Skiathos Repos Villas consists of 2 very classy newly built luxury villas in Platanias. As soon as you approach the impressive entrance, you can sense it: The high standard design, the tastefully decorated spaces, the very elegant terrace and swimming pool area, everything breathes the lazy holiday feeling, everything is abundantly luxurious.
On ground level the open living room with fire place, the dining area and the impressive kitchen of olive wood have view to the pool area, which is very private and offers solutions for all weather types.
On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms sharing a stylish bathroom.
On basement level there is a big bedroom, with its own bathroom, comfortable and decorated with eye for detail. The pool area is the master piece. The walled terrace is free and private and the outdoor kitchen provides the possibility to cook lunch.There are sun beds for sunbathing and sitting areas in the shade to shelter from the summer heat.

Sophia the owner was a star and made our stay perfect, the villa and location is very peaceful and the pool is great too, it’s a bit of a walk to the first restaurant but down a very quiet lane so no problem.

Sophia was a fantastic host and went above and beyond from meeting us at the airport to arranging a food order for our late arrival, we would definitely recommend the villa. The location was quiet and beautiful in a rural setting and with local tavernas within a 10 to 15 minute walk. The villa is ideal for groups of friends and well equipped Pete & Jayne Townsend

Had a great stay hosts were wonderful.

The villa was lovely. We used the upstairs bedrooms as only 4 of us stayed. The beds were very comfortable and the whole villa was spotless and had air conditioning. Pool was crystal clear but as we went at end of May it was cold (as you would expect that time of year). There is a lovely outside area with relaxed wicker chairs and dining table and chairs with outside kitchen where we used the BBQ. We didn't use the basement bedroom so can't comment on that, but it would be useful to have a washing machine down there in the utility. Sophia and her husband couldn't have done more for us. They even posted our earpods that we had accidentally left at the Villa back home to us!!! Thank you from Kevin and Anne xx

Lovely Villa (with constructive observations as we would return)

I would like to think this is a positive review with some constructive observations It was lovely of Sofia to meet us at the airport and to show the way to the Villa, this is above and beyond. The villa & pool are lovely, some of the beds were comfy but the lower level bedroom beds were not so. The location is a little out of the way, car hire is a necessity but we liked that it was remote but not too far. The lane it is located on has some the best Taverna's we have ever eaten at on the Island. Constructive observations - the villa accommodates 6/7 people but only 4 sun beds round the pool so with 5 in our party this meant one family member had to sit in a chair. There were things missing from the utilities list on arrival, no kettle or safe and many of the bulbs not working inside & out. Sofa did supply the kettle and some of the bulbs were replaced within 24 hours. A safe was delivered and left on the kitchen side which was of no use as the safe needs to be anchored to a surface to be used adequately. The toilet in the lower room was leaking which was reported and not repaired even though we had told Sofia my elderly father had slipped in that room. The bathroom sink in the high level bathroom was also leaking and was repaired on the 2nd visit. There was someone else' underwear left in one of the drawers so basically what I am saying is the property was not thoroughly checked before we arrived which is the disappointing thing for us as we liked the Villa itself.

Beautiful villla

Sofia is a fabulous lady and she looked after us very well nothing was too much trouble. Sofia is very kind and say’s to call her anytime if you need anything. She took my husband to the shop on our first night and brought him back. The villa is amazing very clean, spacious and comfortable will be definitely staying in Sofias villa every year from now on. We also have lots of friends who would like to stay here. Our holiday was fabulous.

Mooi, ruim huis met zwembad

Aardige eigenaresse kwam ons ophalen op het vliegveld, en stond klaar voor vragen. Tussentijdse schoonmaak. 2 slaapkamers met airco en de andere in de lag in de kelder waar het ook koel was. Voor ons waren 2 kinderstoelen en kinderbedjes geregeld. Fijn en schoon zwembad.

This is one of the best villas we have stayed in and the most fantastic host in Sofia.

Nothing was too much trouble for Sophia and she genuinely wanted it to be the best holiday it could be for us. The villa is stylish, beautiful and met all our needs. We would highly recommend.

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir waren als Familie 4 Erwachsene & 2 Kindern (3 & 1 Jahr ) vor Ort. Das Haus bietet alles was man benötigt und mit Sofia ( Objektbetreuerin) eine immer verlässliche Ansprechpartnerin. Das Haus selber liegt 1,5 Kilometer vom nächsten Strand ( Agias Paraskevi) entfernt ( dieser ist für Kinder sehr gut geeignet) Kleinere Supermärkte sind ebenfalls gut erreichbar, die beiden größten Supermärkte sind aber ohne Auto nicht erreichbar. Ein Auto /Roller ist bei der Lage dieses Hauses aber zwingend erforderlich. Kleinigkeiten die uns aufgefallen sind: - Strom fällt ab und zu mal aus - Waschmaschine nicht im Haus ( wird aber von Sofia übernommen) - offene Treppe ( für kleinere Kinder nicht ganz ungefährlich) - oberer Bereich sehr hellhörig - Klimaanlagen nur in 2 von 3 Schlafbereichen Der Pool ist ca 10 Meter lang und für die ganze Familie nutzbar und wirkt sehr sauber. Eine regelmäßige Reinigung erfolgt ebenfalls. Durch die Außenbeleuchtung kann man auch am späteren Abend den Außenbereich sehr gut nutzen. Diverse Sitzmöglichkeiten stehen im ganzen Bereich zu Verfügung. Wir hatten einen schönen und rundum zufrieden Aufenthalt vor Ort.

Sofia is very nice and willing to do her best to make things better but sometimes others' best are not yours. 1) Need exterminators on a monthly basis not per season 2) New beds desperately needed in both downstairs units as well as throughout upstairs in the Royal Villa. 3) ALL furniture in both units needs steam cleaning or replacing 4) Pools should be cleaned daily or have water tested 5) These units are not new nor deluxe 6) Not 10 minutes to the beach! 7) Would be nice if all outdoor areas had a couple of loungers etc. so you wouldn't have to congregate outside in one or two spots 8) Villa Mystique outdoor and pool superior to Villa Royal 9) Stairs in both units have no railings at all so are not child friendly nor for the mobility challenged 10) A higher level of cleanliness is definitely required if marketing this as a luxurious accommodation.It is very average and pests and lack of general upkeep render it below average

A perfect villa in magnificent skiathos!

The villa is real quality from the moment you walked through the front door, with an open plan living room that leads to an absolutely stunning garden pool area. Sofia was lovely and we hope to return to the villa soon, as there was not enough time to take in all that skiathos has to offer.

Exceptional

This property is all it is set out to be and more. A car is essential to benefit all that is on offer on SKIATHOS. However the most important thing to mention is how wonderful Sofia is. Sofia could not have been more helpful from greeting us at the airport with our hire car she had arranged for us, all the way through to the very last day where she allowed us to use the other villa whilst awaiting our late flight. Nothing was to much trouble for her and my daughter and grandchildren simply 'loved' her. This holiday was simply 'PERFECT'.... THANK YOU SOFIA and thank you HomeAway. A modern villa in a peaceful setting

We spent 12 days at the villa, it is a modern very clean villa in a peaceful setting and only 5 minutes drive into Agia Pareskevi. The villa was cleaned every other day and linens and towels changed. Sofia met us at the airport and was always at the end of a phone if you needed anything. The pool is amazing, a really good size where you can have a proper swim but only 5 minutes from the beach if you prefer. We found the island busier than we had seen in previous years so originally had concerns as to how we would get into Skiathos Town in the evening as the buses were always full and it was so difficult to flag down a taxi. Sofia gave us a number for a taxi driver who was a freined of her husband Kostas, we called him and he picked us up at the villa and each evening in town we would call and he would pick us up form whereever we were around the Port. It became a regular booking! I would not hesitate to recommend the villa and we will definitely return.

Lovely place and people

The villa itself is beautiful. We stayed in the larger of the two villas with the upstairs being very nicely furnished and decorated. The lower floor was not quite to the same standard but still perfectly adequate. During our stay there was an unusual amount of thunderstorms and rain which caused a number of power trips. Sofia and her husband came out immediately to rectify this but we were without WiFi for a couple of days as the router had blown up. As a positive crisisism the villa could really do with is some more glassware, a new kettle and some cooking pans as the one night we wanted to stay in proved difficult to cook a meal as there was only one pan. Overall the holiday was very nice. Skiathos is a beautiful island and we can highly recommend a trip to the panorama restaurant at the top of the island and the blue infinity restaurant. There are also a number of very nice tavernas on the road up to the villa. Sofia is lovely, helpful and friendly. She comes and cleans the villa a couple of times during your stay and will help to sort a hire car out for an excellent price with a local firm. I would recommend getting a car, especially if you have children as we do. The walk to the main road is probably a mile (20mins). Thankyou Sofia for you help :)

the most exquisite house renting experience we've ever had

La maison est idéalement située à l'écart de l'agitation touristique ,à l'intérieur des terres, tout en étant très facilement accessible. L'équipement est soigné jusque dans les moindres détails ( piscines, abords de la piscine, appareils ménagers) , on pourrait presque y passer l'intégralité de son séjour, sans sortir du périmètre de la résidence, tant l'agencement des installations est parfait. L'intérieur est décoré avec goût , et les pièces réparties sur 3 niveaux, garantissant à chacun son espace de liberté et d'intimité. Le service assuré par les propriétaires est sans failles, le ménage fait tous les 2 jours, les draps et serviettes de bain et de piscine égakement renouvelés à la même fréquence. Les propriétaires sont d'une disponibilité exemplaire et veillent avec attention aux moindres aspérités pouvant contrevenir au confort de leurs locataires. Une expérience exceptionnelle.

The Villa was OK, but the reviews did not match our experience.

Soon after we arrived, Sofia asked us for the cash we needed to pay for the villa. She seemed annoyed that we had booked through HomeAway and said that we should trust her to book direct (but we would never have found the villa without a 3rd party search facility). She showed no interest in how we would spend our time in Skiathos and there was no information in the villa about what to do on the island. On the second day we had to call Sofia to let her know that many of the outside lights didn’t have bulbs, the shower was broken and a door handle to the upstairs bedroom had fallen off. The pool wasn’t maintained properly and a week into our holiday the filter stopped working, meaning the kids couldn’t use it - so we had to take them to a nearby pool (and pay for food and drink so they could swim there). The ‘provided’ items were in short supply - there were never enough bath towels (3 between 6 of us) / often no tea towels, not enough mugs (5 in a 7 person villa) and limited toilet roll (we had to buy our own). The outdoor furniture had been recently re-painted and on the first evening we tried to have a BBQ, our eldest daughter sat on a chair that stuck tar-like paint to her skin and clothes. It was agony to remove (she had to soak in a bath for over an hour) and prevented us from using this area as intended. The Wifi was patchy and unreliable, so even listening to music was a challenge. The villa is NOT a short walk to the beach – it takes about 30 / 40 minutes to walk to the beach and nearest bus stop, so a hire car is essential to get anywhere (another cost to factor in). On the second week of our stay we were woken early one morning to the Greek authorities knocking on the door. They said that the electricity bill hadn’t been paid and that they were going to cut off the supply, which they did. We were left to notify our neighbouring villa of this and lost a considerable amount of time trying to work out what to do. Eventually the problem was sorted and the power was reconnected, but no attempt was made to acknowledge the stress, inconvenience and lost holiday time. Sofia seemed quite stressed and impatient whenever we saw her, and showed no real interest in our time there. The final straw came on the last day, when we were packing to leave. Sofia, her husband and her cleaner, Tula, were waiting outside our villa just after 7am to come and clean for the next people – despite checkout being stated as midday. They came in and starte

Excellent stay

We loved our stay at Sofia's villa. The villa is beautiful, clean, and a modern Mediterranean-style house. The best features were the awesome pool, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, dining and lounging areas, all shaded and a joy to use. The pool is quite large, shallow on one end and 6ft deep on the other. It is located in a private, country setting, yet easy walk to the beach. Although there's no washer/dryer, Sofia happily provided laundry service for us, in addition to regular maid service.

Fantastic villa

Our two families (4 adults and 3 children) stayed at this villa in July 2015. We loved it and had a fantastic holiday in Skaithos. The villa is beautiful and well kept, and the photos on the website are accurate. It is tucked away, with its twin, in a tranquil and private setting just outside of the town and about 1200m inland from the beach. The path to the beach is shaded and easy to walk, and passes several nice restaurants and a grocery store. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the living area is spacious and perfect for entertaining. We made much happy use of the sparkling swimming pool, and the shaded patio lounge next to it. The kitchen is also well equipped. The villa is meticulously cleaned every second day, and there are plenty of towels available. The very friendly landlady, Sofia, met us at the airport and immediately made us feel welcome. She was available to answer our every question, and could make a plan with whatever we needed. Many of the island’s sights and stunning beaches are within easy driving range from the villa, and I would recommend getting a rental car. I loved this villa, and cannot wait to go back there.

Superb Villa

Having stayed in a number of Villas in Skiathos over the years we were extremely impressed with the layout, high standard of furnishings and cleanliness of the accommodation. The spacious bedrooms had air conditioning and balconies with views of the mountains. ( except for the basement apartment which was designed for children, sleeping three)The Villa was very well laid out with the outside area connecting superbly with the inside living area. The pool, BBQ area, sun loungers and chill out area were perfectly designed and made for great relaxing days and evenings. Sofia our host was extremely friendly and accommodating, met us at the airport and arranged car hire. The Villa was cleaned every other day and staff were friendly. Located off the beaten track which is a pleasant 15 minute walk to the main road and nearest beach at Agia Pareskevi ( with small supermarkets on the way) ( and a Donkey !). The beaches in Skiathos are superb on both sides of the island. If you wish to head into Skiathos Town in the evening it cost around 15 Euros for a taxi back, which is a 15min drive. We were all more than happy with the overall holiday, Skiathos is a beautiful island, we are already planning next years return. Thank You Sofia, Wendy, Hannah, Duncan and Joe.
