The only thing that didn't work as well was the stove. It took me and hour and half to finally get my chicken fried. Stove in the room was on high but the stove never got that hot.

Unfortunately our stay was not pleasant. The first day there we had to move rooms as there was no hot water. This was after we had all settled in and filled up our fridge with food for 1 week. They moved us to a room closer to the boilers to ensure we had hot water. We could hear a "knocking sound" coming from the bathroom wall and the last night there the noise was persistant and we could not sleep at all because of this. We did inform the staff and was told they would look into it but might be due to water pressure. Overall very disappointed and we will not be going back.

A Great Winter Retreat

Give yourself these reminders before you go and you’ll have a great time. 1)This is a 20 year old beach resort that gets beat up with the summer tourists 2) There will be lots of kids there due to the great indoor water slides 3) You are paying a small fraction of what another indoor water park resort will charge you. Great weekend trip with our family. Perfect location to Broadway at the Beach and the Boardwalk, spacious room, friendly desk staff, great coffee shop, and well kept water park. Only advice is to make sure to bring your own towel/robe/warm something to throw over you when having to walk between water parks, which are located in two buildings.

Booked for January and understand it's off season. But most everything was closed or not working. Beds very hard and pillows too firm and large. Restaurants closed, pool closed and had to walk outside in cold way to other building for their indoor pool. All set up for kids only. No deep pool for adults. Spa advertised was a joke. 1 woman who rents one room in building. Waste of money. Don't do. Finally found small cafe and small restaurant in other building and computer system down and couldn't order anything. Very disappointing

The people we worked with were all great. The front desk manager, the activities agent Lori was super great and a few of the staff around the facility. I do however wish the hotel was more updated. It just has an older appearance. Also i wish there was never a bug issue. We do always see some kind of bugs in our rooms/on the floor. Also i wish the bathrooms were spick and span, specially the floors. Oh and the beds are very hard, i dont prefer that firm. For those that do, they will love that! My kids love the indoor water parks tho so its usually worth coming.

Ocean front room was right above the splash pad. That’s all you can hear and see since they never turn the water or the lights off. Shower was either really Fng hot or cold. Oven did not work, no broom to clean the floor with. Walls very thin, we could hear the neighbors and the ones above us. Parking is a block away, never any luggage carts available. Have to walk through the water parks to get to beach. Good luck finding a spot in the hot tubs cause it’s full of kids jumping in and out constantly. Only good things were they got us in early and it’s kid friendly - till 11 pm every night. Oh and the bar let you take your drink to go.
