The apartment was fine. There are windows on 3 sides of the lounge and dining area, which give absolutely stunning views of the fjord. It was so sublime we extended our stay and, if we had the time, would have stayed longer. The only 2 down sides for us were that the bed was very hard and creaked loudly every time one of us turned over. The shower didn’t stay on its holder, so the showering experience was a big of a faff. That said, water pressure was strong. In spite of this, we would return just for that incredible vista.

Wonderful

Stunningly beautiful location. Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Very friendly owners who also run a very good restaurant just by the dock. Great charming little village with a well stocked shop and great hiking options on your doorstep.

Spacious property, stunning location

Visit undredal was more spacious than we were expecting based on the pictures. The huge living area had fantastic views over the fjord, and there was even a private sauna! Location was also excellent - only a few minutes walk to the village and several trails on the doorstep, including a route along the edge of the fjord. Cabin owner was very helpful providing recommendations in the area. Only negative was the check-in experience, it took over half an hour from arrival until the owner arrived, despite ringing the advertised numbers multiple times.

The view from the cabin is SUPERB, totally million dollars view. Property was in an okay condition, full kitchen and stuff. Warm enough (4 degrees at night). We couldn't contact the reception for check-in, luckily we could get a help. Surroundings are quiet and peaceful, very nice for vacation.

Wonderful Experience!

Amazing place! The pictures don't do justice! The place is literally on the water. The owners were very helpful and kind. The house was very comfortable and great for our young children. Highly recommend and want to return.

Utterly stunning views, location is fantastic, staff friendly and helpful, food good and very reasonably priced (for Norway). The property could do with a refurb as rather dated kitchen although we came here for the location and view so not too much of a concern for us. We like more isolated locations with less tourists so found this great.

Wonderful views

Wow what a unique apartment. Met the owner and his wife in their shop tasted the local cheeses and salami. The apartment although a bit dated was comfy and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely stunning and the covered terrace was perfect for sitting watching the wildlife.

Fantastic views, but the rest was awful.

The apartment was right on the Fjord and had astonishing views. However, everything else was a disappointment. From spiders on the bed to broken lamps. Poor sound insulation and you could hear disturbing foot steps from people walking in the apartment above. Kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, oil, salt etc. but utensils were not cleaned / washed properly. No dustbin in the kitchen. Shower head was broken and leaked from a number of places. Some of the power sockets were not working. Property was not in a very good condition. Maybe due to its age.

We loved our stay! We had a beautiful view of the fjord and loved the village of Undredal. The house was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was wonderful and we enjoyed renting kayaks and paddling along the fjord. The grocery store had what we needed but be aware that they close at 5:00 and aren’t open on Sundays. There isn’t an outlet in the bathroom that we could find so we had to dry our hair in the hall where there wasn’t much light, but we made it work. Loved having a washer and dryer. The only problem we had was the road to the house is very narrow and it was blocked 3 different times by this farmer and his equipment and vehicle. I thought we were plenty patient waiting for him to get out of the way, but one time I had to toot the horn because he was no where in sight and boy was he mad!! We stayed 5 nights and took day trips from this location. It was perfect.

I must say the host is excellent. The place was just quiet and peaceful. Fully furnished with nice amenities. It is just by Fjord at Undredal. The host trusted us totally with good hospitality. Highly recommended. Despite it is just a night, we were glad that we had made that choice.

The place and area are great! Host send message with check-in instructions. Area was very serene and has a small grocery store and restaurant. Close to Flam as well. FYI don't use Apple maps not very accurate in getting to location.

We loved staying here. The view is unreal and the house offers quite a bit of space. Traveling with two toddlers it was exactly what we needed. We had a small hiccup with check-in, but the locals are so friendly and helped us out. Our host was super accommodating and even drove us to the grocery store last minute on Saturday so we could do some shopping since they would be closed on Sunday. He also offered to shuttle us to and from Flam for a small fee which is a life saver with the lack of transportation options if you’re not renting a car. Can’t say enough good things.
