Dit prachtige landhuis, ligt op 35 km ten noorden van Rome, in een prachtig gebied genaamd Sabina, bekend om zijn extra vergine olijfolie. De villa, in het centrum van een landgoed van 30 hectare en wordt omringd door wijngaarden en eeuwenoude bomen. Het kijkt uit op de Mount Lucretili Nature Park, een van de mooiste natuurgebieden in de regio Lazio. Op de begane grond van de oude stal is omgebouwd tot een biljartzaal. Buiten, in de grote tuin is er een zwembad (13m x 7m) een privé-vijf-a-side voetbalveld en een aantal spelletjes voor kinderen. De boerderij is als volgt gestructureerd (8 personen):
Begane grond: hal, biljartkamer, huishoudster appartement (geplaatst in een volledig afgelegen positie, met een eigen buitenruimte).

1e verdieping: grote zitkamer met open haard, met toegang tot een terras met tuinmeubilair; eetkamer; keuken met openhaard; badkamer.

2e verdieping: twee tweepersoons slaapkamers met ensuite badkamers; twee slaapkamers met twee eenpersoonsbedden; badkamer:

Amazing Villa

Beautiful setting. Amazing huge pool. The property is huge with four bedrooms upstairs. Lovely hosts live on site but never intrusive in fact very helpful. Wonderful stay.

Amazing house with beautiful pool and outlook

The property is in the most beautiful location with views over the countryside at all angles and you can watch the stunning sunset every evening from the poolside. The house is very old but that is part of its charm and had plenty of room for all of us (there were 5 of us in our party). The pool, although needing a bit of renovating in places, was large and well located to the house and very welcome in the summer heat. Plentiful loungers and seating around the pool for all to use. Overall a fantastic experience in the Italian countryside with easy access to Rome.

Great stay, beautiful villa, gorgeous pool

The villa was really large and spacious, the outdoor space was amazing, the owner was responsive and checked in with us. Great WiFi too ! I do feel you need a hire car for the stay, you couldn’t do it without. The pool was gorgeous, and just lovely. I lovely Italy anyway so maybe bias but really liked that Laura messaged us a few times to check in but didn’t bombard us !

Beautiful rustic villa out of Rome

Huge and comfortable older home in the countryside, great for an escape but don’t expect mod cons. The pool was fantastic and local towns - especially Palombara Sabina - were perfect for exploring, once we figured out the buses. It’s a good hour from Rome but possible by public transport. Be sure to book a ride there well in advance if you have luggage and no car, as the bus is not able to take much luggage and it can be difficult to get a taxi.

Summer 2023 in the countryside outside Rome

About an hour's drive from the airport the property is found down a winding drive, that one of our hire cars found a little difficult. An old farmhouse is being restored into a summer home. Very spacious rooms on the first floor and bedrooms on the second. With a lift for the less mobile from the ground floor. Plenty of room to spread out of an evening, with the magnificent pool to enjoy in the day. You are quite isolated, without a propety in sight, though you can hear distant neighbour's dogs at night. Small supermarkets can be found within 15 minutes drive, which have good provisions including wine! And a drive takes you to an excellent train service into Rome, from a local village.

Lovely, historic villa

Beautiful surroundings, good access to nearby towns, roomy 3 level villa with a lift. Be careful, because the stairs are a bit high & uneven, but that adds to the charm. Having a washer was great, but just plan ahead as you must dry them by hanging on racks in the roomy washing area. It got a bit chilly in late October, so it gave us an opportunity to light a fire in the quite large living room area. That was something different for us South Floridians, where it is almost always warm. One suggestion to our host would be to try to improve the internet signal-even with her wi-fi, we were unable to get strong enough signals to do everything we would have liked. Overall, it was a great experience.

Wunderschönes Haus, herrlicher Garten

Wir haben eine sehr schöne und entspannte Woche in Collestretto verbracht. Das Haus und der Garten mit Pool ist für acht Menschen absolut ausreichend dimensioniert. Man kann gemeinsam etwas unternehmen (der Pizza-Abend mit eigenem Ofen war klasse), aber auch für sich sein. Der Garten bzw. Park ist riesig und auch im Haus gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, sich aufzuhalten. Die Doppelzimmer sind etwas unterschiedlich in Größe und Ausstattung, das sollte man bedenken. Im Sommer ist der Pool natürlich einfach traumhaft. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt !!

Havre de paix

Laura a été très reactive à tous mes messages et de plus très agreable! Sa maison est un vrai havre de paix typique et parfaite pour les familles et amis, les plus sont la piscine, le four a pizza et l ascenseur intérieur !! Seul petit bémol le coin est peu touristique donc peu entretenu, en ce qui concerne les sentiers de rando et les alentours! Ce qui n empêche que nous avons passé de bons moments et trouvé en cherchant bien, de la magnifique huile d olives!!

Gemütlich und ruhig gelegen mit tollem Pool

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Genug Platz für alle und einen superschnell Pool. Rom ist mit dem Zug recht gut zu erreichen, für die 42 Grad am Colosseum kann ja keiner was! Alle Acht aus unserer Gruppe waren sehr zufrieden!

Meravigliosa tenuta

Soggiorno piacevolissimo, rilassante, in un posto molto bello immersi nel verde, con una bellissima piscina a nostra completa disposizione. Mooi groot landhuis in mooie omgeving

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren mit acht Erwachsenen unterwegs. Es ist ein sehr grosses, liebevoll und aufwendig (Personenfahrstuhl) ausgebautes Haus in Alleinlage. Riesiges Grundstück, Holzpizzaofen und Schwimmbad (nicht im April). Nutzbar sind die erste (Wohnräume) und zweite Etage (Schlafräume), sehr steile Treppen. Ein sehr schönes Anwesen.

Tenuta fantastica

La tenuta è immersa nel verde, casa spaziosa con tante possibili attività, dal forno a legna al biliardo. C’è addirittura un campetto da calcetto. Perfetto per una vacanza in compagnia con figli e famiglia.

Fantastic Villa in a great secluded location with breathtaking views. Loved every minute of it.

My family and I had the most memorable experience at the Villa with fantastic facilities including a massive clean swimming pool, BBQ area and a wood burning Pizza oven which we regularly used. The owner of the property was very accommodating and the two caretakers Rosalba and her husband couldn’t be more helpful. The Villa is surrounded by mountains and Olive groves away from any noise yet it is only a 45 min train ride to Rome with the station 15 min drive from the Villa. Thank you to Laura, Rosalba and her husband for a great stay in your wonderful Villa. I will recommend your Villa to my friends and family.

Fabulous Villa close to Rome

1hr from the airport,10 mins to the local station, 38 mins into central Rome (€11 for 5!) this place is ideally located if you want to share your time between the pool and sightseeing. The local guides for Rome that you recommended were amazing too! Pool is a great size, the wonderful Italian couple who greeted us were so kind and overall our stay was just what we wanted. Supermarkets 10min away and local restaurants were great value. Will definitely return. Thank you!

Another great stay at Villa de Collestretto

Three years ago we stayed at Lauras villa. A great villa surrounded by mountain slopes and oliver trees. Almost complete solitude, with the villa located in the middle of acres of olive trees. Once again we stayed at the house for a week, and once again we had a great week. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for two families, and have all the utilities you need. The pool is big, clean and easy to access and use. There's also sitting areas, sun beds etc. by the pool so you can easy stay there the whole day. All and all, a great villa, great location and the most friendly and helpful caretakers in Rosalba and Luciano. We recommended this stay three years ago, and we recommended it even more this time. A slice of paradise for us.

wunderbares Juwel mit großartiger Außenanlage und großem Pool

Dieses Haus ist fantastisch. Man spürt Geschichte und man hat viel Platz. Der Pool ist groß und man kann wunderbar darin schwimmen. Das Hausmeisterehepaar was dort wohnt hält die Anlage sehr sauber und ist ansonsten sehr unauffällig
