Don’t book! This is not a hotel. Reception is generally unmanned, we were charged for parking but no space and rooms were very hot even on a cool day.

This is a really lovely hotel hidden away from the centre of Lund but very easily accessible by foot or taxi. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good indeed. The only thing that I have to complain about is the lack of staff on reception when we arrived - it took a while for us to find out that we should ring a number and get check in details. Also, strangely - staff found my purse that I had left in reception but failed to get it to me. If I hadn't asked the following morning about the card, they would have let me leave the hotel without it. It could so easily have been returned to me earlier before I cancelled all my cards with my bank. It caused me a great deal of inconvenience the rest of my trip to Sweden. Nothing beats a human being for communication.

Interesting hotel with helpful staff

The hotel is a little outside the city in what appears to be a residential area so it looks a bit out of place. Nice size room and the pull-out bed was ready made up. Limited on-site parking but expensive so we used a side-street a few hundred metres away (free until 0900 but the clever Swedish parking meters allow you to pay the night before and adjust the stay length to whatever you want in increments of 1Kr and it factors in the free cost overnight. All payable by credit card - when will the UK learn!!) It is about a 15min walk into the town centre of this very beautiful town. Full of interesting buildings, shops and restaurants, with loads of historical sites as well as a nice park. We had had a delivery of a box of goods there in advance and the staff had been very helpful in receiving that, though in the end we collected it from the nearby supermarket). Fire alarm in the middle of the night was a bit of a distraction and it would have been nice to have had something said about it on checking out. Overall a good place to stay in a lovely town well worth visiting.

Great weekend for a Graduation

Hotel really lovely, clean and great room only downside room too hot. No air conditioning and only a tiny window to open. Hotel did provide a fan but it was not effective enough
