Bestående av två av de ursprungliga historiska stugorna, har Bayleaf behållit charmen och karaktären hos de tidiga nitton hundra. Även om det renoverades två gånger behåller det de ursprungliga oregon golven och vackra fönsterluckor i teak. Det har smakfullt renoverats och har alla moderna bekvämligheter.
På övervåningen finns 3 mycket rymliga sovrum som alla har eget badrum. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng och en balkong med fantastisk utsikt. Man kan faktiskt se linbanan gå upp till toppen av Table Mountain. Det andra och tredje sovrummet på övervåningen har båda queen size-sängar.
Nedervåningen finns 2 avsikter. Dessa kan vara sammanflätade om så önskas. Det ena sovrummet har en queen size-säng och leder ut till trädgården och poolen. Sovrummet bredvid detta har 2 enkelsängar som kan göras till en king size-säng. Båda rummen har badrum med eget badrum.

Top notch hosts and home

We stayed for 3 nights, 6 adults with 2 seniors. The downstairs bedrooms were perfect to keep them safe. The hosts were beyond accommodating. The South African art and charm of the home was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this home.

Fantastic eclectic house close to beach

This is a super fun 5 bedroom house in Camps Bay so close to the ocean ! We loved the location , the rooms, the ability to relax and enjoy time together in the living room . A fully serviceable kitchen with a beautiful cake provided by the host as well as coffee, yogurt and I can’t remember what else. The hosts were quick to respond and far exceeded all of our expectations. We would definitely return .

Amazing house and location in Camps Bay!

Shirley was a wonderful host, very accommodating when our check in plans changed last minute. The property itself was great, so much room, had everything you could need, very clean, unique decorations and a great location within Camps Bay. Highly recommend!

Family members stayed together for a SA wedding, great time every one/couple had their own room and bath. Great location and easy stay. Owners and housekeeper friendly and helpful, we all would highly recommend this property for a great stay in Camps Bay.

Nice finale to our 3 week trip to Africa

Lovely host. Virginia the housekeeper was amazing. She graciously did laundry for us which was much appreciated. Love the location. The house is filled with whimsical art. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable.

Camps Bay trip

We all loved staying here, great location and so close to bars, restaurants and the beach. Very big place for us all to spread out and have some down time when needed. Shirley and Virginia were stars and so helpful

Great Camps Bay home

This place is absolutely fantastic. Centrally located and close to the beach, all the restaurants and the grocery store. Very safe house and location. Huge plus for travelers, particularly those without cars. There is a nice, safe place for a vehicle but we just did Ubers. Centrally located to the major sites. Wonderful that all five bedrooms have their own baths pretty much. We loved the pool. Sure helped with achy muscles after doing table mountain. Comfortably decorated. Definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful stay

I would definitely recommend! Tons of room and a great location. Shirley was wonderful. The load sharing (daily schedules where the power is off) could be a problem if you use medical equipment as there is no generator for the property.

Fantastic house, fantastic location

Thank you for your very welcoming stay at your property. 5 minutes walk to the shops and beach, however lounging by the pool and cooking BBQ's made our stay very relaxing. The house was well equipped in every way, from spices in the kitchen to extra pool towels in each bedroom, thank you

Great Camps Bay location, walk to beaches & groceries

Our family of 5 stayed with plenty of space. Enjoyed the Camps Bay location being walking distance to restaurants, groceries, and the beach. Appreciated being able to park the car safely behind gate as well. House was clean and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Thank you Shirley and Keith!

Wedding in Cape Town

Rented the house for family for a wedding week in Cape Town. The location was fabulous. The house is warm, comfortable and very well stocked. Shirley, our host, and Virginia, housekeeper, were responsive and efficient. We would definitely book again.

Fabulous stay! House was homey, well furnished and equipped, well located... Walking distance to beach, restaurants etc. Overall: great! Kitchen has every appliance and utensil you need (and then some). :-D Owner was great. Left us a cake! :-)

Right here in one car Camp Bay, ladies week

All about this day was amazing! We would recommend for all ages and large families. The house was huge. Beautiful in decor. Close to restaurants and the beach. Shirley the owner was an exceptional host. Very secure! Loved the mountain and city views. We would definitely return!! Shirley’s housekeeper did our laundry and other caretaker very helpful.

Absolutely gorgeous stay

We had an amazing time at Shirley’s home. As it is a real home, you feel so welcomed and comfortable right away. The house is huge with everything you need. The view from the garden and the balcony is stunning, onto lions head and table mountain. The house is only a short stroll away from the beach, the supermarket and the restaurants. Perfect location! Shirley, her husband and Virginia are fabulous hosts! We can highly recommend the house and hope we will be back some day.

Lucky find in Camps Bay

Owners were excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by their housekeeper, Virginia, who kept the house immaculate and even did our laundry. The house was accurately described, very comfortable, very well-equipped and well located and secure. Although our overall rating is excellent there was no central heating so in winter months it is a bit cold. But this one downside is small when compared to the atmosphere and ease of living there for the week we spent.

Home Sweet Home - Excellent

This property was perfect for our family of 8! Shirley has thought of everything from welcoming messages, some breakfast foods, beach bags ready to go in each room, coffee and tea and a wonderful housekeeper who helped keep us in clean clothes. The location is excellent - mere steps from the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. A very comfortable and welcoming home away from home. LOL...she even had face cloths which no one else seems to offer in SA. Thanks for a great stay! Judy and family

My husband and I were both born in Cape Town and lived here all our lives. We both went to the University of Cape Town. I am a retired school teacher specialising in special needs and Keith is still practising law. I travel to London once a year to visit my brother and sister who both live there. I am a keen tennis player and Keith is a golfer.

We bought this house 32 years ago. Both my children were brought up in the house. They have both moved out now and for the last 20 years we have been running this once family home as a guest Villa.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It is in the best position in Camps Bay as you can walk everywhere. All guests who stay here feel very much at home as it has a wonderful relaxed feel about it and the house has so much charm and character. It is very safe for children and we also have a pool net.
