Bann Chang Thai Villa, originally designed as a private residence at Kamala Beach, Phuket, with its stunning open air design this modern luxury villa is perched on the edge of a hill overlooking Kamala Valley. Its strategic location offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and sunsets.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area, yet close enough to easily make your way there if you so wish to, this villa offers the perfect balance of serenity and convenience. Its two great pools and large terrace areas allow you to lounge all day and night.


Bann Chang Thai is a marvelous and secure Villa, more like a small resort that has everything to offer. There are 9 bedrooms (8 En Suite and 1 with separate bathroom) with a total of 12 separate sleeping areas/rooms, 8 king beds, 1 queen bed, 8 single beds, and 4 sofabeds which can accommodate 24 people comfortably. 9 bathroom/toilets with different styles, 2 Jacuzzi's, 4 bathtubs and 8 showers + 2 outdoor showers. 2 fully equipped kitchens with everything you can wish for. a fully equipped gym. 2 large swimming pools with terraces. 4-5 Family friendly Thai staff, constantly smiling. You have access to the entire villa, The upper level has 2 Master bedrooms with full en suite bathrooms (shower & bathtub) one with loft, 1 king room with loft and a separate shower, plus 2 more rooms with en suite (one with loft) available as bedrooms. The lower level has 4 large rooms with en suite bathrooms.


Bann Chang Thai villa is great for celebrating special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. It is especially idyllic for weddings due to its elegant sala, we have many suggestions for the Wedding Planners or our Guest Relation Manager/Event coordinator can help organize most events. If you want to explore Phuket by booking a tour, excursions, renting a private boat, or other activities, our private tour agent can make it happen.

You can order superb Thai food in the Villa by lunch or dinner time, from our great Thai Chef Khun Noi. We can also provide luxury Candle Light dinners or Barbecue evenings with fresh ingredients from the local market. Almost everything is possible in the villa!

The villa is located on a peaceful hillside valley, just a 5-minute to beautiful Kamala Beach, restaurants, and local shops. Staying in the villa offers an opportunity to experience life in a real Thai village where the pace is slow and people are relaxed. Within 15 minutes, you can enjoy nightlife and shopping in Patong, enjoy the famous Surin Beach, or visit Bang Tao and Layan Beach just about a 20-25 minute drive. Central Festival Shopping Mall is an excellent option for shopping and Phuket Old Town to see the Phuket culture and try local food about 45 minutes from the villa. Additionally, there are several world-class golf courses within a 30-40 minute drive. You may not feel like leaving the property much (as we hear from our guests often), and the closest high quality local cuisine option you have is right here in the Villa.

Kamala Beach is known as one of Phuket's best family-friendly beaches, maintaining its natural beauty with community support. The beach offers a variety of beachside restaurants and boutique shops while remaining a peaceful holiday destination. Many guests love the charming village atmosphere of Kamala Beach and often return to visit again.

At Kamala Beach, you can find the amazing beach lounges “Cafe Del Mar” and Phuket Fantasea. This popular cultural theme park is located just a few minutes from the villa for entertainment and cultural shows. Additionally, Bang Tao Beach is home to famous beach clubs like Catch and Maya have opened up their doors

The location and outlook is amazing, the team running the villa are wonderful and cater to your every need and the food is excellent. This villa is very beautiful! As soon as you walk in, you are speechless. Perfect place to get married! Maria, who helped us plan our wedding, made our special day priceless. It was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything else. Everything went smoothly and we will forever cherish those memories in such a beautiful place. Unbelievable Thailand Trip!

This home is absolutely breathtaking! A group of guys were traveling throughout Asia and this was our final stop. The house has so much character and the decor is beautiful. The staff is constantly working to ensure your stay is perfect. We had dinner every evening prepared by the chef who made amazing dishes. They are very flexible and can accommodate any food preference. If you are visiting Phuket, you are missing out if you are not staying at this wonderful home!

Amazing

This villa was amazing, staff was so friends, helpful and very attentive. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. We had a meal on the first night and the food was fantastic , Breakfast each morning was also great, so much choice and plenty to go around. There was 19 of us who stayed here for 4 night and everyone loved it. Stefans communication were very straight forward and always responded quickly. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to stay here.

Total paradise

Just spent a week here and got married. Everything was perfect could not have been better. Only down side is it’s a bit out of town but the views make up for it. Don’t hesitate to book with these guys. They are great

Exceeded Expectations

We had a family group of 17 staying at the Villa and we lived it! There was space for everyone to have quiet time as well as plenty of room for group meals and gatherings. We loved having 2 pools and the 8 ball and table tennis tables were great for all. The views were amazing and all rooms were beautifully decorated. The staff were very discrete but were there in an instant when needed. Thank you we will return some day soon! Highly recommend this Villa!

Perfect group getaway

A group of five families (kids ranging from 5-20 yrs old) enjoying this spectacular retreat for my 50th birthday celebrations. Whilst the room layout is quirky, it really did work. The staff were absolutely exceptional. We were not always a neat and tidy team, but they discretely removed all signs of chaos and as an overworked mum of three boys, I cannot tell you the last time I was treated this way. The property is not brand new, but it is certainly authentic. The food was exceptional and there was no need to ever eat out. Kids menus and earlier dining for them was a dream. Thank you to the smiley staff and the driver too (who never once complained about extra stops or rowdy passengers). Had such a great time. Thoroughly recommend to anyone considering a Thailand celebration. Thanks!!

Wir verbrachten nach 2016 nun schon das zweite Mal unsere Ferien in der wunderschönen Bann Chang Thai Villa. Diese zeichnet sich durch ihre zwei schönen Pools und die geräumigen, stilvoll eingerichteten Zimmer aus. Auch in den Aussenbereichen unzählige, wunderschöne Skulpturen, Bilder, Schnitzereien welche vorallem Abends wunderschön zur Geltung kommen. Von der grosszügigen Terrasse kann man zu atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergängen speisen - ein einzigartiges Feeling, dass wir schon jetzt wieder vermissen. Abgerundet wird das ganze durch superherzliches, pflichtbewusstes Personal und einer sensationellen Köchin! Ebenfalls hervorzuheben gilt es den umsichtigen, sehr zuverlässigen Fahrer Rat, der entgegen den lokalen Gepflogenheiten sehr sicher und gesetzeskonform unterwegs ist. Wir kommen wieder!

What more can I say, from airport pick up to airport return, the service/villa condition/staff/facilities /food were of the highest order. Whether its a golf/family/friends holiday, without question this is the villa to stay in, the pictures don't do it justice. The service by the entire team is without question as good as anyone could hope for. We booked the villa for a group of 17 golfers, Our group enjoyed the experience so much, a number of them have booked the villa for later in the year and next year with family and friends. I could not recommend the villa enough,

Wedding exceeded our expectations!!

We had our wedding at Bann Chang and we were blown away by the villa, the staff, and the attention that went into making our event perfect. Our stay at the villa was amazing. All of the staff is friendly and helpful and they really went out of their way to make everyone happy. The villa itself was beautiful and very well maintained. The pools were always perfectly clean. The food was the best we had in Thailand. You can get a feel of the villa from the pictures, but when we arrived, there was something special about it that made us feel very attached and we really hope to come back some day. We worked with the wedding coordinator, Maria, in the months before the wedding. She did an amazing job of organizing everything and I loved her taste and all the ideas she proposed as well as the vendors she had suggested to us. We were blown away when we saw everything come together and we realized the effort and attention to detail that was put into making everything better than we could have imagined. Choosing a venue on the opposite side of the world was a little scary at first, but we feel so lucky to have found it and would highly recommend it to anyone considering having an event here.

The Most Amazing Wedding and Holiday Venue

My now husband, our two daughters and 26 of our closest friends (with 5 children) all from Australia had the pleasure of staying in this tiny slice of heaven in Kamala for 7 days. We also held our Wedding here, and everything from initial booking/communication throughout was easy and stress free. Stefan has an amazing group who help the villa run smoothly. Maria whom we now call a dear friend made sure our wedding was nothing but perfect, she is a delight to work with and no request is too much. Korn the Villa manager is equally delightful, always smiling and happy to help. Rat the driver, was a favourite with the men of the group. The food was delightful, we did venture out to eat on a few occassions but always preferred the food in the Villa to eat. We all cannot wait to return and visit again!

Beautiful Villa, Great Stay

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, spacious Villa. The staff is excellent, and everyone in our party of 10 was able to relax, have fun and enjoy the great menu they prepared for us each evening. The Villa also has a driver (at fair rates), so it is easy to get in, out and all around Phuket Island. Highly recommended.

What can I say, ... we were simply blown away by the beautiful week we spent in this magnificent Villa. The attention that everyone showed, the professionalism and the fantastic attitude of everybody we met, was just great. An amazing villa

A truly amazing villa for a holiday with family or friends. We stayed for a week, using the villa as the venue for our wedding. The layout is ideal for any occasion, and the staff assist with anything, no matter how big or small. We will definitely be staying again.

Outstanding in every way!

This place is amazing. The pictures are for real but they really don't do it justice. All the bedrooms are very nice, a few are really special. There are many places to relax whether it be the pools, the great room, the cabana, the outdoor living rooms around the pools, its just lovely in every way. The decor is beautiful and the appointments are luxury in every way. The best review I can offer is that the villa is extremely clean. I am a clean freak and I was very comfortable here. The level of daily cleaning here is equal to or better than any hotel I've ever stayed in including the One and Only, Four Seasons, and the original Peninsula. Don't get me wrong, those are all stellar, this is certainly on par. Aside from the home itself the staff and service level are second to none. Breakfast is served every morning at the time you'd like with a buffet and made to order items of a wide variety. All of the refrigerators (in kitchens and all bedrooms and coolers next to the pools for easy access) are stocked with whatever beverage you could want and if its not there they are glad to get it for you. The restocking seems to be done by magic as we did a good job of trying to empty the coolers and fridges but they somehow always were filled though we never saw it happen. Lunch and dinner can be ordered with short notice and the food at this villa was the best I had on the trip. There is a charge for everything except breakfast but the price is about the same you would pay at the market, not like resort prices at all. The staff is awesome. Gorn and her crew attend to everything you need. They are glad to arrange excursions, get special items from the market, wake you up when its time to go to the beach, whatever you ask. Of course they are excellent cooks but they are also great baristas glad to make you an espresso, cappuccino, or iced coffee whenever you want. Have a headache after a long night? Have them fixed you up a fresh iced coconut and sip it in the shade while they make you some breakfast. The drivers are great too. They are always ready to take you wherever you want to go in the mini-bus that the house keeps on site. they gave us great recommendations on restaurants, beaches, and even pulled over and told us when and where to get out and take a great picture. Outstanding!

This place is amazing. The pictures are for real but they really don't do it justice. All the bedrooms are very nice, a few are really special. There are many places to relax whether it be the pools, the great room, the cabana, the outdoor living rooms around the pools, its just lovely in every way. The decor is beautiful and the appointments are all luxury. The best review I can offer is that the villa is extremely clean. I am a clean freak and I was very comfortable here. The level of daily cleaning here is equal to or better than any hotel I've ever stayed in including the One and Only, Four Seasons, and the original Peninsula. Don't get me wrong, those are all stellar, this is certainly on par. Aside from the home itself the staff and service level are second to none. Breakfast is served every morning at the time you'd like with a buffet and made to order items of a wide variety. All of the refrigerators (in kitchens and all bedrooms and coolers next to the pools for easy access) are stocked with whatever beverage you could want and if its not there they are glad to get it for you. The restocking seems to be done by magic as we did a good job of trying to empty the coolers and fridges but they somehow always were filled though we never saw it happen. Lunch and dinner can be ordered with short notice and the food at this villa was the best I had on the trip. There is a charge for everything except breakfast but the price is about the same you would pay at the market, not like resort prices at all. The staff is awesome. Gorn and her crew attend to everything you need. They are glad to arrange excursions, get special items from the market, wake you up when its time to go to the beach, whatever you ask. Of course they are excellent cooks but they are also great baristas glad to make you an espresso, cappuccino, or iced coffee whenever you want. Have a headache after a long night? Have them fixed you up a fresh iced coconut and sip it in the shade while they make you some breakfast. The drivers are great too. They are always ready to take you wherever you want to go in the mini-bus that the house keeps on site. they gave us great recommendations on restaurants, beaches, and even pulled over and told us when and where to get out and take a great picture. A 5-star resort all to yourself

The experience – Imagine staying at the Ritz Beach Resort. Now imagine if you and your friends and family had the entire Ritz Beach Resort and the staff to yourself. That is what our stay felt like at Bann Chang Thai Villa. We were there for New Years 2016 and could not have had a better vacation. We have already started to plan our December 2016 trip to Phuket and we WOULDN’T stay anywhere else. The Property – As amazing as the pictures are, they do not do this property justice. Every room, nook, and cranny was immaculate. The property is decorated throughout to accentuate the culture of Thailand and clearly pays homage to its people. There were days that we spent hours just walking the halls and rooms admiring the décor. Walking around this property was an experience in itself. Both pools were kept crystal clear. The first night we arrived, we couldn’t tell from the top floor if there was water in the bottom pool! Most of our time during the stay was spent lounging in and around the “endless” pool on the bottom level. You truly could get “lost” in the tranquility of this mountainside resort. The beds in the rooms were all very comfortable. The linen and the towels were all high end resort quality and you could feel it. The rooms gave us a very separated but together feeling during our stay. It was easy to get away for a private moment while still being a part of the group. There are so many common areas that I am sure we didn’t use half of them. It really made it difficult to want to leave the property at all! This place is paradise. When we did leave, we were a scooter ride away from just about anything you could imagine. When we wanted to travel as a group, the driver was usually less than 10 minutes away. The Staff – As beautiful as the property was, it was nothing compared to Stefan and his staff. My entire party had nightmare experiences flying from various places into Phuket. Ratt (best driver ever) greeted us, each small group arriving, at the airport with a warming smile, a bottle of water, and a “glad you made it” attitude. Arriving at the property, we were greeted by Gorn at the gate and this set the pace for the entire visit. If you needed anything, Gorn and Diyari were just a few steps away. They were truly amazing. They were everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The chef was also amazing. We actually had an opportunity to have her teach us how to make authentic Thai dishes. The staff is amazing.
