A fish license card can be bought in the tourist information in Hemsedal city. The oar for the boat you can find under the terrace. It is not allowed to fish from the boat, but you can fish from land.
Rjukandefossen, one of many impressive waterfalls in the area, is a powerful two-part waterfall, falling 59 feet through a narrow gulley. Hemsedal is also home to Hydalen, a protected landscape with a rich and special fauna and a wonderful experience either by bicycle or on foot.
