Welcome to the Regency at Poipu Kai #811 on the beautiful island of Kauai. This well-appointed 2 bedroom condo boasts a spacious kitchen and living area. Being the third tier of the development, this condo has central AC. Very desirable in sunny Poipu.

The primary bedroom with an over-sized on-suite also has a King size bed and a smart TV. A private lanai is just off this primary bedroom as well. The second bedroom is perfectly equipped with large bunk beds- a queen bed on the bottom and full size on top. Across the hall is another full-sized bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for all of your culinary needs. Enjoy the second lanai just off of the living room and partake in a tropical refreshment or morning coffee.

An entry level condo makes it easy to access after a long day of swimming and playing in the ocean, or hiking in our beautiful mountains. There is so much to experience on our garden island, the outdoor activities are limitless.

Two resort swimming pools, two hot tubs plus access to the Poipu Kai Resort pool, tennis and more. In addition, Brenneckes, Shipwrecks and Poipu Beach are all just stroll away. Enjoy the luxury of the well-known green belt walk way that leads you right to the popular beaches on the south side of Kauai.

Girls Trip

We had a great time!! A great location and the condo, pools, and hottubs were outstanding. Some of the beach items for use were broken and the dishwasher didn't work very well. We still very much enjoyed our stay!!

Great property!

So easy from start to end! Great location, close to poipu and shipwreck. Condo was clean and plenty of kitchens supplies for cooking although close to so many restaurants. Walk to beaches we had a wonderful time! Property manager very responsive and helpful.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Unit exactly as described/pictured

Conveniently located on Kauai's south side. Shopping and restaurants near by. Less busy than Lihue, which we preferred. Communication with CBIP Vacations was excellent prior to check-in, for check-in, and when questions arose during our stay.

Kauai Poipu 2023

It was our first trip to Kauai. Since I've visited the other Hawaiian islands numerous times I wanted to stay on each side of Kauai during our stay. This allowed us to get the full experience from each unique zone. We loved the Poipu location & condo!

Fantastic Stay Near Poipu Beach

This property was perfect for our first visit to Kauai. The walking path to Brenneckes and Poipu Beach was convenient, and the unit came equipped with chairs, some snorkels, and a wagon that we used to walk down and swim with fish and sea turtles. While the unit had some boogie boards available, they were either broken or too small for us to use. A pleasant surprise was the updated couch, which was different from the one shown in the pictures. The bathtub was great for relaxing, and the pools and hot tubs were very close by. However, we struggled to get the access key for the third pool to work. Additionally, be cautious with the towel holder on the right sink in the master bathroom, as it is loose. The standout feature of this unit was the communication from the host. I texted them multiple times during our trip, and they were incredibly responsive. It truly felt like we had a host who cared about making our experience enjoyable. We spoke to several people who mentioned that they always stay at the Regency at Poipu when they visit Kauai, and I completely understand why. We gave it a 10/10!

Perfect Getaway

The accommodations are absolutely wonderful. Clean, updated, quiet, first floor (although the second floor can be only slightly heard). Can no see the beach but the walk is about 10 minutes and not difficult. Poipu is beautiful, quiet, convenient to all the island, exactly what a couple/family needs for a peaceful vacation to refresh and gather with discreet time together. Absolutely will return!

We had a great stay. The unit was very comfortable and the location was perfect.

Short walk to the beach. You can walk to watch the sunrise and the sunset. I was a little worried about the comments about noise from upstairs unit. There was some but not anything that prevented us from getting a good nights rest. The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was a bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed even nice wine glasses.

Nice stay

Conveniently located in Poipu and walkable to beaches for play, sunrise, sunset. Adequate kitchen utensils etc. I tend to like to cook and bake so that was not sufficient, but we got by. With air conditioning and ceiling fans outside noise is not as apparent. Small pool but good enough. Overall was a comfortable condo.

Great base camp for a Kauai adventure

We rented this property for 8 days and really enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed the full kitchen with updated appliances, washer and dryer in the condo, central ac. It was a good size for a family of 4 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large dining room table and 2 couches in the living area. It was in a nice area within driving distance to shops and restaurants. The only critique is the second bedroom was recently upgraded to a metal frame bunk bed. Any movement from a sleeper made the bed squeak and it would shake a little bit. The ceiling fan couldn’t be used because it is too close to the top bunk.

Kauai surprise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, spacious and quite comfortable! Everything associated with this rental was amazing! The only downside has nothing to do with the management company or the unit itself. We unfortunately had tenants above us who didn’t seem to take into consideration that there kid(s) running track back and forth was disturbing for us (thankfully it usually started after 8am and we didn’t have an issue at night)

A fine stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience at this VRBO was standard. Nothing was over-the-top, but it did the job. We had enough toiletries, cleaning supplies, and towels to get us through our stay. I hadn’t remembered the second bed having a bunk bed, but after looking back at the reservation I did notice we did reserve it with a bunk. We didn’t use the top part, but the bottom part was comfy. The couches were very comfy. The place could use some updates to furniture and overall feel as it is in Hawaii. It’s a bit outdated. We did run out of laundry detergent while we were here. I don’t think I’ll return to Poipu as I was just here for a conference. However, if you’re in Poipu/Lihue area and need a cheap place to stay, this is best suited to a family.

Just okay

The property was okay but the owners should really consider removing the bunk beds, they are very wobbly and the top bunk is way too close to the fan to use it while a child sleeps up there. 1 queen and a twin would be a better fit for the room. No beach toys available which is unusual. The upstairs neighbors walked very loudly until 2am on our final night keeping us awake, ear plugs didn’t help with the sound. Not sure how to prevent that but I was amazed how much walking someone could do. The towels could all use a bit of bleach added to the wash, they all smelled musty even after washing. They only give you enough detergent for 1 load of laundry per day so prepare to buy more especially if you wash towels etc… a couple more pods would have been nice. Overall the property was clean and located close to things but we probably won’t pick this property again.

Good location and clean house

It’s the second time we stayed in Regency at Poipu Kai Resorts (mainly because we want newer place and central AC). Not disappointed with this condo. This condo is located downstairs, good thing is no need to carry your luggages upstairs. The bad part of it starts with your upstairs neighbor. Unluckily, I guessed our upstairs neighbor is a large parties, they need to move furnitures - maybe for sleeping arrangements pretty late at night and every early morning. They also have very active kids kept running around all the times. Well, no one can control that, so just need to be prepared (mentally). The place is very spacious, clean, it has a very cool book shelves, some board games, we found a cooler, wagon, 4 folding chairs, 6 beach towels for us to enjoy the beaches. Kitchen: big counter area in case you need to make a big meal, there’s a rice cooker, blender, good supplies of utensils and many pans. No need to worry about dishwasher detergent, dish soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, all are there, shampoo and conditioner are also provided in bathroom, we have a comfortable stay. Check in and check out information is very clear. Thank you very much

Sweet Home away from Home

The property was amazing! Best area to be in Poipu! Close to everything! The central air made my trip! It work perfectly. Bedrooms were comfy, kitchen was big and had everything you need to cook in! Full fridge! Big enough to store for 11 day stay! I would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the owners for sharing their home!
