A wonderful place to stay! Beautiful house, spotless condition and a great games room for us to socialise in as well. Mary was the most excellent host, so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond as a host! Thank you for everything, we would highly recommend.

January Short Break
A lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a home from home holiday. Very warm, comfy beds and little thoughtful touches. Our dog enjoyed our stay too with grassy walks within meters of the front door. Langport has some great walks alongside the river and lots of very nice places to eat.

Superb
Amazing property. Owner was so helpful and kind. Really clean with up to date facilities. Plenty of breakfast and store cupboard items. Even chocolates on the pillows. Photos don’t it justice. Great games room for kids and adults and pretty, mature gardens.

Excellent cottage
This accomodation is situated in an excellent area for dog walkers, very clean and well equipped. It is also within easy walking distance of Langport itself. We were welcomed with fresh eggs, bread, milk, drinks, cereal, tea, coffee etc as well as shampoo, conditioner, showergel, handwash, towels, hairdryer etc. The bed was extremely comfortable too and even in the bedroom chocolates were waiting for us! Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay here, we found it very clean, quiet and comfortable. The fresh eggs from the resident hens for breakfast were a real treat. The shower was excellent, the sofas comfy, the beds comfy and all the amenities on site was brilliant. We will be back to stay for longer and really enjoy the cottage and the surrounding area

50s Gorgeousness
I have just had a fabulous weekend staying in the 50s caravan at Withy Cottages. It is dog friendly for smaller breed dogs.
This gorgeous cosy caravan has retained many of it's original features and has a few modern twists.
You are provided with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bedding, towels, sleeping bag for my son. Cereal, bread, eggs, milk, butter, tea, coffee, sugar, jams, cider and apple juice.
You have access to a shower and toilet in a separate room, where you also do your washing up. Toiletries are provided.
You are located in a peaceful garden away from the main house. You share the space with the lovely chickens who are responsible for the eggs. There is a fire pit table and chairs in the garden which is great in the evening.
There is no TV, which you don't need. You are provided with many games and books to amuse you.
It isn't far from Langport and the local area has plenty of things to do.
You are also spoilt by pubs and places to eat out.

Very comfortable stay, an excellent host with fantastic communications. A very relaxing setting in a peaceful location, the property is teaming with character, suitably modernised and very practical. A good nights rest and stay all in all.

Withy Cottage no. 1
Nice historical cottage, in a quiet, rural setting. Handy for local walks. Well furnished, though lounge not as spectacular as publicity photos suggest. Would recommend staying there. Food basics provided.
A very well furnished, clean character property that felt like you had come home as soon as you opened the door. Highly recommend this property for a family break.
It’s saved it’s purpose slept well apart from the fact that we were expected to strip our bed linen before departure which I found strange considering how much we had spent for the night. Also expected to do dishes...if I pay for first class service then should o be expected to do chores really

Lovely time spent at the vintage caravan, a little cosy for the four of us and the dog but the hosts were more than accommodating and the facilities were brilliant! All in all we had a lovely time and we thoroughly recommend the stay!!

We stayed in the vintage caravan. It was well kept, had everything you needed.
The toilet and shower in the cabin was also very well kept.
They had fresh towels, top grade sleeping bag and pillows, extra covers, hair dryer, every kitchen utensil you would need.
Beautiful scenery and surroundings.
The local pub is very friendly and unique.
A good experience for us was their top priority.
You would not be disappointed with your stay there

Lovely clean, luxurious cottage that has had real thought put into it by the owners....from
really clear comprehensive instructions, to the owners putting out a swingball for the kids and even binoculars for you to borrow to enjoy the views, plus some yummy local Apple juice.

The owners have thought of everything for a great stay. Basic storecupboard items provided for cooking, and fresh eggs, butter, bread and milk too. Comfy, cosy cottages with good walks nearby and super pub round corner. Really couldn't fault our stay, and the owner even posted some toys back to us that we left behind.

Beautiful little self catering cottage with added extras like toiletries and complimentary food and drink. Very friendly owners are on hand should you need anything. Stunning countryside all around. Great base for exploring Somerset.

I stayed for one night on business arriving at 8pm. I was met within minutes with the key. on entry the cottage was warm and cosy complete with all the mod cons you will need, although the wireless connection was slow but wasn't a problem. My dog and I had a wonderful evening. Eggs, cereal and fresh bread, milk, butter , tea coffee etc were all on hand for breakfast. And there's some great fields right next door for dog walks. So impressed that I'm already booked in for next week, so much better than a hotel for a relaxing evening after and long day!
