Omgiven av olivlundar vid foten av Soller Tramuntana bergen bara i utkanten av staden Soller bara en 10 minuters promenad från centrum Plaza, där du kan hitta många restauranger, caféer med wifi, barer, apotek, banker, utanför terrasser att slappna av, gallerier, lokala hantverkare, och den härliga antika järnvägsstationen med sina trä spårvagnar som går mellan Soller och fiskehamnen där det finns stränder, båtuthyrning, och andra vattensporter. Olivera är en rustik ombyggd bondgård. Det stora sovrummet har en full king size säng. Den övre sovrummet till vänster har en dubbelsäng. Det övre sovrummet till höger har också en queen size-säng och en enkelsäng. Två badrum med handfat, toalett och dusch, och elektriska handdukshängare för vintern.
Det stora vardagsrummet öppnar upp till verandan. Den soliga välutrustat kök öppnar också upp till en veranda med bord och stolar så sommarens middagar är en fröjd med utsikt över bergen, fågelsång och avlägsna får klockor. En hängmatta i skuggan av johannesbröd varit träden för att vila och läsa. Det är en kombinerad gas och kol grill. Vid den gamla Soller marknaden kan man köpa fisk som fångats samma dag av våra lokala fiskare även lokala grönsaker.
Du kan vandra in i bergen direkt från huset eller gå till torget och ta spårvagnen till stranden. Som jag gör en hel del vandring jag gärna rekommendera bra promenader och ange de bästa kartorna som finns lokalt. Det finns flera bra promenader som är på gångavstånd från huset.
Ankomsttid från 04:00. Avgångstid från 10:00 om inget annat bestäms. Incheckning är normalt lördag till lördag, men om vi kan kommer vi att vara flexibla.

Toppen!

Trevlig, fint, praktiskt och mysigt hus. Ostört läge med vacker utsikt över berg och hav. Vi saknade ingenting och kommer gärna tillbaka.

Wonderful quiet and private house

We booked this house for a week of holiday with the whole family (7 pers.). The house is situated at the rim of the city and has a wonderful view of Soller and you can also see the sea. The house was clean and fresh and had room enough for all of us, it really helped with two bathrooms! Robert met us at the gas station in Soller and guided us to the house, which was helpful due to the narrow streets in the city (it could be smart to hire a small car). Overall we are very satisfied and can strongly recommend the house!

Lovely and peaceful house

Beautiful house and location - completely restful, well equipped, easy walk to town. Lots to do close by and further afield on Mallorca. Only the in and out of town and to the house is a bit tricky and takes some time.

Ruhig entspannte Urlaubslage

Das Haus liegt in fußläufiger Entfernung (15 min) vom Stadtzentrum von Soller entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt mit dem großen, erfrischendem und gepflegtem Pool. Da es zu unserem Reiszeit sehr heiß war, konnten wir immer unter der Überdachung der Veranda den Urlaub genießen.

Great holiday

Stayed with my family and parents . Really nice villa and the host was excellent, very attentive and helped us out with advice on where to go and the one time there was a small issue small issue (flushing toilet) we had it fixed within the hour

Oase der Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche im Sommer im Haus von Maria und Robert. Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet und die Einrichtung war sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Haus war für uns eine Oase der Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit in der sonst trubeligen Stadt Soller. Wir kehrten sehr gerne nach unseren Ausflügen in das Haus und genossen die Terrasse und den Pool. Teilweise bevorzugten wir im Haus zu bleiben statt Ausflüge zu machen. Robert war ein sehr angenehmer Gastgeber und kümmerte sich mit Hingabe um das Haus. Das spürt man in jeder Ecke des Hauses und Gartens. Wir empfehlen das Haus sehr!

Mountainside Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robert and Maria’s villa. It was equipped with everything we needed for our week long visit. Robert was only a call away if we needed anything and was very helpful. The only thing that could’ve made our stay better would’ve been fans in the bedrooms. Highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!

Stunning property, stunning location, perfect week away.

We had a wonderful week staying at Robert and Maria’s villa. Robert was very helpful upon arrival and made himself available throughout if we needed anything. It was a joy spending time together around the pool and strolling into town for evening meals. The hike back is a bit of a challenge but my 7 year old boy and 73 year old mum both managed it well. We loved listening to the birds, although never saw them. The villa is well equipped and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It was the perfect family holiday, exactly what we hoped for and we will definitely be back. There is so much to discover in the area, we ran out of time.

Even better than pictured

This Villa that is a short walk from Soller town center is even better than pictured. It is quiet and as picturesque as it could possibly be. The home is comfortable, and Robert’s greeting and recommendations for the island were much appreciated. I would 100% stay here again in future Mallorca visits.

schönes Ferienhaus in idyllischer Lage

Wir haben hier eine wunderschöne Osterwoche im Frühling im Duft von Orangen- und Zitrusblüten verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, der Gastgeber Robert sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt ein super Ferienhaus in der entzückenden Stadt Sóller.

Familienurlaub in Sôller

Wir hatten als Familie einen wunderbaren Urlaub im Olivera Haus. Besonders die schönen Abende auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die entfernten Lichter der Bucht von Soller haben es uns angetan. Maria und Robert sind wirklich gute Vermieter. Kleine liebevolle Details wie ein Begrüßungsblumenstrauß und Blüten in der Seifenschale hießen uns willkommen.

Perfect combination of countryside and access to Soller Town

Although the house is just a 10 - 15 mins pleasant walk from the beautiful town of Soller, once in its environs it feels secluded, very private and remote. Surrounded by the majesty of the Serra de Tramuntana, the house is uncluttered, clean and offered everything we needed it to on our relaxing holiday. Four adults and two small children were comfortably accommodated and everyone had a very enjoyable break. The saltwater pool was deliciously cool and the combination of poolside furniture and hammocks arranged around olive trees ensured there was both sunshine and shade throughout the day for everyone. We enjoyed our early morning visits to the bakery, our evening meals on the terrace and the cool rooms of the house at nighttime. Robert and Maria were wonderful and very responsive hosts and dealt with our enquiries expediently and efficiently. All in all we had a lovely time and hope to return on day if we can.

Quiet rural stay within easy reach of town, bars, cafes

A gorgeous farmhouse, simply but beautifully decorated, with a lovely homely feel. Robert couldn't have been more helpful with advice on where to go/what to see and a quick fix of a plumbing problem too. Would highly recommend :)

Wonderful house and area

We had a wonderful stay in the house - it was beautiful and peaceful and no detail had been missed in helping us have an incredibly comfortable holiday. It felt like a real treat. Robert met us in town so that we could find our way there and welcomed us with kindness and much love and information for the island. There is a steep walk back to the house from the town, but that gave us a sense of achievement at the end of each day! The area is stunning and there is so much to do - more than we could fit into a week. We are already planning a return.

Lovely stay at Olivera

We, a family of six adults, all enjoyed our stay at Olivera. On arrival Robert met with our taxi driver to ensure that he could find the house and Robert then offered to take us shopping, which was apppreciated. Robert responded promptly to a small issue we had and, whilst he was at the house, he ordered pizza for us as the place we contacted wasn’t doing delivery. The house itself has everything that you need. Air conditioning would be good, but fans are provided. The pool, which is well maintained, was most welcome as the temperature was 32-35c whilst we were there. One thing to note though is that there is no shallow end. As others have mentioned, the house is up a steep hill. The younger members of our party didn’t find it too much of a problem. Soller itself has a number of good restaurants, whilst other towns and villages such as Deia, Port de Soller and Fornalutx, are easy to get to on the excellent bus service. Overall, we had a lovely holiday.

Tranquil and beautiful

We had a glorious 2 week stay in the Sóller villa. It is close enough to the centre to enjoy the many cafes, restaurants and shops. A 10 minute walk downhill and 20 minutes back. The location is really special, at the foot of the mountains it is both beautiful and very peaceful. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing break. We all totally loved the house and pool and had a fabulous holiday, thank you Robert and Maria.

Mountains & sea (and no car)

We loved our week here. With the mountains on one side - green with pines & olives, despite the heat (mid-high 30s) - and the distant sea on the other, the house feels very private & remote but is only a short walk into the town of Sóller, with its shops, buses and marvellous wooden train to Palma. Apart from sleeping & cooking, we hardly spent time indoors. The long table on the veranda is great for family meals, and the deep pool is a good size and has soft salty water rather than chlorine. Robert is a really thoughtful host, who made us feel welcome and well looked-after and provided plenty of information on local walks, places to eat etc. Back home in rainy England, it all feels like a dream, but we hope to return sometime!

A Beautiful villa with fabulous outdoor space. The pool was just perfect for cooling off and relaxing. It was well equipped although rather warm at night without air conditioning. We loved the peaceful walk into Soller and the location was a great starting point for exploring.

100th Anniversary

A family event to celebrate two significant birthdays found the perfect location. Never before found accommodation that provided both champagne flutes and cake forks in a great kitchen. Rural location was a joy and the property had enough space, both inside and out, for everyone to find 'space' if they needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Robert and Maria although we did our best to be self-reliant and not bother them. Some of us did find the the walk up the hill, back to the property, a challenge as did the dreadful hire car, a DR, but everyone has benefitted from the exercise it seems.

I have always been very interested in the Mallorquin building style, architecture,and culture. I have been professionally involved in designing many homes in Soller maintaining the traditional Mallorquin Soller style. The Mallorquin Soller style is quite unique as it is a mixture of different cultures. Many of the older properties were originally built during the Islamic period that at its longest lasted 300 years. You can still see the influence in the names of many villages like Bini Ali or Lluc Alcari or Bini Basi. Even some people claim the name Soller has an Islamic meaning. There are still lots of traces left,including many minarets in Palma City.

I liked this house because it is so close to the Center but at the same time tucked away in the olive groves surrounded by nature. Distant sheep bells and the bird song are lovely. We have another smaller property also on HomeAway called Relaxing Casita (advert number 6300799) that is in the vicinity so if you had a larger group you could rent them together. I will be happy to offer any recommendations or assistance to make your stay the best I can.
Each property (The Relaxing Casita and the Olive Grove Villa ) is independent,autonomous. The pool and the garden of Olive Grove Villa is secluded and belongs only to Olive Grove Villa property. It is absolutely independent from the Relaxing Casita.
