A comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on the quiet side of Door County. Located in downtown Bailey's Harbor and one block in from the main street. This house is within walking distance to the Marina, The Ridges Environmental Center, Door County Brewery, Harbor Fish Market & Grille, Chives Restaurant, Bailey's 57, Anclam Beach, shops, and all that Bailey's has to offer. Yet the home offers privacy in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Located across from Kendall Park which is fun for the kids and convenient for the Sunday Farmers Market.

The house was built in 1950 as a 3-bedroom, 1-bath home. In 1973 it received a major remodel which included a great room with a stone fireplace, and a master bedroom with a bath. Except for a few makeovers here and there, it remained that way for 46 years.

It recently underwent a significant transformation. The house has been renovated using repurposed materials from industrial buildings and barns from around Wisconsin as well as Amish-made cabinets and furniture.

The family room and the kitchen is generally one large area which is perfect for families. It has a stone, floor-to-ceiling fireplace surrounded by a comfortable seating area. There is a huge bar height table in front of a backlit timber and cream city brick wall with a coffee bar and sink. Patio doors lead to a private, spacious deck with ample seating and a gas fire table and grill. The kitchen overlooking the family room is set up with everything you need to enjoy family meals at home if you choose. On the other side of the house, down the hall, is where you will find the three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath with a walk-in shower and walk-in closet. The remaining 2 bedrooms each have a queen bed and a twin-XL bed along with a closet. Both bedrooms share the main bath at the end of the hall. It is a full bath with a shower over the tub. Additionally, the master bedroom walk in closet has been converted into a laundry area with washer and dryer for guests to use.

Great Framily Birthday Getaway

Celebrated my wife's 50th birthday with our best friends. House had everything we needed to relax, hang out and enjoy some cocktails. Location was within walking distance of a brewery and some great restaurants. Had a fantastic time in Door County!

Fun with friends

Perfect home for an adult trip. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Walking distance to breweries, bakeries, marina, and restaurants. Very clean and the house is filled with everything you may need.

My wife and I live in South Carolina. Flew to MKE, picked up rental and a friend, and drove to Baileys Harbor for four days with friends who live in BH. The property was perfect! We even hosted them for a fondue dinner. I highly recommend the property!

Great Place to Stay!

We booked this place for our girls 60th birthday trip and had a great time. The home was just as advertised, and in a great location, central to all of the places we wanted to visit. The home was super clean and was stocked with everything we needed other than our personal toiletries. The beds were very comfortable and the deck was a great place to hang out. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering it!

Comfortable and well-located

Family of 4 adults, enjoyed our stay. House was very comfortable. A great place to wind down after exploring Door County. Great location in Baileys Harbor, close to restaurants, coffee, farmers market, and of course, the lake! We could walk everywhere.

Wonderful perfectly located

Stayed with a a group of girl friends . It was a great place to relax and so nice to walk to great restaurants and sites . The house was clean and wonderfully stocked. The owner responded very quickly when we had a question . We would all go back again!!

Fabulous place!

The place was wonderful, it looks just like the photos. It had so many interesting areas there was somewhere for everyone to hang out. Loved that we were so close to downtown, lots of things really walkable. We'll definitely be back!

perfect for teen-tween family

I am always leery of rentals, because some aren't as described or leave a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. This home was even better than expected! The place was immaculate, and the host responded promptly to all of our questions. It's a half-block to the lake, and there's restaurants, stores, and coffee shops within walking distance. Our boys loved the park across the street. We were well-stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Perfect Door County Stay

Loved the property! Spacious and extremely clean! I am very particular about places I stay and find it difficult to be very comfortable in new places. I felt extremely comfortable and happy with this home right away. The house was spotless in every corner. Checking in/checking out was very easy. Perfect for Us

This was our first time in Door County, and we thoroughly loved our visit with this home being the perfect fit for our family. It was clean, well-appointed, and felt very cozy and open at the same time. When we had to contact the owner about a couple of questions, he was prompt to respond and attentive. We liked being on the “quieter side.” We would return!
