About Sunny Surfside
Located in the popular Surfside community in Ft Morgan sits Sunny Surfside. A private pool awaits guests with plenty of places to lounge on the deck and a covered Tiki bar area to mix cool drinks! The screened porches are a great place to enjoy the shade and the beautiful views. The Gulf of Mexico and the sugar white sand is just 100 yards away from the home!

This unique home features two levels with plenty of room for guests to spread out. Upstairs you will find the large open concept living, dining and kitchen areas. The master bedroom as well as 2 other bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are also found on this floor. Guests will love the game room/library where they will find a table for puzzles and board games and a shelf for books.

Downstairs there is a second living area with 2 sofa sleepers and a TV. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a bonus bunk room that sleeps 2. The guests on this floor will share a bathroom with a walk in shower and a half bath.

Sunny Surfside is perfect for large and extended families or groups that need extra space. Come experience the best of both worlds with the convenience of a pool and the beach that is just steps from the home!

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

House

The house is very nice. Love the location. My only problem was that it was not very clean. It had a horrible mold smell that was coming from the basement shower we found out. After spraying it down with bleach it helped a Lot. It needs more cleaning but it helped! There’s was a LOT of mold all over the shower inside and out. The coffee pot was cracked, but we bought another one and left it behind.

Great beach house

It’s a wonderful location and has a great pool. Home is in good condition and the AC works well. 100 yd walk to the magnificent beach. Kids alternated between the beach and the pool the whole time. Kitchen utensils are what’s typically found in rental homes for quality, but they are adequate. Beds are decent, home is clean and is a safe quiet neighborhood.

Plenty of space and close to the beach

We had 4 adult couples and 6 children aged 7 and under. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have quiet space if needed. The furniture could use some updating as some of it was quite worn. The pool was great. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. The beach was not overly crowded. Although if you have young kids and want to bring umbrellas, chairs and toys it would help to have a wagon to bring things back and forth. There was a permanent park style charcoal grill onsite. Issues that need to be addressed were: bathroom doors did not lock and one bathroom door you could get locked inside it, bottom freezer was difficult to open and close (it appeared to have problem with the track), one of the dryers did not give off heat.

Great for multiple families!

The layout was perfect for our family as we brought 4 little kids and they were able to be separate in the house for sleeping and play. The playroom was amazing for them when we were indoors. Only things that could be improved is a heating option for pool as it was freezing cold, a grill larger than a park grill, and a few updates on ceiling fans and TVs. GREAT location to beach and local activities, overall our family loved it!

Loved the location

The walk to the beach is so close, less than 5 min away! And the beach is private so we loved that it wasn’t crowded. House is dated but very clean. Beds were nice and cozy. Loved the pool also even though it was cold when we went. We want to come back to this place when it’s warmer!

This is perfect for a large family gathering. We had 5 seperate family groups. A total of 17 people

The beach was less than a 2 min walk. The pool is a nice touch for the rental. The house is a little tired but was perfect for our family of 10 adults and 7 kids (10-1yr) We had a wonderful time.

Great location and fantastic property.

This house was a good size for our group of 8 adults and 6 kids. It was away from the major traffic areas but close enough to see the sights. The gulf was a short walk from the house and not uncomfortably crowded. The pool was great for the kids and adults alike for using up excess energy and turned out to be an asset for our trip. We would recommend this property for any family. The rooms were spread out enough for separate families. Thank you for the wonderful rental.

Decent Option

We generally enjoyed the property. It's somewhat rundown, but still enjoyable as it's very close to the beach. There is a permanent grill installed regardless of what the property management company states. The second fridge in the garage does not cool but the freezer works. The main house fridge doesn't provide ice. The dishwasher is really finicky. The deck needs attention everywhere. Rot has set in and is sagging when stepped on in multiple locations. Overall a decent experience but not sure about renting this property again.

Everything we wanted

We have a group of 10 kid free adults that take a beach trip every year and we have had a hard time finding a place in proximity to the beach that fits our whole group with enough rooms and our budget and this house does it all!! We had more than enough room that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other, the pool was great for those possible rainy days and the walk to the beach was cake. We all talked about how we want this to be our every year house and hope to be back next year!

Awesome house for large families

The house had plenty of beds for our family of 15. The location to the beach was very good and the pool was larger than we expected and a plus for our kids. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

This is the worst rental we have ever stayed in. It has not been maintained from the outside to the inside. We found the place very dirty and we needed to clean the kitchen before we could use it. The linens and pillows need replaced. They need to replace multiple light bulbs. The refrigerator in the garage had one shelf full of blood and was not usable. We sent a picture to the owner and she just agreed it needed cleaning. Needed to clean doors of grime to even use them. Again, this place looks nothing like the VRBO pictures. We definitely over paid for this home and we feel we should receive either a full or partial refund. Renters beware this is deceptive advertising of the property.

Perfect for families

The house is spacious. The pool is wonderful! The short walk to the beach just helped us with a little exercise. We enjoyed our stay. The screen porch by the pool is so nice so you can be with the family but be able to stay out of the sun. There are stairs to get to the kitchen and to get to the washer and dryer out in the garage. The only thing that might be an obstacle for some people.

Large, family friendly house with pool and close beach!

This was the perfect house for large families to vacation. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and living space! The beach is SO close! Only a couple minute walk to the beautiful ocean which you can view from the house! The pool is great, just make sure kids wear shoes around pool area to avoid getting splinters. The owner is great to work with. We really enjoyed our stay there. It is also very close to the Sassy Bass and Tacky Jacks - two fun restaurants to visit during your stay.

Spring break

Lots of space for a framily vacation. A bedroom for everyone. Short 2 minute max walk to the beach. The pool was great. Quick response to any problem with the house. They tell you to bring extra towels for the beach, but I would bring extra towels for staying in the house as well if you are issuing every room. Only give you 2 per room and no bath mats. But I plan on staying here again and again!!!
