Clean, but would not stay again

Chatswood is a nice place to stay. However, this hotel is a bit far from the train station(7-10 min walk, could be tiring with luggage). We arrived the hotel around 9am. The receptionist (Maddie) told us she could have them prioritize to clean our room first so we could check in early around noon, which was nice. Came back to the hotel at noon, was told the room wasn’t ready. We waited in the lobby for over two hours while she helped other guests who walked in after us check in early. We were really tired after a long flight from the US and waited till 20 minutes after the normal check-in time(2pm) to speak with Maddie again. It turned out our room was ready earlier but when she called the cleaning person (Helen), she asked about the wrong room number. I don’t understand why she could let others check in early and have us wait in the lobby for 2 hours and why she couldn’t switch us to a room that was ready. Helen was very apologetic and came to ask if we needed anything when she saw us walk in our room. I understand that they are doing the guests a favor to let them check in early. But I felt we were less important than others to the receptionist. If it weren’t her mistake, we wouldn’t have to have wasted two hours.

Excellent location

Quest is ideally located in a vibrant area. Across the street from a large mall. A few blocks from a train to the CBD, easy access to local buses. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Nice amount of space for a family of 5

We had 2 adjoining rooms, which was perfect for our family of 5. We had a good stay. Unfortunately, we had one sleepless night. The person in the room above us chose to break the rules and had a party till 4 am. Called around 2 am, but the problem wasn't corrected until we called again at 4 am. We were promised that the problem would be taken care of and it was. We had no further incident for the rest of the stay. The staff, particularly Samson, was warm and personable. The hotel was also conveniently located near tons of shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

New, clean.

New Hotel. Still a few operational kinks to work out - but enthusiastic, helpful staff. Very much enjoyed my stay. Would recommend. They need the help of a Wayfaring expert - but otherwise great place, Great loaction, near a wonderful variety of dining and shopping within very close walking distance. Park the car and walk.

Brilliant place - communication needs a tweak

Accommodation, location, friendly helpful staff; were all brilliant. But no check in details sent and office was closed when we arrived. I had to borrow a local phone from a fellow guest and phone a emergency number to get someone out to come and let me in. It was just a communication problem, but needs ironing out for future hotels com customers. Otherwise 10/10 place to stay
