Nice and spacious room

Stay was great. Room was extremely clean. Property was quiet. The only issue i have is the heating on a timer so we kept having ti reset it every hour and woke up freezing. Thats the only issue. The place was great.

I recently stayed at Aquamarine Villas in Oceanside, California, and had a fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the property. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, with easy access to restaurants & bars. The property itself was well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The unit I stayed in had a spacious patio with a slight ocean view The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring that every detail of my stay was perfect. I appreciated their brochure that included helpful recommendations for local spots to explore. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Oceanside. I look forward to returning in the future!

Run down, hostile office staff

The location of this property is great and close to the ocean. The property is very old and outdated, but relatively clean and felt safe. Check in was simple and pleasant. However, there was one front office woman who was not at all pleasant and I found her to be difficult and therefore WILL NOT STAY here again. We were in town for a Lacross tournament and my daughter's first game required that we be at the field at 7am. Her last game would likely end around 11:15am. The night before, I aksed this clerk if we could check out around noon, at the latest, to avoid the stress and hustle of having to pack and be out completely at 5:45am. She said NO. She said check out time is 10am and was not at all flexible or understanding and told me "I suggest you pack up tonight". This was a Sunday check out and I doubt that this unit was in such high demand that allowing us to check out at noon would've been a problem. As a result, we felt rushed and stressed, packing the car in the dark and cold early hours before my young daughter had to go to her game. We had to throw away all of our fresh food from the fridge (that would have been our lunch upon return). It was such an inconsiderate exchange with this woman that I will NOT STAY HERE AGAIN and will not recommend this property to others when we return for the next tournament. By the way, other parents who were staying in nearby hotels were easily accommoated with late check outs. There are plenty of other options in the area.

Wonderful visit to Oceanside

The staff was so friendly and helpful! The property was secure which I appreciated because I'm a female who traveled alone. I never felt worried about my safety. I loved being so close to the ocean where I could walk down to it. The pier was close enough I could could walk to it within 15 minutes or so. My only complaint was with the cleanliness of the floors. They didn't look like they had been swept or mopped before my check in. When I walked barefoot after checking in there was obviously stuff I could feel on my feet. A good cleaning when make a huge difference. Overall it didn't affect my stay and I still had a great time. I would stay at this property again.

The resort exceded my expectations. The price was better than other facilities that have much smaller rooms and less amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful and the area around the hotel was very nice. I even had an ocean view!

All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We came to visit my son at Camp Pendleton. Perfect location! Close to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Easy to get transportation wherever you want to go. We had several different requests during our stay, from extra linens to help with luggage. Never any hesitation to help from any of the staff we asked! I would love to return and stay again, and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation!

Excellent place to stay

Excellent place to stay. High ceilings, great ocean views, clean and lots of amenities. Smooth check in and check out. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again. 1 block to the beach and very walkable.

Great location trade off for average hospitality.

Property is well-maintained. Excellent location. Quiet location. Close to many amenities. Decor is dated but functional. Check in is quite late and check out is quite early. They did not seem to be eager to accommodate late check out and earliest they would accommodate for checking in was 2 o'clock. Front staff were not the most friendly and hospitable. One of the main reasons we booked here was the heated pool. We unfortunately could not use it for pleasure as it was too cold. We reported this.

The property is dated but the grounds are beautifully kept. Nice pool and hot tub. Very quiet area. We were fortunate to have the 2 bedroom which is basically a house with a 2 car garage. Lots of room. The only downfall is no AC. It was a bit muggy at times. But they do provide plenty of fans for the entire house to circulate air. I will stay again and do recommend. The cup coffee shop across the street is a great little local coffee shop that offers tasty coffee and breakfast sandwiches/muffins etc. Great place to stay and super close to the beach. Also the pier is close. About a 15 minute walk max. Nice gem!

Cozy, comfortable, relaxing, close to the beach. They had amenities like boogie boards to borrow and use at the beach, onsite laundry and simple conveniences like coffee for the room. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed.

Units need to be updated, maintained better. We had 2 bedroom and it is a very large. Probably a good value for a family on a nudget.
