Our first time to Paris

Patio la Bastille is a clean and accomodating place to stay we have no complaints there. Our only disappointment was lack of pride within the general population in keeping the streets free of rubbish and the smokers total lack of pride by throwing their butts on the street, the streets are not an ash try. It’s not someone else’s problem as the good example begins at home.

Convenient location, pleasant staff

Tiny room with barely enough space to move around. From reception to room involved negotiating three buildings, stairs, two cobbled courtyards and two lifts which broke down several times. Noise came through walls from adjoining rooms. Lumpy hard pillows. Pleasant, helpful staff. Convenient location.

Reasonable

Very small bedroom with no draws for clothes or bench space in bathroom. Good point - in a very quiet location out back facing a courtyard. Bonus - did have a kitchen with fridge.

There is no free internet service,you

There is no free internet service,you have to pay each day 20 Euro. Rooms are small,I have to upgrade bigger room and it was not worth it. Breakfast also poor and bad.I do not recommend this hotel anybody.

Terrible soundproofing between rooms. Had girls in an adjacent room yelling, laughing and talking from 0230-0630 in the morning. Tried to call the desk, but no number could be found. Phone had nothing on it. No plug for the bath tub. Can’t really use it without a plug, people! Rug was dirty and had not been vacuumed prior to our stay. Desk personnel less than friendly, unlike our other stays in Lyon, Annecy and Geneva on this trip.

The 11th- easy from Gare de Lyon

The staff were excellent and that was why I rated the stay as good. Without good staff, the property was rather ordinary, at best, with a so-so breakfast. Location was very good for us, lots of very good restaurants around and felt safe.
