minutes).Terrific value given the location.During our stay the old fridge/freezer did not work properly, but I'm sure the attentive host will correct that. We only brought it to her attention near the end of our stay.For two of us the main double bed was small but comfortable. The second bed for our adult son creaked. Pillows were thin. Unfortunately, the wifi signal was weak and unreliable. Streaming is not possible in the kitchen where the tv is located. These issues did not detract from the good value and location, for us.

Excellent chalet and host

Jean Pierre and his wife were amazing hosts who went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. The chalet is very well equipped and ideally located for Chamonix and the valley, walks, runs, cycling, skiing and any sort of outdoor activity. There are two supermarkets, restaurants and bus/train stops close by but it’s not far to walk into Central Chamonix along the river. Highly recommend staying with Jean Pierre and his wife. Thank you.

2 weeks in chamonix!!

Great location very easy to get around the valley! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and provided us with passes to the train and bus for the entirety of our stay. They also picked us up from the bus stop when we got there and dropped us off at the train station when we left. They were very flexible with our check in and checkout times and tried their best to accommodate. However, they spoke zero English which made communicating and asking questions pretty difficult. There was Wi-Fi but it was very spotty and unreliable. There was also barely enough hot water for 1 shower per day and 0 if we did the dishes. The problems didn’t affect our stay that much and overall we were very happy, but the property was definitely more suited for 1 or 2 people.
