Mysig lägenhet på tredje våningen med två sovplatser plus en god vän eller barn i en restaurerad byggnad, 30 meter från Alfamas berömda synpunkt Santa Lucia, en fem minuters promenad från slottet och katedralen.

Marknader, bagerier och många restauranger finns i närheten. Traditionell transport ligger 10 meter bort och tunnelbanan ligger 600 meter bort. Här får du den verkliga atmosfären som bor bland lokalbefolkningen.

Alfama Lisbon Portugal Stay

The suite was nice with a small window through which we had a view of the Tagus River and December sunrises. The Number 28 Tram rumbled by the front of the building. The bedroom and the shower was a little tight but they were minor compromises given the overall nice atmosphere.

Quaint Old Town Lisbon Flat in a Great Location!

This wonderful little apartment has all the amenities needed for a great stay. Nice sleeping area, nice bathroom, great view and nice little eating nook. The location is perfect with literally a dozen restaurants within a stones throw. It is very easy to get on the the local trolly cars, Tuk Tuks, cabs or Uber from your front door. Excursions to other areas of Lisbon and even further like Sintra are easy to setup due to this. The owners were great communicators and easy to get a hold of. Recommend to any couples or single travelers looking for a comfy place to lay their head after exciting days/nights on the town.

Great location

The location could not be better. It is close to just about everything you would want. The apartment is small, but clean, comfortable and with all the amenities you will need. The check in and out processes are perfect.

Fabulous location

Fabulous location and great compact accommodation that was really perfect for our short trip. Lisbon is amazing and absolutely a must to see at least once and this accommodation is at the centre of it all. Great to have the tram right on the doorstep too. Would recommend

Cozy apartment, great for a couple of days

Nice and cozy apartment located between two beautiful viewpoints. Excellent location, not so far from the main touristic attractions. The host is very welcoming person, the instructions were simple and very clear. Excellent communication.Be ready to the very steep stairs, there is no elevator. The windows face the street with trams, you can hear and feel every tram passing. However, this wasn’t an issue for us, we really enjoyed our stay!

Cozy Home in the Hustle and Bustle of Alfama

I adore this apartment. If I find myself back in that part of Portugal I will certainly check its availability first! It is in a busy part of Alfama, close to the nightlife. However, still feels safe and comfortable. It had every amenity I needed and I felt well taken care of. I’m so glad I booked this apartment!

Central Location

Very clean but small apartment in the middle of all Lisbon has to offer. Within walking distance of many of the major sights and attractions. Very quiet inside although the surrounding streets are very busy with pedestrians.

Sweet location

The apartment is as shown on the site; it is small and on the very top floor under the roof, but we found it suited our needs perfectly. The location is ideal for discovering the Alfama and beyond; the streets are picturesque, safe and the trolleys rattle right by the street below. From the mini-balcony you see an amazing tree shading restaurant tables, at a particularly challenging corner for cars (entertaining for us!). We appreciated the views of the river from the little windows in the sitting area, and the hosts provided many thoughtful details including guidebooks, advice about places to eat, coffee, and a bottle of wine! The castle is close by, and the Porta del Sol viewpoint, and we found a range of fun restaurants in the area (Tapas, Casa di Tia Helena...). A wonderful stay!

Magical Alfama flat!

We absolutely loved out flat! The sounds of the neighborhood: trolley, birds and Fado music made the stay absolutely magical. We had access to the best coffee shops, port and adjacent neighborhoods and yet felt removed from the hyper-activity of Chiado and Baixa. We were truly in our own awesome universe. Enjoy!

Rental for the Adventurous

Property was in an interesting location, exposed to loud music, party noises and grilled seafood smells from late morning to midnight during our June stay. As the attic, it was way smaller than described woth narrow stairs to it, and those with more open minded and able to adapt easily to less comfortable surroundings that older adults prefer, would be able to appreciate its location, especially when it's on the fabled TramE28 route.

Beautiful look-out

One may use many adjectives in reviewing their experience...when only one is needed. Would we return. YES WE WOULD...definitely. The only advice we would pass along, would be to use the number 737 bus, when returning back to the flat.

The location of this apartment is amazing! The touristy city center, castle, and other sites are just a short walk away. There’s a TON of good restaurants to choose from and we felt very safe walking the streets both in the day and at night in this neighborhood. There are fans provided since there is no A/C. It had the basic necessities aside from any laundry detergent. The only downside of the apartment is the ants. Make sure all food items are completely sealed or stored in the fridge because even when we didn’t have food out there were a lot of ants. It def did not ruin our stay though!

The Rapunzel suite

Well first off this town is magical! Narrow cobbled streets that have new places/shopping/restaurants to discover down each one. My 17 year old and I had the best time staying in this cute little suite. The balcony was my favorite part under the branches of a big tree. A grocery store, an excellent traditional Portuguese restaurant and the best gelato I have ever had. It has everything 2 people would need. It has all the kitchen necessities and is so clean. Don’t take a large suitcase like we did though. Take 2 smaller ones to get up the stairs. It’s some work to get up there but so well worth it! There are beautiful views of the river out the back windows. We loved this place!

Our Tower Getaway

The apartment was at the tip top of a great old building, right on the tram line. This made it fun to take the tram to and from town, avoiding climbing all of the amazing Lisbon hills. The Alfama district is directly below you, and the castle is a quick walk up from you. The adventure of Lisbon is at your fingertips. The apartment is cozy, bright and airy, with wonderful views of the harbor. We looked to see every morning what ships have come and gone. A lively square down below and the tram that trundles past all hours of the day and night. Magic! There are quite a few stairs to reach this amazing place, but not to daunting.
