A dream that was fulfilled.
We had a dream, my two friends and I, when we left Norway and traveled to Italy. A dream of a stay in the Italian countryside, in an old farmhouse with soul and history. We found it in Casa Del Leone Rosso.
When we arrived at the house, we were kindly welcomed by Giovanni and his mother who showed us around and told about the house and its interesting history.
The house is furnished and has the necessary equipment to have good days. When we discovered the little kitchen garden, life was perfect.
A lovely pool to cool off on hot days was certainly an advantage and a nice patio for good meals and relaxation in the shade. And with a great view over the valley.
If we needed any help, Giovanni was quickly in place and helped. Everything for the guests!
The local area is nice for walking and cycling to the nearby villages. Also good opportunities for day trips by car to other parts of the area.
Finally -
My very best moment, early morning, on the patio, watch the sun rise and feel the day begin its life. Hard to describe ......
To me, this is the good life in Italy.
