Beautiful Home

For the most part, everything was excellent. However, we did have a few hiccups with broken chairs, as well as some of the decoration that kept coming off the walls, the no touch garbage can never worked properly also, the ice machine kept stopping with making ice. But for the most part, this was a wonderful home I would stay at it again. Very spacious and more than enough room for a large family.

Nice exterior bad interior

When we first walked in the house it appeared to be beautiful. But once we settled in we noticed that the house was not clean. There was a roach trap on the counter with dead roaches in it. In the refrigerator, and under the table, as well as bedroom number 5 had the most cockroaches. The master suite upstairs had black mold in the shower, and along the floors of the shower doors. There was black mold inside the cracks of the tile and on the walls. I suggest you call Stanley Steamer to come and steam the grout in your showers. We sent an email with our concerns and we’re told someone would be sent down to assist. However, no one ever came. We ended up having to deal with two tragedies in our family, unfortunately, so those issues were no longer our first priority. Please advise on how you would hand this situation if you were in our shoes. Thanks, Yolanda

Cockroaches

This house has a serious roach problem. They were even in the dishwasher. The living and kitchen area need to have a professional come in and spray. And there are about 30 % of the lights that don't work through out the house. One refrigerator need repaired because the ice falls to the bottom of it because of a broken panel in it . Could be a really nice property but needs HELP.

Huge & accomodating

I really wanted to like this house, and hoped it would deliver.....and "IT DID". This place is SPACIOUS. Very accommodating for large parties. No chance of feeling crowded here. It's is a big house but not a mansion; zero lot line so outdoor space is limited to the lanai & pool deck plus a (large open field behind house). This is not a negative more of an FYI. A positive note is the house has no rear neighbors so it's not over looked. Nicely decorated on the interior w/ 2 refrigerators (a big plus in this house). 3 bedrooms downstairs 7 upstairs, washer / dryer on both levels. Spacious sitting area upstairs. A roomy lanai & pool deck with a large pool & spa tub which YOU WILL NEED POOL HEAT FOR THE SPA TUB TO BE HOT. If you leave the house, there are a variety of grocery stores and shopping facilities close by. A whole host of restaurants to satisfy a range of dining options. Depending on the time of the day, traffic can be an issue but its survivable if you have a bit of patience. Also, beware of the backup that occurs entering into the community. Not always the case but when it happens, its frustrating & time consuming. There's a few negatives, but none which hampered the functionality of our vacation. Some patio & house furniture needs updating, the pots & pans are just enough to get by. Upstairs dryer is wearing down. Some things seem small to be in such a big house that accommodates 20 people like the rental grill which was small like a beach grill. Personally, I feel the home owners should pick the slowest month, halt rentals, and use this time to update refresh & repair things around the home. Maybe they do but just a suggestion. So why 5 stars with a list of negatives, cause it didn't affect my stay. The host Bonni was attentive & responsive, the house was as pictured and though there are negatives, I didn't hear anyone complain about anything during our stay (only exception was the grill size). I read reviews and some people come to these homes and review negatively as if they live here. Some things warrant a star reduction but I'm willing to bet some of theses customers don't live in a flaw free home. I understand you're paying your money, but it's VACATION, so ride with the accommodations and make it work Overall we would return in a heartbeat, as once again, yes it delivered, and I loved it.
