Noise level and lift smell

There were lots of noise at night with the pipes of the building and aircon radiator making it hard to sleep. The lift also could use some refresher.

Poor incompetent upkeep of access card system.

The access card system was not working for our first 3 days of stay. We have to change our access card every day, every time we use it. Either the entry to our room was not working or entry to lift to access our floor was not working. It was only after the third day whern we insist on either changing room and speaking to their management that it was “working”. Totally unacceptable and incompetent technical support and handing of this matter.

Clean, comfortable, great features within the room. Aircon good but a bit too cold for me... wasn’t quite able to adjust it to my liking. Lots of Asian eateries and best of all - Coles supermarket (which close till late, at midnight) is just across the road!

Great location, comfy and clean, good for family

Location is great as it is opposite world square and capitol theatre and many restaurant and eateries. There is a good place for lunch and breakfast called The Shed in the next building. The lifts smell (I guess they use the same lifts whenever they remove the rubbish. The lobby and the building is basic. The apartment it self is spacious, clean and comfortable. This a a great place to stay for family.

Not acceptable for 2 things 1. Parking charged @ $50/night with reservation required. We made a reservation but when we arrived, they said it was unavailable. Had to park opposite which costed us almost $80. 2. Deposit is at $200/room. I paid $600 for 3 rooms and paid twice (total $1,200) as we checked in twice - left SYD for MEL then back to SYD.

Only average. Took them 3days to hook up the curtain when part of it fell down when we checked in. It was done only when we insisted firmly we wont accept the adjacent office building looking into our room for the 6 days we are staying there. Was told that there will be no maintenance over the weekend which is surprising for a hotel. Booked a bus shuttle to the airport the night before for a 715am pickup. The front desk rang at 710am on the day, to say that they couldnt book it as it requires 24hrs. That left us 5 min to make alternative arrangements. Highly unsatisfactory. Room service is average as the cleaning is not thorough. The manager is pleasant to deal with but the other staff gave me the impression that they don't want to be disturbed. There are many other choices of accommodation in the area so we wont stay there again

I stayed for 3 nights and found the room to be more than adequate and well equipped. Getting in and out was easy, the lifts were responsive and the gym and pool were good.

Good spot

Excellent location for getting public transport, supermarket over the Rd, really handy having our own kitchen. There was a dishwasher, dryer and washing machine, little balcony. Functional but not fancy. Only unfortunate thing was some heavy smoking in the lobby of our floor. Did report to staff, but nothing was ever mentioned again.

We had an 8 night stay over Christmas and New Year and couldn't be happier with our choice. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating helping with extra towels, which they delivered promptly if they didn't have them immediately on hand, and providing assistance with the aircon which we werent to sure how to set. The location was perfect, easy access to trams and trains, shopping and dining. The room large and clean, the bed very comfortable. Two things that weren't so perfect, the balcony and its table were pretty grubby, so we didn't use it (not much of a view from the 4th floor anyway), and a number of times the hallway smelled like cigarettes on the 4th floor even though it is a smoke free building. Other than that we enjoyed our stay immensely, often having the pool all to ourselves, and we will be visiting again in April.
