A great stay

We decided late in the day to turn our one-day stay into a 2-day one, and we’re glad we did. Our second floor kitchenette room faced the gulf, and despite the fact the Marker 8 bar was immediately below, we were undisturbed…it’s a lively place to eat (play-off on the night we ate there). 2 pools (the heated one and the hot-tub for guests) made this a memorable stay. Dunedin a great base too. Very friendly and helpful staff…we had an out-of-hours plumbing issue, and the maintenance guy came along within 10 minutes to sort it. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to the Florida west coast.

Very comfortable bed. Great kitchen facilities. Spotlessly clean. The pool, spa area are in a wonderful position overlooking the water, where you can watch great sunsets every evening. The free use of bicycles was an absolute bonus as we used these to cycle the wonderful Pinellas trail and to Honeymoon island. Also free laundry facilities made our stay easy. Thanks Beso del Sol .

Very enjoyable stay at Beso Del Soy Resprt

A lovely stay at this classy resort. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Plenty of entertainment, Very clean. Busy and noisy at weekends which is why is would suit couples instead of families. Close to beach and quaint town of Dunedin. Everything close by to the resort.

look closely before booking

When I checked out this resort I relied on the honesty and integrity of the persons producing. After all a picture can't lie can it. Well the pictures don't lie they just show the penthouse suite which for us mere mortals don't get. Instead you will receive a 2 roomed apartment the rooms measure 61/2 x 41/2 of my big paces (i'm 5'11") the living room has a pull out bed with a very springy mattress not really in-line with the cost also that mattress was minging. The living area also houses the small kitchen 2 rings microwave and fridge. It isn't very children friendly as they aren't allowed in the taped off tiki bar area nor the small swimming pool on the tiki bar side even though theres no-one in it and only 2 people standing at the bar. They aren't even allowed to use the ping pong table. Dunedin lovely area absolutely beautiful Beso Del - well if i went again i'd go elsewhere

Elevators were at the other end of the property. Lots of zig-zagging around the balcony to get to room. Ice machine all the way Check in at 4 p.m. and Check out at 10 a.m. Not much time to relax by the pool or hot tub. Staff was friendly. on other side of property.

Stayed three nights in early January and so the weather was cooler. We were called on the day of our checkin which was nice. Very friendly and detailed our check in and what to do if we arrived late. Check in was easy. Our place was clean and what we expected. Bed was king and pretty comfy. My mistake as I thought there were only two towels for our stay but found two more in the cabinet above the toilet. But they did deliver two more when I asked about the number. Tiki bar was a like a better dive bar. View is amazing. Sunset shots are fun and all bartenders were friendly. I see that another review on the food said that everything is served in styrofoam containers and this is still true. So the response that they weren’t able to get more environmental friendly containers doesn’t ring true. The second night it was chilly in the bar and the bartender said she couldn’t turn on the heaters without management approval. So we left and went elsewhere. The third night we came back for a couple final beverages after dinner and it was close due to cold weather. So that was a disappointment. Due to weather we didn’t use the pool or any other amenities but we’re still charged for the resort fees. Didn’t seem fair. On the positive side - great sunsets. Good location. Nice people.

Property a bit 'dated' but clean and comfortable. Great sunset views from the patio dining tables as well as the Pools and Jacuzzi wonderful for relaxing right on the waterfront. Def booking another stay there next time in the area...great value!

Great place no complaints

Worth the few extra bucks to get balcony with sunset view. My unit was super clean and everything worked fine. Only had one negative and that is apparently (ash tray on balcony) smoking is allowed. Couple in room next to us smoked like it was their job. Couldn’t really enjoy the balcony or leave the door open. Plenty of parking. Easy to find and check in. Very short walk to Eddie’s bar and grill which was really really good. Over great place, no complaints.

Bacteria in the pool/hot tub chemicals off

We enjoyed our stay here and would have given a good reading but the chemicals in the pool or hot tub were off upon returning home we had infections my toe nails turned green and my wife had infections in her legs from bacteria in the pool/hot tub. I called to file a complaint and they said “ I’m sorry to here that” no offer of compensation or anything. I asked for a call back from management and never received it.

Great affordable place right on the ocean

This was a last minute Christmas visit to Dunedin and this place was great. On the outside it looked a bit like an old school 50s style hotel but the rooms were spacious and modern with a king size bed and kitchenette and a deck. The best part was the hotel Tiki bar right on the ocean. Great place I’d definitely go again.
