Excellent stay in a lovely apartment

Just back from a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment The property contains everything you need, it’s like home from home. Excellent location for bars, restaurants and the beach. Complex is very well kept with a lovely pool. Would definitely recommend this apartment and will book again.

Short break in the sun

Very well located appt in a well maintained gated complex. Los Alcazares is still being developed , so there is building work going on ( not close to Albatross urbanisation ). Would definitely return to the area.

Albatross Apartment

Apartment has everything you need . Nice little touches, shopping trolley for supermarket shopping, chairs to take to beach.... One thing I will say is, unfortunately, not a lot of sun on the balcony, but we stayed at the beginning of June, so this could be different high summer. Location is great, 10 minutes to the Square where bars are located and 15/20 mins to beach. Definitely give it a try.

Would definitely recommend this property, spotlessly clean, really well equipped. You’ll find everything you need for your stay. Location is excellent, short walk to supermarkets, restaurants & beach. Ann greeted us & spent time explaining how everything worked. Couldn’t wish for anything better, thank you for lovely stay

A hidden Gem!

Perfect home from home apartment. Anne was so warm and welcoming giving us lots of tips. Everything you need is provided with a communal pool. Less then 10 minutes to the beach,restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend!!

Broken bed

The only down side was the main bed was broken and was not as comfortable as it should have been. Apart from that we would definitely stay at this apartment again it is in such a good position close to all the restaurants and beaches. The view over the well kept pool and the position of the apartment was spot on. Thank you we loved it.

Great apartment, location recommended!

We spent Christmas and New Year in Los Alcazares what a wonderful apartment. We were two couples and the apartment worked really well had everything we needed and in a great location of the centre and beach. Pick up from the airport was simple and very friendly and helpful. The resort is a great mix of Spanish and English so you get a great sense of Spain! Ideally located for visiting Murcia etc which was wonderful and very easy on the bus. Overall a wonderful location, recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with a real flavour of Spain definitely recommend - we'll be back without a doubt! Stuart

Holiday stay 16th August

The property was nice enough but is not the property shown in the main photograph on VRBO which is a bit misleading (it is a bit more tucked away in the corner) . The broken bed mentioned in a previous comment had been replaced with a new bed so all good. I think the fixtures and fittings, especially the bathroom was looking a bit dated and could do with an upgrade, but we did not pay a lot for the stay so I was not expecting 5 star, so overall a nice enough apartment for a short stay. The pool area in the complex was nice and the surroundings well maintained. The resort for me was not what I had hoped, you had to look very hard for anything that was Spanish but it was recommended to us and if you want a home from home it would tick most boxes.

Summarize your overall impression of the property

Arrived for a 10 day stay at this apartment. We were picked up by Ann who was an english speaking lady and very helpful. The apartment was very clean and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a holiday away from it all. There is air conditioning within the flat however we did not use this. The fans in each room were sufficient for us. The pool and surrounding areas were spotless and very well kept. Location to all the pubs, restaurants was only 5 minutes walk. Lidl and Supermercado also only a few minutes walk from the apartment. Beach 10 minutes. We will definately be returning. This is the second time we have been in this area of Murcia and it is such a lovely relaxing holiday. If you like walking, the promenande at the beach goes on for miles and it is spotless. Go to the old hotel for dinner. They are doing a special 5 course meal with dinner for 25E each. Fantastic!!! 222 Buffet up to the left from the apartment is really good too. The buffet chinese to the right of the apartments is also good and really cheap (set dinner with a half bottle of wine) 9 euros each. Lunch even cheaper. Restaurant Angela at the bottom of the strip is really good but the service was terrible and expensive. Rosalinds (roof top garden) was good too. Look forward to going again soon. Only one thing I would suggest Graham and Claire..... the apartments needs a shopping trolley. If you have any questions please let me know.

Hemos estado 10 dias en Agosto del 2023 y lo hemos pasado muy bien, la casa esta muy bien, tiene de todo, Graham el propietario muy atento, en todo momento si te comunicas con el te contesta muy rapido y Ann que es la mujer que te atiende en la casa y te da instrucciones y las llaves es encantadora, muy atenta La casa esta a 10-15 minutos de la playa, hay a 5 minutos en coche, mercadona, lidl y aldi, a 5 minutos hay una zona para comer/cenar o tomar algo, y la zona es tranquila, lejos de ruidos y demas, volveremos sin ninguna duda, gracias Graham !!!! Un saludo

Puntos positivos: Limpieza Distribución Ubicación Instalaciones Comunicación con propietario. En la cocina tiene de todo, es independiente, horno, cafetera cápsulas, microondas, vitrocerámica, lavadora, carrito de la compra. Tiene también sillas y tumbonas para la piscina. Parking privado descubierto, aunque hay sitio en la calle de sobra para aparcar. La vivienda es bastante fresca, tiene ventiladores en todas las habitaciones, el aire acondicionado es de pago, una terraza con vistas a la piscina, una mini barbacoa, está a 5 minutos andando de zona de restauración, 10 minutos de supermercados y 20 de la playa. La urbanización es de ambiente familiar, lo que se agradece, horario de piscina de 8 a 22:00 algunas horas con socorrista, zonas verdes. Muy buena comunicación con el propietario y Ann la persona que nos recibe y te explica todo. Puntos de mejora: La cama de la habitación principal hace mucho ruido, cuando te mueves un poco parece una locomotora. El frigorífico no enfría suficiente, tuve que tirar bandejas de carne por que no tenía suficiente frío y se me estropearon,la bebida tenías que meterla 1 hora al congelador para tomarla fresca. Pero sin duda repetiría, es 100%recomendable.

Our Happy Place 😄

Stayed at this apartment now twice and we will be back! I could write all day about how good this is but below sums up the highlights.. Excellent booking with owners, always reply quickly I feel now as if they are friends! Excellent location- across the road from all bars and restaurants but far enough away from any noise. Close to both the new and old towns. - walking distance only 5 -10 minutes Very clean apartment and well equipped overlooking a beautiful pool with easy access via a lift or stairs, only on the first floor. Check in easy with the lady who looks after the apartment on a a daily basis. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough if you are liking for a central place to all local amenities this is it!! We are a family of four who wanted somewhere in the sun that we could enjoy, that wasn't too far away from an airport and felt like home away from home.
We have enjoyed family holidays every year since and now our children come without us!!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We first started the hunt for a home in the sun back in 2004 and after doing the usual property tours we came across a resort we knew little about...Los Alcazares.

It had all the the qualities that we were looking for in a holiday location.

We wanted to be able to get around without the need to hire a car, knowing that all the local amenities are only a five minute walk away.

Just as important to us was access to a blue flag beach with seas that gently slope away making it safe for young children and grown-ups alike.

We also wanted something modern, clean and bright, that gave us all the comforts of home, not just the standard 'furniture pack' pine, but still enabled us to enjoy the Spanish lifestyle and all that it offers.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We visited many properties up and down the coast but was always drawn back to the Mar Manor area. Once we knew the area then we concentrated on the right place.
We chose Los Alcazares because of ithe 7km long sandy beach and the fact that this is primarily a Spanish resort which still retains its festivals throughout the year. The resort has an abundance of restaurants, all local and numerous tapas bars line the beach should you wish to eat there.
The apartment overlooks the pool and the balcony is the ideal place for topping up the tan.
