Pristine room, get a lot more bang for your buck than surrounding hotels, good location near the water and accessible to nightlife walking, plenty of food close by.

Phenomenal

This place was amazing. Check in so easy. Not only was the suite amply sized, it was beautifully furnished. We had a turntable, comfortable couch, a kitchen with every implement we could ever need. Would be an outstanding choice for a longer stay.

What a wonderful experience. We loved the suites and everything about The Weldon. They were so great accommodating us for an early check-in to get ready for a wedding in town. The kitchen amenities were fabulous to prepare a full meal, and the living room area provided a cozy space to hang out and relax with everything you need. Highly recommend booking The Weldon for your stay in Portland.

Not sure about the other units but ours was beautiful! Love the thought put into this property. Tastefully furnished well equipped spacious and clean! Remote check in had us nervous, but ultimately I would prefer it over most front desk experiences I’ve had. 5 stars all day long

Very easy communication leading up to the reservation. No issues with getting codes for entry. Suite was impeccable upon entry. Easy walk to old port for dinner and drinks. Responsive to questions during stay and provided last minute parking accommodations. Overall, lovely stay. Everything was perfect!

amazing!

everything was amazing, there is absolutely nothing to change. Communication was great (we had a little issue with smoke smell checking-in and they immediately switched us to another suite), equipment is on point (special mention to the Taylor Swift album to listen to on the turntable), the bad was so comfy. We'll come back, that's for sure!

This hotel is just perfect. The apartments are beautifully decorated, and have everything you need plus more. From a coffee machine to a record player and even a food processor! The work from anywhere space was also fantastic, with 3 individual booths for privacy and holding meetings. This hotel is a 10/10!

Amazing place to stay in Portland. The location was great. The hotel is right next to Courtyard Marriott and Aloft hotels, but it feels so much more comfortable. The unit was twice as large as a typical Marriott room about 700 sq. ft which was wonderful. It is Walkable to the ferry boat, restaurants and shops. There is a full kitchen, dining area, living area, very large island with large windows to brighten the place and a set of washer and dryer in the unit. Extremely clean and it looked exactly like the pictures on Hotels.com website. I usually spot the dust in the corner of the hotel rooms, but this one was spotless. We had our large dog with us and they provided the pet mat and food and water bowls.

My partner and I stayed in the 2bdr deluxe suite. It was worth every penny. At the same cost as some of the other nearby hotels, we had an entire apartment unit to ourselves. The provided coffee was excellent and the record player was a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and modern, while the bed was very comfortable. If there are any complaints, it was that the soundbar and volume controls for the tv did not work. Other than that minor nitpick, we were spending most of our time exploring Portland’s many restaurants and shops and the location was still just near enough to downtown to be a comfortable 10 minute walk away. Pro-tip, you can also park at the street spots across the street from the nearby Cross Insurance Arena to save some money. Enforcement ends at 6pm and costs $18 for an entire day.

Great stay at The Weldon Hotel

We were really impressed with the new hotel. There are only about 16 "rooms" which are all spacious suites with bedroom, bath, living room/full kitchen. Decor is mid-century modern with a grey and white color scheme. There was a turntable and LPs to play in the room. They supplied delicious coffee with the coffee maker. The keyless entry was very easy. Check in is on your phone, which confused us at first, but the manager was there and he was very helpful. Bed was very comfortable. It was an easy walk to the waterfront in one direction and to the Portland Museum of Art in the other. If we had a complaint, it was only that at night we could hear the hum of some HVAC unit, which was probably not even associated with the hotel and not under their control. At first we were bothered but then it became "white noise." It was a pleasure for us to stay at The Weldon Hotel.
